Hey Ben I'm from Belgium and I went numerous times to Spa. I heard you doubting where Raidillon was. Well, Raidillon is the corner you call 'Eau Rouge'. I'll just explain it, because not many non-Belgians get this or know this (which is not so bad but we, Belgians, are very proud of this track, so ... yeah). You call it 'Eau Rouge' but actually this uphill part is 'Raidillon', the famous 'Eau Rouge' corner is the small bend at the bottom of the hill. The reason why this is called Eau Rouge is because there is a river underneath it called Eau Rouge (haha funfact) which means 'Red Water' coming from a special sort of minerals (I think, not sure). I hope you and everyone else get the difference. Some other small details : the corner after 'Les Combes' is called 'Bruxelles' and the 'Pouhon'-corner (the double left-hander) is actually called 'Double Gauche' and the big chicane next up is called 'Pif Paf-chicane'. Not the most interesting information you'll ever read but, this are some nice details :)
Also the corner after Les Combes (downhill right hander) as far as I know is called 'Rivage'.Is it the 'Bruxelles' corner you're talking about? Or is it the one before that?
I find when racing that the racing line doesn't help me with braking as most of the time it tells me to brake to late and I end up going past the turn so I usually leave that off and just play with easy bots till I figure it out.
hey ben, is there any chance that you'll do a live-comm career mode again? your 2011 playthrough was my favorite because of how you reacted to what was going on, made the series really fun to watch imo.
you're taking the wrong lines, in the wet you're supposed to avoid the normal racing line because the rubber that gets layed down by the cars becomes slippery
I am wondering if maybe TopBanter07's twitchiness results from playing with keyboard instead of a wheel. I used to play games like these on a keyboard sometimes and this is what it would look like.
Eau Rouge isn't completely slippy. It's the climbing right hander. The most slippery is Raidillon (wich you called Eau Rouge). And yes, it's a very tricky turn. Even on dry races
Codemasters announced that they release Dirt 4 at 6th June 2017. Hype is real! ;) But I am not ordering this game until Tiametmarduk will play this game and showcase us in UA-cam. ;)
That moment when he didn't realize he won
AJHedges lol
Yep i noticed it too lol. I thought that snowadore took a huge shortcut towards the beginning lol.
15 second time penalty
ye
2:12 "black" and "blue" are both words where i come from, but aparently in Australia , they're just a bunch of letters and numbers and bla bla bla!
Haha , good point
Bwoah
Where did you see black and blue? I only saw gold and white!
President Robin Fuck yeh mate I was thinking the same thing
President Kimi 🐷🐷🐷🐷
did he did not realise that he won by more than 10 seconds
He had only one penalty for 2 seconds; Snowadore had three penalties for a total of fifteen
Alternative title:
Belgium Grand Prix 1998

Hey Ben

Isn't that chicane is called 'Fagnes'?
ej36055 yeah it has a double name it's 'Pif Paf' or 'Fagnes' just like the 'Double Gauche' is also 'Pouhon' both are correct :)
Also the corner after Les Combes (downhill right hander) as far as I know is called 'Rivage'.Is it the 'Bruxelles' corner you're talking about? Or is it the one before that?
ej36055 i think rivage is the one in Monaco
I desperately want to try a track day at spa, track was amazing in various games
Ben, does the series name mean you're a noob??
Delirious User yep ;)
I think we need to find something 10000 levels below noon to categorize me now...
Tiametmarduk You should do this on PS4 too
Delirious User That is very true!! 😂😂

Damage do you have Ben
Brian Glennon just leave him alone he knows what he's doing :P
Brian Glennon yes, yes, yes you dont't need to remind him every 10 seconds!
Honestly, what are we doing here, UA-cam comments or Raikkonen impersonations?!
This is the most captivating series you do.
Wanna know how to drive Spa in the wet? Watch Michael Schumacher's laps in 1998 before Coulthard let him crash into him.
Sven Schwingel Just short shift and drive patient.
0:34 honestly 😂 you got the vettel virus
and on 1:26
Yeah, I thought he was doing it on purpose.
Milan Dekkers
This looks like ITB "Under Pressure" episode :D
Love it, please keep making more of these videos in the series, thanks 4 the great uploads
Great vid as always, congrats on the win!! Well done to the finishers. Rain on any track is difficult, let alone Spa. Look forwards the next vid :)
these "22 Online Noobs" videos are guaranteed hilarious
I love the Crash Bandicoot "Hog Wild" music in the baackground. Nice touch there Ben :D

Really enjoy your channel mate! I've watched some of your vids before, but now I subbed! Keep up the videos! Greetings from Belgium!

