Shalimar Cologne and Shalimar Eau De Cologne are two different things. Shalimar Eau De Cologne is the original scent from 1925, but Shalimar Cologne is a flanker created in 2015, and is supposed to be lighter and more citrus/floral smelling, and has a note of grapefruit :)
I wear the regular Souffle in spring, summer, and early fall. I wear the Lumiere in the summer. I really love the dry down of the regular Souffle. To me it is so comforting. The Lumiere reminds me of lemon ice cream. Lumiere is summer in a bottle to me because my family always made homemade lemon ice cream. You're making me want the orange- I was scared to blind but it because I'm not a huge fan of neroli, but I might just do it!
I love your descriptions 😍 and they are spot on. The d’orangier is very neroli-heavy to me...so you might want to sample first but it’s so bright and juicy that I can’t get enough of it!
Great collection! Have you tried the Shalimar Cologne EDT (not the Eau de Cologne that you have)? It is SO good! More on the gourmand side like a lemon cookie. It is available at discounters if you want to try it out and haven't already.

I love my Shalimar EDT but like you said, only in the colder months. Or when I'm alone, with the A/C on! :). I'd love to try one of the Soufflé's for warmer weather. Thanks for the information. Have a good week ahead!
I love Shalimar Souffle. I agree it is spring, summer scent. Go look for the peacock bottle, it is a clear bottle with a peacock on it . Beautiful and will not get "lost" like the dark bottle in your collection.

Try the Intense version of Souffle. It's like the original but with some more depth due to the incense note in it. Am going to try to pick up a full bottle of it this fall.

I used to own the regular edt and it smelled like burnt tires in the opening but beautiful powdery vanilla in the drydown. Its like youth dew on me I have to suffer through a horrible opening for the good stuff in the drydown. I think im going to try the cologne after because I am hoping I don't get the rubber tire feel from it.

Shalimar is such a classic. I’ve tried to become friends with it, but we just don’t get along 😀. The only one I like from this range is Soufflé 😍
