Thanks a lot for sharing this lovely video with the rest of the World. I am already planning my next Christmas Markets Holiday for next Year. I am planning to stay 6 nights in Nuremberg and from there go on day trips to Bamburg, Regensburg, Wurzburg, and Augsburg, and then stay for 2 nights in Rothenburg ob der Tauber then go to Munich and stay there for another 3 nights. Where was your base to visit these Christmas Markets? Thanks a lot and Happy New Year. Ben from Malta.
So glad it could be of help! That trip sounds incredible! Long story - we stayed in Gattendorf of all places :) Nuremberg would be a great base, especially if you rely on public transport. Happy new year to you too.
I remember Rothenburg o.d. Tauber well! And, i've seen many videos from you and others travelling there. But, I've never seen any pictures from the City Hall tower. Why not! Isn't allowed to be climbed anymore? That would be very unfortunate.
That would be cool! The town hall was undergoing major renovations when we were there. Hope you’ve been able to do the climb and appreciate the views 🏛️
@@chasingfootprints Indeed! I was up there with my ex! She almost passed out! (It's about 40 meters or 36 yards high!) I went to school there as an aprentice. Learned the theories in metal. The school is long clsed. But, it was where the Max-Plank-Institut is now (if it's still there!) Just around the corner from the Town Hall. I hope you get a chance to go up there!v The view is breath-taking! All the best from Siegen! Alan.

Thank you so much for a lovely video. Rothenburg is one of the most beautiful Towns in Europe and I can’t wait to go back there again !
