MobileReviewsEh is the best, most unbiased phone case reviewer on UA-cam - no one else even comes close. I don't even use Apple products and am an Android user, which means a lot of these cases don't have Android phone versions, but these reviews are so solid that I'll still watch the videos because some of the manufacturers do have cases for Android phones. That's so much I like this channel.
I love your videos, but for me the best case is the one that offers the best protection. So maybe you can show some drop tests? It would be nice to see something like that from reviewers that aren't trying to sell their own cases.
Based on your advice, I ended up buying the Limitless 4.0 and Flolab screen protector for my new iPhone 13. They both came in today and I can’t believe the fit, comfort of use and protection they offer. I’ll be recommending them both along with your channel to anyone I know in search of phone protection and accessories.
I wanted to thank you for this review. After much consideration I have decided to go with rhino guard. The bumper case is absolutely amazing, and the look and feel on the iPhone it’s self it’s also great. I do like the open back and how well he lets me use all my magsafe accessories. Your channel is fantastic. Thank you so much for spending your own money for our amusement and for being 100% legit with your reviews and not getting influenced. Keep rocking out.
I bought the Mous Limitless 4.0- You can tell it’s a really well-built case, but I only made it 48 hours with it on my phone. The issue I had was it was as slippery as a wet bar of soap, it literally had no grip at all. The second issue was I wasn’t convinced the camera cut out would actually protect the camera if I dropped the phone. The lip seemed awfully close to the same height as the camera. Fantastic video, love your content!
I tried casetify's transparent magsafe phone case, and after a month of use, cracks appeared at the back when I try to pit it on, mainly because the magsafe module caused a lot of weak points in the hard plastic back cover. I highly not recommend buying casetify's magsafe transparent case. To be honest, I feel disappointed, especially at this price : (
if you dont care about thickness, go for the otterbox defender. if you kinda care about thickness, go commuter. if you really care about thickness, otterbox might not be the best option
Hi, I just wanted to congratulate you with your indepth and whitty reviews. Based upon your comments I've ordered the Casetify cover for my iphone 13 pro. It was supposed to be shipped out this week, but today I received a simple message that it will take another month to deliver due to production problems, without any option to cancel or a commercial discount. I have asked to cancel the order as I want to use my phone sooner. I'll keep you posted on how customer centric they are. Keep making magic, Philip
I would love to see you guys testing the Mous Infinity as well as the Clarity case in your top clear cases video. I‘m also very interested in a comparison between the top regular, clear, and slim cases. Especially drop protection wise. Love your videos. Keep it up🙏
In my experience, the Magbak case starts off very slick (I actually returned my first one for the 12PM having already had one for my old XR that I loved). But after trying another 15 cases I went back to the mag bak and just stuck it out and now it’s much grippier and very easy to use. But I do wish it was as rigid as the apple silicone. Regarding Casetify…..after one day of using the back was so scratched up that I returned it. Spending $80 on case only to have it scratched up in 24 hours was unacceptable. I’ve also tried the mous but one handed use was much harder due to slick sides and back and the extra bulk.
I’m so glad you said that about casetify. I’m looking for a protective case but I do want cute. Casetify is pricey for the 13 promax unless you settle for the compostable. I’ve got sneaky kids who play on my phone and I need safety for this expensive bad boy!
I think you need to reference how grippy the cases are. I have tried the Mous and the Casetify based upon your recommendations, but ended up going back to Spigen Ultra hybrid (especially since they have MagSafe that is color matched to your iPhone - much better than white on a clear case). I know it may not be as protective, but it is ‘grippy’ and doesn’t want to slide out of my hands like the Mous and Casetify.
I used your link and just ordered two cases, screen protectors, the charger and some other stuff from Maus. Thank you for the discount code. Saved me $45. On top of the bundle discount. I had to go with your top case. I love protection and style. Still…it would have been nice to have a case where I can see the beautiful blue iphone color. Oh well, maybe I’ll go back and get the clear case too.
