    Martina said exactly what needed to be brought to light , All of the women in the WNBA have to realize that they all have to perform at the best of there beings in order to build there program across the country and the World . But after there fans have showed up in the numbers the numbers that they have , All they see is HATE / HATE/ HATE , against the one person that lite the fire for the WNBA . Then there are the others young new ladies that are getting the rewards because of her hard work over the years as all of they did also , but it's so important to STOP THE HATE and play the game that all of you Love . Now with this said do all of you HATERS want to make More Money then you have ever dreamed of , Then STOP the HATE and play the game you all Love and everyone will prosper , The Fans are waiting for the HATE to stop and see the game the way it should be played ! Thank you all Ladies for giving Us fans another Women's sport to watch .

    I've heard talk of new rules - NO. I've heard talk about protecting Caitlin - NO There are currently all the rules necessary. It is not about new rules, it is about enforcing the rules that already exist. It is to about protecting any one player, it is about protecting ALL the players. After the hip shoulder check that knocked Caitlin down, a player on the bench got up and cheered. Where was the coach. Who should have deemed that not sportsmanlike. Should have sent that player to the showers, then and there. Sure in the heat of battle sometimes emotion takes over, but this was not even in battle. This was after the fact.

    Caitlyn Clark on the USA Olympic team would have provided the rookie with invaluable experience for the future. Her fame is a distraction? She will miss a few practices because of her WNBA schedule? And we get Britany Grimer? A women who, while representing smuggled drugs into Russia, was prosecuted, convicted and sentenced to 9 years in prison? And our country,the one she said she would never stand for the anthem had to do a prisoner exchange with Russia to get her home? The SAME women who has a broken toe and hasn’t played but one game this entire YEAR and is still on the injury list? Oh, yea. The final decision was made because some of the other players might not LIKE her? I’m boycotting. I’m boycotting any of their sponsors. I’m ashamed of those women. Ashamed that Caitlyn won’t have the same mentorship that Nancy Lieberman extended to them. Ashamed that their fragile egos couldn’t take another generational player who broke their college record. WNBA needs to clean house. USA Olympics needs a new coaching staff.

    Cue the violins and the water-works😢🎻
    Someone get Clarke and Marina a Kleenex … had no idea Marina was such a wuss
    I blame the Fever coach, [back]Sides (gottah love that name) for not untilizing her players to the best of their abilities; Aliyah Boston has much better resume than Clarke and she actually has a ring; and yet, the coach had her on the bench a lot at first. Then, when she realized Clarke wasn’t what they had hoped, she started putting Boston in. Still players weren’t passing to Boston, it took a while for them to start using Boston as they should, and with that they finally began to win.
    I do not believe players are gonna target Clarke and let Aliyah put up the numbers she has, numbers I might add, that Clarke has yet to achieve in the WNBA.
    That’s a major dilemma with humans, we refuse to face and accept ‘what is;’ if it doesn’t fit with the image we want portrayed, if it doesn’t fit a preferred narrative we pretend to forget or not know or see.
    SUCH BS

    Well, though Martina is gay, this is not the first time she made common sense comments which pissed off the "woke" gay community. She has taken them to task for trans people playing in women's sports. The fact that Navratilova felt she should speak out suggests to me that there are a lot of "woke" gay people in the WNBA who think differently, who like the way that the pretty heterosexual white girl from the suburbs has gotten her "comeuppance" from the gay women from the hood. Just sayin'.

      What I get is that the WNBA players feel that they already deserve the attention that Caitlin brought to the table. So they are trying to prove that and seeking to grab the spotlight in various ways, and I don't blame them for that. However, if the refs just called the fouls that would
      make all the difference, but the refs suck and seem to reflect the overall WNBA culture, which is really negative.

  • @cinattra
    @cinattra 23 дні тому +7

    Basketball despite popular opinion is a contact sport. It was physical before CC and it will be physical after she leaves. The media showing one or two hard fouls out of a 40-minute game is pushing a narrative. Stop blaming players when the refs should do their jobs and call the fouls and if necessary the league should issue out fines.

Now you have one. Do not complain just because you are not the center of attention. Just be good enough to be then center of attention. SUCK IT UP, WOMEN.
