PS. Their main choreographer (now performance director) is Son Sungdeuk, he choreographs a couple other groups, but has mainly been invested with the guys here. He's AWESOME at formations, breaking them, bringing them together, you would love Attack on Bangtan and some of the Concept Trailers just for that, Danger and Not Today (OMG), or more recent ON and Black Swan :) Slower ones: Spring Day and For You are my favorites ;) (I'm mentioning the ones with Dance Practice, you can watch the MV afterwards or a live performance! Also feel free to go back 5sec if you want to reinforce what you just explained)
I'm so excited to see another one!!! You are going to have so much fun on this journey. I think you'll love Jimin's solos Lie, Serendipity and Filter. Well, you're going to love everything.
@@megglette8990 Remember, she's a dancer and choreographer, she'll be able to handle it. There will probably be alot of pauses as she catches her breath and wipes her brow, but she'll be fine. I love the video of him dancing to it for the MV. Unreal.
It's incredible that they do this hard choreography while singing in their live performances. Sometimes you'll hear their heavy breathing at the end of the dance practice. FYI, the one singing is usually at the center of the formation. When the singer's not at the center, he'll be the only one moving while the others are frozen, like the few times in this one when one member peels away from the others. There are some television performances that do a great job of capturing the choreography while also getting close-up shots, like "Mic Drop" at the SNL, "Black Swan" at James Corden, "Dynamite" at the Grammys, "Butter" at Colbert.
Hi! I’m not a dancer, but I appreciate the art and love seeing dancers watch BTS. I definitely recommend their dance practices and their MVs that have dancing. “Save Me” is an MV done in one shot and I’d love to hear your take on it. Look forward to your videos!
A couple of fun facts. BTS as trainee's , would sing while running on a tread mill to build up their stamina. And they were known to practice up to 16 hours a day, So that would account for their perfect syncronicity. And their shows are usually about 3 hours long. They don't have a lot of down time during the shows, and most of the songs and choreo are very up beat. They are beasts when it comes to performing. I know you are going to love this RABBIT HOLE, so welcome to BTS!
Oh I can imagine! Ive worked with artist before that have to do that and its intense. 3 hour shows though is another level!! lol. They continue to impress me
What's mind blowing about BTS, is that they're doing all these crazy and hard choreographies and still manage to pull off a live performance, while SINGING and RAPPING LIVE... Their live performances are TOP TIER.. Please check out BLACK SWAN dance practice next... Loved ur reactions....Keep it coming... 💜💜💜
Your dog is adorable 🥰 you have so much dancing fun ahead of you and I’m here for it! Keep in mind this is dance practice, they do this live while singing at amazing range! They are always better live but I love the dance practices too! They are so in sync that Army put together cuts from different live shows and they put them together seamlessly, it’s insane. I’ll find one and come back with the link. I think you will really enjoy it.
I am a formation dancer in my 60’s who has been in awe of these guys ever since I found them. Once a dancer always a dancer. Their timing, footwork, attention to detail, nuances in expressing their musicality Love your comments which express my own thoughts at how in sync they are, some of the moves they pull off astound me. These guys deserve all the praise they get, no wonder they are at the top of their field in K-POP Plus let’s not forget that they SING too. They are amazing 👍❤️
So happy you also watched the dance practice! Dance Practices are great to really see the choreo and then end of the year performances (mostly MMA and MAMA awards) are great to see the grand act they form around it! Maybe Danger dance practice next? (It's around 7 years ago, you might want to know that ) Loving your videos ♡

I totally recommend the Music Videos for ON: Kinetic Manifesto Version and Dope, the Dance Practices specifically for Fake Love, Fire, Black Swan, Boy In Luv, Danger, IDOL, and DNA, and the Live Performance of Dionysus and their MMA 2018 and 2019 Performances.
you really recommend the dance practice for Black Swan instead of the masterpiece mv? seeing the dance practice will ruin the surprise of the masterpiece mv imo. i prefer reactions to dance practices second when the official mv's are masterpieces, it will ruin the surprise. so i'm glad you specified to watch the ON Kinetic Manifesto film and not the dance practice
@@sc33h3o3 I do love the Black Swan music video. The setting is gorgeous. The lighting, the outfits, and the effects are all stunning. I would normally recommend the MV, but a bit too much of the actual choreography that you see in the dance practice or live performances is cut from it, and since she is analyzing their dancing, I felt that the practice would be slightly better in this particular case. I would prefer if she watched the MV first, then the dance practice, but I was trying to limit my recommendations somewhat.
as you go through their catalog, keep the time period in perspective...you will come across dance practices that were 10yrs old to the present day. it will add a different level of appreciation. for example, blood sweat and tears was a 2016 song.
