Love your videos, they are really helpful (also we're very similar size so it's nice to see the pieces on someone with my body type). I LOVE the Sezane Sandy skirt. I'm between a US 8-10 in Sezane bottoms and have a big waist-to-hip difference, and a US 8 fits perfectly in the Sandy without being too tight. I can even wear it to work, and I have a fairly conservative work dress code (I'm a STEM professor at a university in the US). It's polyester, which I usually avoid, but it's great, thick quality and it drapes well without clinging. Would recommend!

I like Reformation and I have a few pieces from them that I love. I bought a pair of winter pants during the sale which were absolutely amazing and worth the price (it was more than half price which was super lucky). However, I agree that sometimes the prices do not reflect the quality of the products and am not sure if I would buy from them again unless there is something I wouldn't find anywhere else. The Cristina top is probably the prettiest item but the price point is quite steep for something you'd buy for 100 euros and less from other brands and still have high quality materials such as linen or cotton. Could you do a round-up of what you've kept in your recent hauls? I'd love to see that 😊
I have the Layla skirt in green Tea Garden print and I love it. My figure is very different from yours, my hips are very slim, but it looks great and is comfortable on me, too. I love the thin, stretchy waistbands they use. I don’t want my silk skirts lined, if wearing a light-colored one, or in cooler weather, I just wear a silk slip underneath. Unlined skirts give more options for my long, hot-summer climate. I’m debating whether to remove the ivory lingerie-lace trim at the bottom of this skirt. I know it’s trending, but I bought it with the intention of removing it. However, it looks cuter on than it did in the website image. We did the lingerie-inspired look in the 90s, I just don’t know if I want to revisit it. The sleeveless ivory rayon top is clearly meant to pair with this skirt, but I wouldn’t wear them together, it’s too obviously a designed outfit. I’ll just wear a plainer silk tank or shirt.
I agree, I have a few reformation pieces and really only one dress was on par with Sezane and for the price point I do tend to prefer Sezane or Lilysilk
I love the 3 tops you tried but they wouldn’t fit me since I have a larger chest and I would be too self conscious about the coverage. I’ve never bought anything from Reformation since I think the clothes are obviously not worth the money. I was eyeing with a denim skirt but for 250£, I would buy designer. I went to their shop in London but everything looked so meh so I left empty handed.
I know what you mean, my expectations of them are always higher than what the reality is. Could be a good brand to look for secondhand where the prices are much more reasonable x
Reformation is a hit or miss for me. Even their sustainable viscose isn’t for me since it’s hard to maintain. I’d personally shop at Reformation than & Other Stories though. & Other Stories is a subsidiary of H&M actually and it’s a tidbit not really known by others, I don’t think. Even if their quality is better than H&M’s, I personally don’t feel comfortable giving my money to H&M at the end of the day, what with that labor controversies and what not. Sezane is also somewhat becoming bit fast-fashion-y too what with their constant releases and more synthetic fabrics in their recent releases. However, I agree that their pieces are way more substantial and their details are very unique. I will stick to the tried and true staple pieces from Sezane. I’ll be selective about Sezane. Sezane will be my #1 in the meantime!
I understand what you mean! I don’t love that & Other Stories is a subsidiary to H&M, it’s the only shop I like that I can physically go into to try stuff on though, no Sézane or likewise where I live. So I do buy from them, but try and pick more timeless pieces. Thanks for watching ❤️

The linen skirt looks great, but you should also keep the carfo pants! They suit you perfectly! Just shornen the hem. It's really easy to do.