I watched this video like 4 times and finally decided on the rhinoshield because I just couldn’t bring myself to spend $80 on the casetify even though I loved my previous casetify case. $80 just seems insane for a phone case to me. I was expecting the rhinoshield to be more grippy than it is and it’s just not. I do love having the back exposed for my magsafe pop wallet and I know you have proved this case right be very protective but I just wish the texture of the case was better and made my phone easier to handle. I appreciate your channel so much. Thanks, eh.
If I'm going to throw a case on a device with iconic branding, I want the case to have the same. That's why I like Apple and Otterbox cases. I tend to go with Otterbox for toughness and their cases are sort of a household name after all these years.
If you get the OtterBox Defender XT, there’s a little slip of paper in it with a code you can use to claim a free belt clip. It might not be there, but they did that with the iPhone 12.
Thank you for these reviews. I was struggling to figure out what case to get. I've been an Otterbox loyalist for a long time, and I just ordered a Mous case (used your affiliate link and got a discount! That was very cool). I've always disliked how chunky Otterbox cases are so it was great to see the slimmer Mous case stand up to the kinds of clumsy shit my phone endures. I also checked out your video on camera lens protectors. Thank you for showing how damage-resistant the lenses are. Your channel saved me close to $50 with affiliate links and showing me the products I don't actually need. I really appreciate that.
Great video! Really much effort and much fun to watch you. Can you do a video with the best-in-class slim cases for the iPhone 13 series? Most of your cases are really making the iPhone a big brick 😉
The only thing I dislike about the Mous 4.0 is how sharp the case is where the sides meet the back. I wish that was rounded off a little more so it was more comfortable to hold.
@@thewishmastur I’d say it would offer more protection than most cases. It’s very hard to get off your phone once it’s on, more than other cases, and the lip for the screen is much taller than other cases. It was just too uncomfortable for me to hold and no one talked about that. It stayed on my phone for two days.
@@jaypandya913 if MagSafe accessories were cheaper I’d buy into it but right now they drop off easily and cost too much. It seems like an in progress feature to me at least.
Thank you! I have bought 3 cases for my 13 pro max so far and cant seem to find what I am looking for. Wish I would have seen this video before wasting money. Ive now ordered my Mous Limitless(from your link.)
Appreciate another wonderful and helpful review of cases. I for one am most thankful for the hard work you two put into the review process. Funny ending :-)
I bought the Mous Limitless 4.0 for my new IPhone 13 Pro Max and it’s probably the best case I’ve ever had on a phone. It’s really protective but still slim and feels great in the hand, I highly recommend the speckled fabric because it’s quite grippy. It just feels really well designed and made.
On the speckled back (I got it for the 11s and they were leather back then so I'm not sure if they really made it into a fabric) the edges of it got smooth after a while and looked funny
@@franciscojuarez8326 this time it’s actual fabric that has been has a rubberised finish. It feels really nice in the hands but time will only tell to see how it wears. If it lasts a year I’ll be happy, I’m used to the Apple leather cases and I have never had a case last more than a year.
I like the Apple transparent case with MagSafe, the thing protects my phone well enough, it's grippy, it shows the beautiful blue of the iPhone 13 Pro, it shows the shiny sides, it's relatively thin, and it protects the screen because it sticks out a bit in the front. What's wrong with it?
I’d love to see a review on ESR’s cases. Their Air Armor interests me. Half joking, half seriously would also like to see reviews on Walmart’s ONN brand cases. Their IPhone 13 Pro MagSafe cases look beefy.
After using the Mouse case for ~2 years I gotta admit the amount of protection its given my phone is phenomenal. I've dropped my phone many times over the years, some of which were from pretty high up (8-10 ft.), and my phone is still good as new. I also really like the aesthetic and the accessories that you can buy with it. The only thing I really dislike about the Mous case is that I find the case to be rather slippery. The sides of the case are not very grippy and I found myself needing to buy a pop socket due to occasionally dropping the phone due to the grip. I do think these drops were due to the non grippy sides because previously I had the DBrand case with grippy sides and found myself dropping the phone less often during the time I had it.
