I remember getting a copy of this back somewhere 25 or 30 years ago. It's one of the most beautiful pieces of preaching I've ever heard. God bless Brother Bobby Thompson where he is now... I heard he passed in the late 2,000's.

We were blessed to meet and hear brother Bobby several times. Once was the Sunday after 9/11. He was a great preacher. I believe he passed away around 2008.
I saw a Eagle at the end of my couch in a open vision. Numbers 12:6
The Five Foolish Virgin's are found in Jeremiah 7:1-16, they never followed the supreme command of love.

Amen. May God give you wisdom as you move into ministry. Release the guilt. Whatever you did is now testimony not condemnation. May God place you in the right place with the right mentors.
Make sure God called you to preach and not man.
Find a mentor whom you KNOW bears rhe fruit of the Holy Spirit and whose life projects only Christ. God does things in order. He will direct your steps in an orderly fashion.
Intentions without action is useless. If God calls you just do it

Larry, is your brother in law still living? I hope he is. We met him and his wife at the Gatlinburg Gathering as we all waited outside for the singing to start. He was utterly fascinating to listen to, and I have wished we could have stayed in touch. They gave me their email address, and I emailed them but never heard back. I hope they are both still alive and well.
Bro. Bobby use to come to our house to visit @VillaRica. My dad & him were close preacher friends. Bobby 's dad-Tommy, was also friends to our family. Bro. Bobby was a great Evangelist, God called preacher. He also had a great sermon, I heard him preach, titled: "Jewels In The Devils Junk Yard". Last I heard, He was living around Adairsville.I sure would love to see him & talk to him again, even if he is not able to preach anymore.He has won lots of people over to receive Christ as their Saviour. Has touched many folks lives through the gospel.

Ask God to show you & give you a Bible message that you cannot keep to yourself & that you will share it, only if you will, and see what God does through you, but walk through that door if it's God alone, that opens it & be bold, steadfast, giving God all the glory &never yourself.
