We got amazing gems like the Megaman OSTs, the original Final Fantasy theme which set the stage for the entire franchise of music to follow, practically every Mario game pays homage to the original NES theme. It had classics, not just in the games themselves but in the immense amount of music that came from them.
This brings me right back to that hot summer of 1992. no air conditioning, just a giant box fan blowing on me so I didn't overheat while I played this.
If you know the 5 countries of NY (we call them boroughs) you'll know how fast Queens is from Brooklyn. I traveled over an hour to my friend's house in Queens so I could spend the weekend and we could work on beating this game. Eventually even his dad got into it!
I've always love the simplicity coupled with the cue of the music. No additional details needed. You know what game series you're playing. You know who you're playing as. You know the objective. You know the drill. You know why you're there. Simply put, no introduction is needed. It's Mega Man 3 babyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

No, I don't want an extended version. No, I don't want a remix. I want the original! Thank you so much for posting this! I listen to this song on loop while doing homework and it actually helps me concentrate for some reason. I love the song, but my favorite part is the first 30 secs and the extended versions make me wait 15 mins before I can hear the best part of the song again. the way the title has its transition from the license alongside with this music is just waaaaaaaaaaay too perfect. I know it is so simple and there are other videogames with big ass graphics and tons of orchesta but still this is my favorite intro both visually and musically and I still don't understand how this intro beats anyone else

Megaman 2 introduced me into the series and It was a fun time. But god damn 3 is my favorite so far. Good levels, great design of the Robot Masters and one hell of a soundtrack. Seriously, everytime i hear this my mind knows I'm gonna have fun.

they were both equally great to me, especially the music soundtracks, but definitely the gameplay/graphics - 2 for its novelty and 3 for even better gameplay than the previous, like the crucial addition of the powerslide, going faster up ladders, etc. glad you enjoyed B-)