I’ve watched a LOT of BTS reactions in my time and I can honestly say that I’m already obsessed with your commentary and how you observe the boys. Kudos really. I’m almost sad to have found you so early in your journey Bc I neeeed more content 😂 💜💜
hi Lindsey I just found your channel today and I love you reaction! some other bts dance practice videos are fake love, black swan, danger, fire, idol, and ON. these are all really good dances and I think you would love them. fighting!
Love that you have discovered BTS. They are amazing now and were even amazing when they debuted in 2013. The early dancing is super exact so that might interest you. Love also the solos the main dancers do. Everything about BTS is brilliant.
I’m 68 from Australia. I’m going to a theatre tonight to watch BTS ‘s concert live streamed from Seoul. Very excited. It might be the only way I get to see them on a big screen as I don’t know whether they will get to Australia and then tickets are always hard to get. I think they are so talented.
What amazes me about their dance, is it don’t look behind themselves to make sure that the member has moved out away before they step back. Again, I really enjoyed your comments and your reactions to BTS, I just subscribed, looking forward to more.
The most satisfying thing about this dance practice for me is when they jump together and the loud thud stomps of their feet landing together as one 😊👌
Another great reaction and enjoyed your commentary! Waiting for the next BTS dance practice reaction. It might be great to start from their earlier practices and the ones with the dance breaks are a MUST!
the "ON" dance practice is insane...def check that out. Same with black swan (contemporary dance). those 2 were released in 2020. and "fake love" (2018) dance practice, also. those are my top 3 tbh...they're just so good. the mvs & live performances for them are great too, if u wanted to check those out as well. thank you u for your reactions so far!
One thing I love abt watching reactors to BTS vids is that I learn so much from them, for example, a cinematographer, video editor, an opera singer, a rock producer, and now a choreographer (you!). With all the technical terms and ideas that I learn from you guys, it is like attending a masterclass of sorts. And I get a newer appreciation for BTS and their creativity, their passion, even the people that works for them and with them. They are just on another level. Also, I love that you respond to comments on your vids and you connect to the viewers by taking into account suggestions and commentaries. Lastly, I love your dog. Hi Murphy! Borahae
When she spoke about the lines and how clean they are and how its the back dancers responsibility to stay in sync... well, this is why they put the best dancers up front mostly. We have the 3J along with V added to in the mix. The one in the back with the foot not in position is SUGA who has the hardest time with choreo along with Jin. You have to hand it to these boys... during performances...we really dont notice things like that because they fine tune things sooooo well.
OOoooh, nice to see you went to the Dance Practice!!!!!!! T-T Thanks!!! And don't mind the puppy. We love them! Just cuddle him while you talk, it's fine!!!
Love your reactions. Hope you continue to share your expertise. You would probably enjoy watching On and Black Swan. Check out the filming of Jimin's solo portion in Black Swan. Jimin and JHope also do amazing solos.
BTS has had world-class choreographers from their debut to today. Plus, all seven BTS members fully commit to doing the best they can with every performance and dance practice. Wait until you watch more of BTS' MV's, concert and award show performances, and dance practices. You are in for an incredible experience!
Just catching up with your videos - great analysis! You said “the future of boy bands - why didn’t we have this when I was growing up?” Cool thing about BTS is that they have a very varied fan base. I found them at the age of 48 and have been a fan for 4 years now. You’re never to old to love them!
Their choreos are very much relate to the relics so i recommend you to check out their songs with the meanings as well. I see many dancers react their dance practices but most of them just focus on the moves. But since their works are all mixed contents of art, so the more you know, more side you can find.
