Nice job on the spawning effect of the enemy. A thing I notice , but maybe in game it's fine, I feel like your wall doesn't contrast enough with the background. So you could add a thin grey layer on the outside or a changing layer between color you feel like match with the rest of the game
A slow cool down melee attack would be great for when enemies get too close. Or maybe something that pushes them back, if you are very intent on archery only. Some type of small AOE attack just for those sticky situations when they are close - dope work!

I have two bits of feedback: - Projectiles that follow enemies usually just give up if they don't hit anything in a second or so, that's why in most games they don't circle enemies until thy hit them. - I was going to suggest adding a background and then I noticed the game *does* have a background, it's just almost impossible to see unless I really turn up the brightness (sun hits my screen directly). I hate this sort of changes in my games since it looks fine for me, but it's important that everyone is able to see where walls are. Maybe keep this as a "dark mode".

And a cool mechanic that probably don't can be made for now is combine the effects of tho arrows: pierce + explosion -> first the arrow pierce enemys and walls and after some distance transform in the explosive arrow
Hello there! I just found your games and love the art styles, I myself am trying to learn how to code and have an enemy idea. An enemy that is able to dissapear and reappear so it's harder to hit. How it would work is it would shrink a bit and explode into particles, then a few would be left behind and move in place of the enemy, in that state the enemy is unable to hit and it itself is unable to attack. After a few seconds it would reappear in a similar way as it disappears. It would most likely only disappear when farther away but hey, an Idea is an idea.
I can suggest several ideas, just like Captain Obvious. :D 1. Create a slow and powerful arrow that inflicts high damage. 2. Design an arrow that splits into two or maybe three shards before impact. 3. Develop a slowing arrow that confuses enemies, causing them to attack each other. 4. Invent a blinding arrow that impairs the vision of your foes. 5. Consider a glue arrow that binds enemies together. 6. How about a rocket launcher arrow that causes a small explosion and releases arrows flying in all directions?
A cool idea for an enemy would be one that doesn't attack at all but instead buffs the other enemies nearby Maybe they would be a more late game enemy or would only spawn in obelisks
U might want to consider giving the enemies a slight delay before shooting after geetting spawned in the obelisks since they shoot instantly after the particles are removed
maybe a neat idea to keep the game fresh each time you replay it could be a place or reward that lets you combine two kinds of arrows, if you make more different kinds it could lead to more fun combinations and experimentation, but i would also be difficult to balance, just a thought
is there going to be items in the game? because if so i think it would be cool if when you kill an enemy they have a rare chance of dropping a buff of some sort and bosses could drop new bows that do more damage or something like that
This game looks great! Just one thing I want to say, the walls are almost invisible, I'm watching this at night, and only when you zoomed out to shot the objects you needed to activate I understood that there's walls, try changing their HUE towards red.
I would have made your arrows not inherit from a base class but use an interface called IArrow that has all of the functions in it. Then anything can be an arrow type.
I just stumbled across your channel and ive been loving it btw if any1 reading this has any idea how I could make a homing projectile it would be really helpful , I been struggling to do so for like 3 days 💀
normal arrows should do more damage OR "reload" the damage bar faster because unless you want to implement storage : normal arrows will always be the weakest
I think it would be cool if the obelisks' particles for the enemies had the same colors as the enemy they're going to spawn

Yeah i was just thinking that... it kinda seems a little claustrophobic and annoying when the enemies close the distance

I think that the spawn particles shoud first como from the obelisk, and when one of the enemys die them return, maybe in blue color

It would be cool to be able to select upgrades for your character like double shot (with drawbacks off course like less dmg)

You could make an enemy type that blocks your first attack, so you can't always use the charged arrow. You have to spam it.
