CCAS / Summer STEM Academy / 2018

Our Summer STEM Academy focused on robotics and problem solving to simulate the professional experience of engineers in a community of practice. Using TI calculators and accessories, or VEX Robotics kits, students learn programming and a structural understanding of robots, using elements like sensors and microcontrollers. The students work on complex challenges based on the class they are taking. In addition to working with robots, integrated lessons in literacy and math support the work students do in engineering.