Now it's time for the Music Video I think watching MV dance practice and live is imperative cause they each bring to table something unique and some of the MV have behind the scenes which is awesome to watch I know some people combine them on the same video back to back
Yeah that's a great idea bc there really is a moment where as a performer you go from practice mode to performance mode. We can stay hype and use the same energy dancing in practice but emotionally its different when there is a crowd involved so it changes a bit. Thanks for the idea ;)
"Black Swan" is absolutely stunning. Clearly they are incredible in general, but "Black Swan" is on a whole other level. There is a dance practice for it, as well, and I'd love to see you experience it!
New subscriber here...I get super excited when you upload more BTS dances.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED you react to their MAMA 2019 and BTS 'MIC Drop' Dance Practice (MAMA dance break version). And YES we need more your video girl....just love it
Another great reaction! It's great to hear a professional take on the picky things I see. Also, your understanding of the difficulty level and the hundreds of hours of work that goes into the choreography. is refreshing. I always get frustrated trying to explain that there are seven people synchronized and how difficult it is to "perfect' those moves so that they are as one. I can't wait for your next reaction! 💜(Your dog is so cute!)
yeah you got it. they don't do crazy unique moves but their consistency and presence makes it very relatable and impressive to people (i guess im bullshooting)
Welcome to a journey you will not regret. BTS's dedication to their music and dance is no joke and I can't wait for your reaction to a wide range of their discography. There are some really amazing dances they perform in earlier days of their career as well as now.
As a non dancer I love how you explain the choreography. I'm a graphic designer and it's cool to see the patterns and formations broken down. Looking forward to seeing where you take your channel :D
I love how technical you got! I think all their dance practices are great, but if you want to see some seriously synchronized stuff, it might be worth checking out older content like the Danger practice. They were newbies back then and would monitor their performances frame by frame, and it really shows.
Subscribed! Loved your reaction :) Thanks for your input. I couldn't help laughing when you called Yoongi "the kid in the back" at 6:55 hahaha he actually turned 29 a few days ago :)
choreographers working with them give them high praise because thry dont ask the choreography to be watered down. in fact it became a challenge for choreographers to create a choreography that matches their dancing skills and messages they want to send. you gonna enjoy watching all their dance practices. its different from the others. even their old dance practices when they are just new is a chef kiss. i recommend DANGER dance practice for their old songs
During BTS's performances they never I mean never lip synch. Part part of their training is singing while running on a treadmill. As you watch more you will be amazed at their breath control, his smooth they sound while dancing. 💜
I’m not usually a person who likes watching reactions cause sometimes people just do it for the views but I LOVE your insight as a choreographer it’s so so good!! Btw love your dog
I SOOOOO recommend "Danger"! Everyone is almost always recommending their never stuff but their older stuff is just as good, maybe even better. "Danger" for me is the most amazing dance performance of them by far!
The thing is there are SO MANY amazing Dancers in kpop. You NEEEEEEEEDDD to see some stuff from Taemin (Criminal, Advice, Idea, Move --> actually he's called the idol of idols and is praised for being THE BEST dancer in the whole industry. Also they refer to him as the MJ of asia (since you are a fan)). Also the dances from NCT (all subunits such as NCT127, NCT U, NCT dream and wayv, for example Sticker, Kick it, Cherry bomb, Universe, Favorite... they all are soooo good!) hit HARD. Personally I recommend Ateez as well. They have some of THE BEST dancers out there! I recommand all the KINGDOM stages (with wonderland, rythem ta cover and answer as well as the finale "the real"), but honestly, watch HALA HALA, Inception, Answer, fireworks... it doesn't really matter, they are slaying EVERYTHING. Pls, pls, watch some of these videos. As a fellow dancer and choreographer I appreciate your insights. :)
The most thing that impresses me is that in formations you can see all of them, even if they are coming to the formation jumping or with hard movements, all land in the perfect spot and you can see all seven
I'm happy to see a choreography channel about BTS, because their dancing is one of the things I love about them the most. Their MVs and performances are amazing, but it's really great to see their dance practice videos to see more of the choreography without getting distracted by everything else onstage. Keep it up! The three you watched in your first two videos, J-Hope, Jimin, and Tae (along with JK, the Golden Maknae) are the best dancers. J-Hope came from street dancing, and Jimin was trained in modern dance. The other three (RM, Suga & Jin) say they can't dance well, and then go out on stage and kill it--but they aren't natural dancers and have to work extra hard to keep up with the others. RM & Suga are both rappers extraordinaire, and Jin was picked off the street for his good looks (World Wide Handsome), but he has worked super hard to develop his voice and to keep up with the dancing.