The reviews from this reviewer are believable because of the clear, articulate presentations; the decisive methodology of the rating scale; and the extensive care and attention towards delivering a trusted review. I’ll let you know how I liked the Mous Limitless 4.0! Thank you!
Just got my mous in the mail today for my 13 pro max. I watched the 12 video to get a baseline. Also saw your drop test and others dropping it out of a helicopter. Can’t wait to use it. It looks so nice too. I of coarse used your link. Thanks for all you guys do to make it easy on us.
I think it’s incredibly weird that they keep saying their phone spends most of its “charging time” while using MagSafe. However I personally don’t ever put it on its face to use MagSafe. Whether I use the MagSafe or MagSafe Duo from Apple either way I lay it flat on its back
I’m disappointed they didn’t have Pitaka on this list. It maybe the fact they might not have the case yet to test but it would’ve been nice if they had it as an honorable mention until they had it.
I'd really love to see the rankings of every case y'all have reviewed. If you aren't already doing it, you should at least have that available for your patreon subscribers. Keep up the great work!
I appreciate this thorough video very much! I like your top pick very much! However, I’ve seen at least one case use air vents and heat dissipating materials to help keep the phone cool during use and charging. My hope is that keeping the phone cooler may help preserve battery capacity over the life of the device. I would love to hear thoughts about how much of a difference this could make. Did you consider heat in your review?
@@ffsurji I doubt you meant to post this as a reply on my comment, but in the spirit of being helpful… I bought the mous case with fabric back. It’s not very grippy/sticky, but it’s much better than the smooth plastic of my previous case.
Awesome review. Crazy how much money you spend and time you put into these videos and it doesn’t go unnoticed. Thanks for all your advice Over the years.
I’ve bought a couple of Mous cases in the past. I would agree with basically everything you said, I probably trust them the most of any case. That being said, it’s also the case that finds itself in my “Not being used case basket” instead of on my iPhone. Why? - Mainly because it makes my iPhone feel like a giant heavy brick. I always end up going back to my beloved Rhinoshild bumper style case. Super lightweight, and they take one hell of a beating. Yes the back is exposed, so if I had a lose stone driveway, then my phone would be forever in a Mous case. But, I have pavement everywhere, and the Rhinoshield has protected my phone against multiple drops on pavement with no issues.
I have had both the Crash NX (bumper) and Solid Suit. I had the bumper case with a glass screen protector that protects the back. When it was clean it was great and looked cool (red iPhone) but it was like a bar of soap and after dropping it several times the bumper stretched out and came off the phone easily. The Solid Suit handles a little better but the sides are still slippery. Dropped too many times and this one stretched out to the point that where the buttons barely worked. That said it really protected both phones really well but if they weren’t so damn slippery I wouldn’t need that much protection.
Would you recommend one back finish of the limitless 4.0 over another? Ie. arimid fiber vs wood vs leather etc. Thanks both for your work on these videos!
Nicely done, however would love if you could include the weight of each case after putting it on the iPhone. Ask we carry around the phone whole day, weight becomes a good deciding factor
So I bought both the Limitless 4.0 (#1) and the Otterbox Defender XT (#10) to try out on my 13 Pro Max. I kept the Otterbox. First off, I got it at Walmart at the same price as the limitless 4.0. Secondly, it was built like an absolute Sherman tank compared to the limitless, which felt “whimpy” in comparison. I’m hard on my phones so fall protection is my #1 priority. Seems like everyone is absolutely bashing Otterbox this year for a bunch of different reasons. It’s why I look at reviews as a guide and not an edict. Anyway, thanks for the review and at least including the Defender in the review.
i know you guys didn’t like the peel case in the past because it felt like any other cheap case, but they came out with a hard clear case and i was wondering if it was any better, as an iphone user who doesn’t like to use cases i feel like it is a good option for people who don’t need a lot of protection
Appreciate the real reviews. I purchased the iPhone 13 Pro Max and bought a couple cases and accessories based on your reviews. Looking forward to the wallet review. I already purchased the Magbak Wallet and love it! But I am interested in some of the newer ones as well like the distil union wallet or the ridge for MagSafe.
