- Future passenger planes... What will they look like? What is the future of air travel? What new technologies can we expect to see? Well, the future of flying is gonna be amazing! Aircraft designers are currently working on creating much more comfortable conditions for all kinds of travelers and especially long-distance ones.
A long flight may take over 10 or even 15 hours, and all this time all you do is try to position your legs so they don’t become as stiff as tree trunks. And anticipating a jet lag while trying not to go insane from boredom. About time someone should do something about it! Good news: airlines are on it right now!

I don't think that I will want to sleep when flying, I feel like I need to stay alert at all times in case something happens. I do the same when travelling by road, doesn't matter how long the journey is, I stay up the entire trip. For some reason I don't get sleepy
Same here like if there’s a plane crash and your sleeping in a deep sleep it would be harder for the crew
I ONLY sleep when i make sure everything is ok and im safe

I've actually been in a coach that had pockets in the side stacked on top of each other like bunk beds. It's actually really nice because you don't get people bothering you too much and there's a curtain that you can close so you can be alone. You should try it. 😀😀😀

They should make a plane with Vr glasses to where when you put it on it feels as if you are outside the plane. I mean it is already possible the F35 figher jet helmet has build in VR to where you look down you can see thru the floor because of all the cameras outside the plane connecting with the VR headset. Having the same thing inside a plane would be awesome!

I do it all the time.
I want the airplanes to have beds. on overnight airplane rides my family and I often want to sleep but its SO HARD since the seats are not adjustable and stuff like that

guys i have an idea
the problem with batteries are that they don't reduce in weight like the fuel does
all we have to do is fit the batteries with a parachute and remote control system for opening the parachute
then we have to make specific landing points for the batteries
this is advantageous as the batteries don't sit on the airplane simply
they land in airports where they can be recharged and the plane from which the battery came can just add another battery as per the need from the destination

For flights over 8 hours, I wouldn't mind being in a pod versus a regular seat... But I bet the flights that will have these pods will be quite expensive, like flying first class. Even if they had 3 bunks with a sliding door that would be enough too. I mean they could probably still fit 80-100 people on a standard 737 in this configuration.
