Schloß Wernigerode, Historicism, Neo-Romantic Castle, Germany

Wernigerode Castle is a schloss located in the Harz mountains above the town of Wernigerode in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. The present-day building, finished in the late 19th century, is similar in style to Schloss Neuschwanstein, though its foundations are much older and have been reconstructed several times.

It is a very picturesque castle, looks a bit like in fairytales. my opinion it is a bit to new. From the medieval time or baroque era nothing left. Thanky uou, Jacobo for watching my video!

thank you so much! It was rebuilt in the romantic era, called historicism. It is contemporary built with the castel of Neuschwanstein or Hochenzolern castle. Have you visited one of them till now?

I’ve been to Neuschwanstein castle a few years ago. Very beautiful. I’ll add this one to my list.
