I know a lot of people think he's an asshole but I think he's just extremely bored with predictable cliche bullshit soo much that he can't help but be a smart ass. An honest response would mentally hurt. I wish more people were as open and expressive as him.

There are not that many new male singers today who carry this kind of energy. Not a lot of them trolling the press or dominating the crowd like Patton. They’re all pretty boys who have cookie cutter personalities.

Never a dull moment when Pattons on stage. When Tomahawk came to a festival here in Australia, he pulled the water hose off one of the guys and sprayed a heckler full force with it for a good two minutes.This was after the whole band came out in fishing clothes.

I also saw FNM in Melbourne, and at the end of the show he went THANK YOU SYDNEY - which was hilarious.

I saw Mike Patton with Mr. Bungle on their California tour. And I just remember being in awe the whole time. I couldn't take my eyes of the craziness and magic happening on the stage.

My best Patton moment occurs during a 1991 tv show/concert in Chile. They had the brilliant idea to bring FNM to a very corny music festival (very popular in the past in latin america). Turns out he walks the entire festival stage, lied face down in some musician chairs for long and screamed gutural to the host of the show. I saw faith no more open up for Metallica and Guns and Roses at RFK stadium in D.C. I am sorry to say they were horrible! I just remember the whole place booing them off the stage!

Dillinger Escape Plan got booed opening for Metallica too. That doesn't really mean much.
Most of this was funny but he can burn in hell for making fun of Hilel Slovak dying of an overdose. Not long after the peppers had headlined a tour and totally cut Faith No More out, and theyll even say themselves that it ruined their career. Hilarious stuff.
Didn't ruin their career, but Anthony did it for many different reasons and not one was of the Od of Hilel Slovak bc Mike just did not say anything about it.
It wasn't FNM it was Bungle that RHCP.. actually it was Anthony K, had removed from various festivals and it didn't ruin Bungle but really fucked up sales of their new album at the time, California.
