f1#4 deals a huge amount of damage, it ticks for quite a lot! I didn't really point that out in the video. Only the burning won't deal considerable damage! :)

Not sure if you have shared this in any of your videos but do you have any options that help guardians specifically (or in general) ? ie ground targeting lock, turn off auto targeting (I think you did mention this regarding using skills for movement), allow skill retargeting, etc.
Don't know what you mean witj specifically!^^ You need some tips for combat? match ups? let me know ;) and the stuff with auto focus - I don't really know, if there is a great opportunity(as guard)to use that mechanic! e.g. warrior can't live without :D
I've noticed your FB builds have varied. Just looking at your other Power FB vids they could Be Zeal - Valor/Virtue - FB ; Radiance - Valor - FB. For sPVP I feel that without Virtue I am too squishy. In this video, I see you list the toughness bonuses of going Valor- Virtue- and FB. Would you recommend using this spec for sPVP?
Power FB in spvp is just ... "not really efficient" - compared to other classes/specs.
You can surely play it in lower ranked tiers (silver/gold), but you won't be able to achiev anything with it in higher tiers.^^
Power FB is awesome for wvw - bunker FB on the other side works great in spvp (lame to play I know haha^^)
Try it out man! If power FB fits your playstyle in spvp, then go for it m8!
And tell me if you found a good build for spvp :D

Haha the bunker FB game play definitely turned me off which was why I was looking for alternatives. I'm pretty new to the game. Just a couple weeks in. Boosted to 80 so still trying to figure out the way I want to play and what profession suites me better. Your videos have have been very helpful.

Just try it out - guardian is a very beginner friendly in any game mode!
And I don't think that you are going to play high ranked tier spvp games in the near future :D If you like it, then play it^^

(just pick something thats really shiny while Ooze is active and skinny too ;D)

i have some question for u, Is Firebrand condi build is good in wvw? and do u recommend using Axe+focus and GS?
-condi firebrand is quite good in wvw, especially in bigger groups! (but it's condi you know ;P)
-if you prefer foc over shield, then go for it! both have their pros and cons! just swap some traits, that should be fine!
im using zeal n radiant n firebrand is tht good? or is it lack of defensive stats?
take zeal only if you play with greatsword and radiant is better with two one handed weapon sets - but I would always pick valor for fury and reduced cd on meditations!

I don't really have a problem with the cc's of spellbreaker (firebrand has waaay more^^) - take the new ultimate mantra and swap the first trait in virtues to the cc break! :)

After watching these vids I am 100% rolling a guardian. Just started playing after not touching the game since closed beta in 2011. I am a mostly PvE player as I don't PvP much but I hope to change that. Sad to see that the meta are mostly Dragonhunter builds (that don't even use longbow). Would you recommend Firebrand for PvE or should I start off leveling Dragonhunter? Thanks for the effort you've put into these!

Condi Firebrand is viable in Pve, power sadly not atm(DH deals way more damage).
Guardian is a very beginner friendly class in general, so it's wise to try guard in pvp :D

Hi! im new in the game and im looking for a PVE build for my firebrand. I usually play alone and i would like to complete all level 80 maps without any help and doing some raid. Can u help me? do u have some good build for me? thanks for the attention :)
If you want to complete the maps, I would suggest u to run a condi build :) You can nearly solo any event with that!
But I'm not sure about raids (I'm not a raid boi :P), you should check out metabattles and look after the builds they have for raids! If there is no damage build for firebrand in raids, then I wouldn't recommend it. If you have more questions, just let me know!^^

I need your opinion. I'm experimenting with it, trying to broaden my source of damage. I can hit for 2k ticks of burning once i pop F1's tome skills, while also being able to deal a near similar damage.
Not really sure about it's effectiveness, since i'm not a very good guardian player.
P.S. Don't mind the back trinket. It's all i had on my guard, and i can't be arsed to changed it.

All in all, it looks quite good. Healing mantra is to weak atm. (take meditaion - low cast time, you got more than enough to cast!). Also the trait with 10% more dmg to tragets in symbols is weak in pvp/wvw - take the aegis shatter, you have so mich access to aegis, it would be a waste! If you lack survivalbility, take "zealous blade" in zeal trait line. Use this food wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Oysters_with_Spicy_Sauce , instead of the vitality bonus! :)
Build should be pretty good then!^^
What sigils do you want to use?
I only use Symbolic Avenger for the extra toughness to power it provides. As for the mantra healing, you're probably right. I mostly use it as quick condi clear, failing to notice the cooldown that smiter's boon has *facepalm*. Plus it pretty much heals more than mantra with monk's focus traited.
That aegis shatter thing looks interesting though. But the damage doesn't seem that exciting. I'll still test it out.
