This is the first proof of concept for Ib that actually seems somewhat viable. Every other combo list is some crazy 14 min combo that requires 17 garnets and dies to every hand trap in the game. For this build it looks more like something worth experimenting with and working into actual functioning decks like runick generaider
Duality would be a decent addition to dodge some handtraps but overall, the Rev Synchron/Ghost Girl build has far more starters and plays through everything better with a better endboard
Just a random headsup that many people overlook. You cannot handrip with Harr during the Drawphase. You must wait until the Standby to use Jorm for the handrip.
I dont think it was mentioned but since you have Trias in the graveyard that is another interruption in the form of a destroy and possibly a draw 2 as well if you have generaider boss stage
Diabel summon rocket salamander - rocket salamander summons screw serpent - make ib and search monstrosity - runick spell summon geri and go for crocodragon for a lvl 9 target.
This is a great starter but I don’t think it’s good for this deck specifically. We’re using diviner either way for Vala so diviner is the best one to use. However I will be using it for world chalice, video should either be up tomorrow or after christmas!
I think I like the Revolution Synchron idea better personally. Searchable by Tuning ofc, the line is just ns RS, summon Hugin (get Fountain here if you want), make Ib and search Monstrocity. Activate Fountain (if searched earlier), summon Munin (and draw 2 if no more Runicks in hand), make Diabolantis. Diabolantis sends Mardel, Revolution to revive itself and synchro up to Cloudcastle. Can probably figure out the rest from there.
I am Revolution Synchrons biggest defender. However diviner has more application in the deck since it can also send Vala which means it gets you access to a tuner or engine. But I could see the Rev lines being fine for sure Thanks for watching (:
This is a tough choice to figure out which line is better, if they hugin gives you ash bait , for a few and clear monstrosity, diviner allows flexibility with vala but if it gets ashed your pretty much done, if they droll hugin your done
Hm, this is interesting, I also attempted using Ib in Generaider, but I was going for Diabellestarr engine with Jet Synchron, which also gets me Baronne, but it also felt a bit awkward, since I also had Revolution Synchron and Tuning. Just Diabellestarr engine would've probably been better, but yours is even better, since you don't even add any engine, you just get the Tuner in a fairly normal combo anyway. I would also say, for this deck, Laevateinn is better than S:P, since attach is definitely stronger than banish + we can just attach 2+ cards from our opponent, it is not limited to monsters like S:P's 2nd effect, they can't just run over the monster, since it's not weak like S:P, we can just do it whenever, we don't have to use I:P to get the banish on the opponent's turn etc. It's just better.
Yeah I’ve been messing around with the wanted package for Ib in other decks and it feels a bit mid. Maybe that’ll be different with populus. I agree Laev is stronger than S:P, and I want to play 2. It’s just hard to overlook the value S:P brings in runick specifically when breaking boards going 2nd. But you could 100% cut it. Thanks for watching (:
@@aegisygo7406 Was a great watch, so gladly. :) I get the idea with S:P for boardbreaking, but to get her out with Runick, you still need some other monster, so you would have to sacrifice something that you will need for your combo anyways, since you can't have 2 Runick Fusions on the field at the same time(under normal circumstances), so you need to use your other monsters for it. I do see where you are coming from though, thanks, I did overlook that option, it allows you to get access to removal slightly earlier, while not being reliant on drawing any in-engine cards and/or using effects(besides the 1 Runick Spell). Good insight.
So basically Ib enables another 3 card combo( the 1st being boss stage, runick spell, WLM) but in order to do so you need to make space for 2 cards in the extra deck. I would definitely keep the baronne somehow in the extra, random main decked Nibirus can ruin a perfect hand. Maybe S:P should go? Also I think 2nd Laevatein over Munin is way better
Yeah the extra is incredibly tight, I personally like the munin because of the going into time benefits but also the diviner being handtrapped lines. But yeah I’d want a baronne in the deck and the 2nd Lev it’s just finding the space. S:P could easily could out but I feel like it’s just so good in runick decks especially when going 2nd.
@@aegisygo7406I thought about it playing against the deck (my friend likes it). Even knowing about the munin ahead of time, the fact I cannot handtrap the diviner is really rough. Yeah I can just imperm ib or ash monstrosity, but that still lets him set up trias, threaten to go into baronne if he changes the extra a bit, or even send valla when his hand is full generaider
The problem with upstart in this list specifically if you’re playing runick so you don’t have a battle phase. Giving your opponent extra life is just going to lead you to lose in time. Like game 1 it could be beneficial, you optimise your deck and do what you want more consistently but by the time you get to game 3 you just lose due to the life gain. Imo it’s not worth it. And finding space for it would be very difficult. Thanks for watching the video!
Recommend cutting the utopics to end on SP instead since she can banish the card your opponent sent off Harr and now you have two free extra deck slots! Like Diabolantis and Barrone
@@red_back5382 LOL. No, most combos don't hard fold to ash, imperm, droll, AND nibiru. Usually just a couple of those. Full bystial runick loses to imperm only. :)
I’m struggling to see how it loses to a single handtrap If you get handtrapped you just adjust the line. Imperm/ash/veiler on diviner? Summon munin with the runick spell make IB. Ash on monstrosity? Still can make rank 9 and more with the other 2 cards in hand. Scared of nibiru? Keep the Haar up longer and play around it. If you’re saying this specific line with its intricacies isn’t possible through a handtrap, you’re correct. But that’s because that’s how combos work.
Jormun is draw than attach to Jormun, but since it makes your opponent draw it triggers har which when your opponent adds a card from deck to hand can make your opponent send a monster from field or hand to the gy so that's the rip