😊I bought a Chanel and a Dior phone case for $60. They look great. Although they are replicas, they are really beautiful. I can match them with them.love it❤️❤️❤️❤️😎
I really like the Rugged Shield case. Don't think it's MagSafe compatible but it's basically a clone of the old cases that Magpul stopped making and I love how grippy it is while not being sticky at all. It's based on a rifle magazine design though so it's pretty tacticool looking. Plus it's only $10.
Hey man, I was wondering if you two could address specifically the grippiness/slipperiness of. say. all your top picks? I'm really interested in the strong protection of the Mous case for my new iPhone 13 but I've heard scattered comments about them actually being quite slippery due to the smooth sides. They sound very protective but having a case that makes you drop the phone seems like a bad trade-off. What do you think? How do you two feel about the grip of the Mous 4.0 cases?
Mous cases are indeed SUPERIOR!!! My XS max broke whilst in a UAG monarch and i used my 11 pro max for 2 years in a Mous Limitless and it protected my phone thru some hard times. Trust
Hey guys I found all your videos extremely informative and I having to come back and reference your testing results, I just don't see other youtubers is willing to go thru materials the way you do with your testing, I think your channel is matured enough to take it to the next phase, invest into a business development manager to look for sponsors and maybe a production manager for scripting and story telling improvement and lastly setting a bigger budget on projects venturing into other product market space.
did they fix the mute switch on the catalyst case this year tho because it was perfect then they ruined it with the 12 series...... casetify cases look horrible after a few months unless you have the matte version so be wary of that but its a great case other wise mous is cool but it feels bulky and slippery in the hand, I wish they would bring back the contour version of there cases
Watched this video when it was first released for fun: Monty, of course and to keep up with the tech. Came back Dec ‘22 to get the right case for my mom’s new 13. Thanks Aaron & Val for this awesome review.
I purchased the mous carbon fibre with ur discount code because of its constant place on top every year. I like it but have to say I’m a bit disappointed in how slick the back is hopefully it gets better as time goes by
I really love my Mous case, but I'm hoping for a case manufacturer to add camera lens bump protection and mold the rest of case at the top to stop the case from rocking on a table.
Thank you for mentioning the the texture difference on the magbak vs apple silicone. I’ve been looking for a case that is like the apple silicone but one that doesn’t wear off or peel off after 3 mths. Thx
Ugh…. WHY did Spigen add the cutout for the Apple logo again?!?! Looks so weird.
IT’S SO ANNOYING AND TACKY!!!!!!!!
I like the Apple cut out lol. Especially when you place the iphone face down and the Apple logo looks all shiny lol
I hate the cutout too but some people love showing off that some logo.
The cutout makes it seem like Spigen thinks it’s still cool to show off the logo. Like it’s 2012

What finish did you choose for the Mous case? I have the Walnut one lol
Just got the wife a loopy case leopard print through your link been interested to see one and see how the grip feels in hand.
I enjoy Val’s quirky observations! No need to question 😄
Great review. Curious what you and Val think of the Caudabe Sheath/Synthesis and Otterbox Aneu
I would have liked to hear a comparison of how each of the cases protect the camera lenses.
I didn't think there could be a video this much detailed about phone cases. Fantastic!
What do you guys think about Phone Rebel cases? Looks like they offer good magsafe and drop protection.
The only cases i buy
Possible to do a review of the mous magsafe charger and mounts?
the backplate of my Mous case got ripped off so I’m looking to replace it. Seems like it’s gonna be a Mous again! Thanks guys 👍🏼
8 years watching your videos, thank you for all what you did and doing.
How are they making money from these reviews?
Just ordered the Mous Limitless 4.0 for my iPhone 13 Pro Max using your link. Thanks!