Rumours Said that it would come back in september 2022
Its been now rescheduled to 30TH FEBRUARY
LJA's Trains & Games every week ofc
It's back
7:14 cheeky ferrari driver cheering with two hands off the wheel while taking the corner
those wet tires look beautiful rolling through the rain soaked track.
You won the race at the end lol
The corner you referred to is actual raddillon and the corner eau rouge is the small left hander at the bottom of the hill.
I find when racing that the racing line doesn't help me with braking as most of the time it tells me to brake to late and I end up going past the turn so I usually leave that off and just play with easy bots till I figure it out.
Snowadore ? The guy who did a Kimi at Spain ?
hey ben, is there any chance that you'll do a live-comm career mode again? your 2011 playthrough was my favorite because of how you reacted to what was going on, made the series really fun to watch imo.
Ben, can you do a no assists race with heavy rain and severe corner cutting at Australia?
22 noobs try to survive Singapore
John Pikos In heavy rain plis xD
It been scientifically proven that a painted curb with rain on it is the slickest substance known to man. Lets put these all around a race track.
Monaco heavy rain, simulation damage, no assist?b
Just So you know, driving on a dry racing line in the rain Will actually Give you les grip due to the rubber on the road, that makes it more slippery
YESSS! A VIDEO ON MY BIRTHDAY!
Very good commentary!
Very good, slippery on the kerbs which made you crash. Keep this going it's very good.
Why is there no contact between cars when they crash? is that always the default when you race online on this game?
What gaming wheel do you use? And is it worth buying a cheaper one or are they not so good?
can you play these games with just your keyboard?
tell me why dry racing lines are faster than wet racing lines in the rain in this game
3:30 you don't want to know how many times that's happened to me IRL in my go-kart which doesn't have front brakes only rear brakes
last time i was so early ben used to upload youtuber championship
I can't believe he didn't even see he won the whole time, I was craving for a comment on it.
when do you actually do these and how does one take part?
you're taking the wrong lines, in the wet you're supposed to avoid the normal racing line because the rubber that gets layed down by the cars becomes slippery
Looks like a walk in the park after night + snow in Dirt Rally :D
Are you calling my boy Snowy a noob?
King Renly Baratheon BWOAH..
Props for the Crash Bandicoot music!
Monza full wet conditions. It'll be chaos into the first corner
Surprised there wasn't some noobs like Flying Finn, TRL Martin or Cupid xD
Is there mechanical failures on f1 2013???
I didn't do well this time in spa.
I love this series :D
1:09 he cut the whole corner 😂
Just subbed. I like these videos a lot. :)
you love that Ricciardo Pic dont you haha
Might as well make it a "survive series" :P
I love the survive series!
muuuum, I made it, I'm in a tiametmarduk video
no car2car collisions?
how can you drive through cars that have just crashed?
I am wondering if maybe TopBanter07's twitchiness results from playing with keyboard instead of a wheel. I used to play games like these on a keyboard sometimes and this is what it would look like.
Nice video. Love it🔥🔥😂😂💯💯
Spa 98 all over again,
eau rouge crashes, the red flag, restart, and a player in a ferrari wil run into a back of a mclaren
Haven’t even watched 5 seconds, betting EVERYONE is going to go off at the very start, very first corner.
Way much better than NBCSN F1 coverage!
I like this type of videos!!!
Ben do a wet track dry tyres challenge + drive till the tyres explode in Monaco. Good Luck
Ben, what do you think of the latest news about MRT being broke and failing to find a investor so they won't be able to participate in F1 2017?
3:00 why you wait for rest
happy Australia day m8
That moment when you have 10000000% more traction than anyone else.
Should do Singapore, heavy rain, no assists and dry tyres only
Damage do you have Ben?
Have you done Spain yet? 😊
@Tiametmarduk - what setup should I use for the Japan GP of f1. What brake bias and differential percentage and downforce no. It would help!
Monaco is difficult in rain because u slide a lot with all those sharp turns
is this ben's noob journey:)
do you plan on gamepad or what?
Spa in extreme wets? Get your 2008 season out everyone
Shards of carbon fiber everywhere.
How did he win ? Did the other driver have penalty time ??
what about the grand prix of china? That'll be fun in the first sector!
you control it like a pro gamer
God damn that music is a throwback
Should I get F1 2016 or wait for 2017?
Eau Rouge isn't completely slippy. It's the climbing right hander. The most slippery is Raidillon (wich you called Eau Rouge). And yes, it's a very tricky turn. Even on dry races
Sees the title. Expecting a classic 1998 Spa Pile-Up. Well, it did happen on a small scale.
That music near the start reminds me of the original crash bandicoot
idk why youtube recommend you in my list but.. Do more of this pls
Does anybody know, why there isn't a SESSION LIST option in the XB1 version?
10/10 for accuracy about weather in belgium
do you play on controller / steering wheel?
do you use steering wheel or controller?
Ben won anyway because he had a penalty so well done
How do you put the carrer number and helmet in multiplayer?
Codemasters announced that they release Dirt 4 at 6th June 2017. Hype is real! ;) But I am not ordering this game until Tiametmarduk will play this game and showcase us in UA-cam. ;)
try doing full race distance
Try Road America if they have it RA has a good mix of long straightaways with sharp curves
