The first one I feel was the prettiest on all 3 gals. It fit them nice and snug and the top was really cute and different from what I expected a typical wedding dress to look like
I feel like dress #2 was like a first layer for a better dress, you know? It didn't do any of them justice.

I wish they had chosen a wider range of dress shapes. These all seemed pretty similar but with different fabrics.

I got a wedding jumpsuit and a wedding dress from Torrid when they had a sale, so it was like $50 each :O
not the style I want for my wedding but I thought maybe good for like a 'pre-wedding' event like a bridal shower and/or any outdoor photoshoot that I wouldnt wanna risk a pricey dress on :P

I got married in 2000. At that time, I was a 24. Only ONE bridal shop in my area had plus sized dresses, two. They had TWO dresses. So, I chose the dress I hated the least. I wanted Renee our vows just so I can get a dress that I love.
So I have no room to fat shame as I'm a big plus size myself. But what you wear under a dress can make or break the look of the dress. I dont think they had the right under clothes for the dresses they were trying on. Beautiful ladies beautiful dresses.

I admittedly got married in a torrid dress, and I L O V E D it! I had a really negative experience at a bridal shop, and returned everything and went to Torrid. I got the one with the crazy long sleeves :3

Pro-tip from a plus-size forner bride. If you go to a mainstream bridal store (David's etc) size WAAAY up. The average wedding dress is FOUR SIZES above what size you would normally wear.
Agreed. It is insane. I went to David's and I had to try on dresses in a 16/18 when I normally wear a 10/12 in other dresses and clothes. It made me feel less than comfortable since I was so confused the whole time.
Interesting.. I brought my wedding dress from David bridal. I got a sample dress in my size (24) off the rack and it was nearly perfect.
@@plumpcosplay8562 that was an issue for me as well! So the sample size is way different than the ones that are made
If anything, know your measurements instead. Honestly it helps combat the freak out of the clothing size going up or down - you already know it's differs by brand in style but idk, knowledge is comfort

I totally got my Wedding dress at Torrid for my wedding in 2016. I was happy and it was affordable and perfect for the backyard venue. Had the same lace as dress #1.

I got married in a Torrid wedding dress in 12/2019 and I loved my dress! It was the tea length ivory lace dress. It fit wonderfully, it looked amazing, and felt amazing! Plus I didn’t spend $1000+ on something I wore for 5 hours

They all looked amazing in all the dresses. I almost got the last dress when I got married, but found one I loved more. One of my bridesmaids got her dress at Torrid though. Love that store.

I loved the first dress. The third one needs a sash. Just below the bust. Which you could always get in your wedding colors or just white.
Dress #1 was my actual wedding dress, lol.

I love those options. They're all pretty cheap too (for a wedding dress; I don't like paying more than $50 on an everyday dress lol), so you could do a budget wedding. OR use these as a base to do something super colourful and shiny. Maybe dye or paint the fabric, add glitter, even add lights if you wanted.
None of those options seem compatible with an actual heavy duty bra though. I've currently got a simple white dress I found for $10 at one of those "vintage shops" (aka "high end"/over priced second hand shop) that would be the dress I'd pick to wear if I had someone to get married to right now. But it's on the pile of white clothes to tie dye, because I can't wear white without attracting allll the food stains.

I got my wedding dress from torrid it was worth it I loved it and affordable. I had tried dresses at couple others stores. The sizing was way off and I didn’t feel great in them.