Noted. Thanks for the comment (:
As soon as I saw Ib in the limited list and looked up what it does, this was the first deck I thought of. Excellent profile!
Thank you!

Harr doesn’t rip in the draw phase btw
Very true
@@aegisygo7406 just do it in SP instead.

Thanks to Ib the World Chalice Justiciar that Runick Generaider is completed and it is in the peak level deck right now.

I think rev line is better just cause ain’t no one running ghost belle or crow in the main and you can’t bystial rev synchron
8:04 you can’t use Harr in draw phase so Jormungander should be in standby or something
Been trying to slap ib into mekk-knight (with various levels of success) Cool to see some other ib stuff
I’ve got people cooking this as we speak!
Thanks for watching (:
wondering if you or anyone else has played around with a draconnet package instead of the diviner, im unsure which one is more viable.
I would like to see some replays of this deck.

I don't know, it's weird if you have 2 runicks to not draw with fountain.
There are plenty of combos where you do draw with fountain this one specifically just doesn’t

said this EXACT thing to a friend when i saw the list lmao
This deck looks so cool. I just wish there was a way to add a bit more non-engine into it.
I get that but the runick cards imitate them quite well I think

couldn't you summon the mardel off the monstrosity add boss stage and use boss stage to summon vala when using jorm eff
Can’t summon Mardel off Monstrosity cause it’s same attribute as Sleipnir.

@TruePartyKing I mean, that's cool but Utopic is still the standard for the deck. If you want to add S:P there's other cards you can cut for it
Won’t this deck struggle g2nd with just two handtraps?
It shouldn’t do since every runick card is essentially non engine we can use to break boards

so uh. this line loses to literally every handtrap?

Jormun is draw than attach to Jormun, but since it makes your opponent draw it triggers har which when your opponent adds a card from deck to hand can make your opponent send a monster from field or hand to the gy so that's the rip
lol this guys is something else, clearly you don’t read bud, harr rips a monster on any card added to hand besides the inherent draw. What a d**k
You should retire at yugioh lol it’s not checkers and normal summoning and crayons like you are used to.
clearly you didn't read harr but don't worry, yugioh players like yourself don't read
