If you have access to a gym, the most obvious solution is to combine calisthenics with traditional resistance training (free-weights and machines) in your exercise routines.
I've worked in the fitness industry for 20 years and as a personal trainer myself, the whole "calisthenics vs weights" debate seems counterintuitive to me.
There's nothing wrong with either focusing primarily on calisthenics for a while, focusing primarily on traditional resistance training for a while or combining them both equally.

Love the Collaboration! One misconception is that many people expect calisthenics to build the muscle that looks like the gym one. However, everyone who trains calisthenics should shift the focus to strength increase, the muscle definition would come along the way and the looks will depend on individual genetics!

Scientifically the RPE8 is the best metric to continuously overload, while cycling deload weeks and often RPE9 to shock the muscle, and far far less often RPE10, to test the muscles but you should be looking more towards what you can recover from versus what you can achieve because if you can drive your way through a 10 and you can't do anything for a week or two then did you really succeed. 8 is best, 9 is a healthier intensity, 7 is for learning new skills/techniques/patterns

@@SaturnoMovement yeah what people can do with Peak Performance and their training is not as important as what they can recover from because if you participate in the sport or a training modality and you can only last about five years but other people can do about 30 years, you would likely want to adhere to what the 30-year person has to say

Just kinda goes to a very basic principle you can't escape. Take the exercise to failure. Building muscle is simply the action of hurting your muscles on purpose in a safe controlled manner so they re grow stronger. You can take all these exercises to failure without weights, but it's gonna take a lot longer.