Always love the assecories and case reviews! 😂🥃
Any experience with the RhinoShield SolidSuit? I wonder if it would be a happy medium between the Mous and the RhinoShield bumper case.
@@readyme my friend bought one of the solid suits, and loves it.
Looking forward to the clear and thin cases! :)
Would you recommend one back finish of the limitless 4.0 over another? Ie. arimid fiber vs wood vs leather etc. Thanks both for your work on these videos!
Any chance you can show us the height of the lip over the cameras for the rhinoshield crashguard?
Nicely done, however would love if you could include the weight of each case after putting it on the iPhone.
Ask we carry around the phone whole day, weight becomes a good deciding factor
THANK YOU TO THE BOTH OF YOU FOR MAKING THIS VIDEO BECAUSE IT WAS HELPFUL TO ME
It’s annoying that the UA-cam app doesn’t let you open the Amazon app when using your links
Love the ending Val teaching Arron
No Nomad cases ?
i know you guys didn’t like the peel case in the past because it felt like any other cheap case, but they came out with a hard clear case and i was wondering if it was any better, as an iphone user who doesn’t like to use cases i feel like it is a good option for people who don’t need a lot of protection
Tech 21 ?
Pitaka ?
Moshi ?
Pélican ?
Zizo ?
Smartish ?
Gear 4 ?
2 yrs later I am buying a new phone. Still coming back to see what you and now your wife have to say. Keep up the good work 👌🏽
The camera lenses protrude- which also need protection. Which case protects the camera lenses?
Appreciate the real reviews. I purchased the iPhone 13 Pro Max and bought a couple cases and accessories based on your reviews. Looking forward to the wallet review. I already purchased the Magbak Wallet and love it! But I am interested in some of the newer ones as well like the distil union wallet or the ridge for MagSafe.
From the look at phone rebel stuff this year I think your list will need a new # 1
Damn right! Mous cant handle the EAP drops xD
I just bought a rhinoshield case and I just love watching your videos to see the differences to the other cases
Thank you! You 2 have taught this former teacher a lot!! I appreciate your time!
Thank you, we just ordered 3 Mous Limitless 4.0's and saved $41 through your link. Great vid great reviews.
Just in time! I cannot wait to get my new iPhone and I know I can trust your reviews

Trust
Awesome video as always..
few new brand join the top 10 now..
Still Mous are the champion🎉
Thank you👍🏽
I’ll still always go with my favorite Phone Rebel Flex series
What’s the name of that matte screen protector? It looks so good!
I just got the iphone 13 mini and this was very helpful!! Thank you
did they fix the mute switch on the catalyst case this year tho because it was perfect then they ruined it with the 12 series......
casetify cases look horrible after a few months unless you have the matte version so be wary of that but its a great case other wise
mous is cool but it feels bulky and slippery in the hand, I wish they would bring back the contour version of there cases
Yeah, it was horrible on the 12. Took my phone off to clean and the mute switch never worked again.
Watched this video when it was first released for fun: Monty, of course and to keep up with the tech.
Came back Dec ‘22 to get the right case for my mom’s new 13.
Thanks Aaron & Val for this awesome review.
Love your honest videos. What case did you guys recommend for best, thin, magsafe? One that holds a Popsocket wallet really well.
I purchased the mous carbon fibre with ur discount code because of its constant place on top every year. I like it but have to say I’m a bit disappointed in how slick the back is hopefully it gets better as time goes by
I already bought the Mous case for the 13 Pro Max... I SWEAR... 😰😰😰
Edit: thank god. Also, mous customer service is 👌
I really love my Mous case, but I'm hoping for a case manufacturer to add camera lens bump protection and mold the rest of case at the top to stop the case from rocking on a table.
The first time ever dropping my iPhone with the mous case from about waist level resulted in a cracked screen.
Thank you for mentioning the the texture difference on the magbak vs apple silicone. I’ve been looking for a case that is like the apple silicone but one that doesn’t wear off or peel off after 3 mths. Thx