Jimin also trained in Hip Hop, contemporary and traditional dance. I don't think he ever did ballet (but I could be wrong) but he certainly has some of the stance and execution of a trained ballet dancer. I would guess that the warm ups done at the Arts high school he attended (and was a top student of) would have been typical ballet. Both Jhope and Jimin attended dance academies for many years so both were professionally trained dancers before debut. V is a good dancer but he is not on the same level as the 3 J's. Where he does excel is with his hand movements, very expressive and beautiful to watch. And I agree 100% about Jin, he is not a natural dancer but still, he not only nails the choreography but also keeps up with all the others and he's doing it through cheer hard work ever since the debut. It is awesome to see. Love Jin! The others are not really natural dancers either but both Suga and RM have the "groove". Suga, if he had been interested enough, could have become a really good dancer.
@@maggan2808 Amen to all this! I was trying to keep it short, but there's so much to tell about BTS!! You're right that V is not as proficient a dancer as the other three, yet his cool gestures and animated facial expressions sometimes keep me riveted to his dancing!
I love hearing the foot stomp....because it isn't feet stomping...it is one stomp. You should watch the Dynamite dance practice they did with the dance break. It is sooooo good.
I really like your professional perspective. I’ve danced a lot in my life and watched this video a million times before and you added so much! Can’t wait to see more BTS reactions from you. I’d love to see your notes an older one like Danger or Dope vs a newer one like ON.
Whoah...i enjoyed your reaction and all your comments are teaching us something while make us appreciate details we usually dont see or miss... thank you for sharing your expertise!
Loved your reaction and your comments. I'd recommend you reacting to black swan. It would be great if you do black swan performed by bts and also black swan art film performed mn dance company. There is like two versions of the song and I think you would love it. Also, I'm not sure if you're reacting to more groups but I would recommend Quasi una fantasia by The Boyz. The Boyz are a 11 boy group and they are know by their great performances. They are amazing
My absolute favorite live performance set is Mama 2019. The sheer artistry of their set was incredible. Highly recommend watching the entire performance!
BTS is not the Biggest Artistic Phenomenon of the World for nothing right?? I'm absolutely proud of them. Please react to Airplane pt.2 Live performance as well as the MV... They all are super Charismatic there 🤩
Honestly it’s highly recommended to watch all their dance practices even from their earlier days such as No More Dream (esp. their SBS performance), Boy in Luv, Danger ‘till most recent. But one of their many legendary performances, particularly 2018 & 2019 MMA are def a MUST-watch (they’ve shared their practice too on bangtantv). Hope to see them on ur channel very soon ☺️
Dance practices are definitely the best way to react to BTS from a choreographer's perspective, but I would still take the time to watch the MV's as well. They're usually works of art in themselves. A lot of time reactors will react to the mv and dance practice in the same reaction. And don't worry about army... they will watch long videos. Even if you decide not to react to the mv's, do yourself a favor and watch them on your own time. Totally worth it.
i love these kind of technical reactions! I've seen this mv and many others several times, yet the technical reactors always manage to enlighten me with their perspectives.
"On Kinetic Manifesto" is fun to watch! Crazy dancing. And then Black Swan and Mic Drop dance practice videos are some of the most contrasting yet amazing dances imo!

"hip thrust, yup" is a mood
OOoooh, nice to see you went to the Dance Practice!!!!!!! T-T
Thanks!!!
And don't mind the puppy. We love them! Just cuddle him while you talk, it's fine!!!
Oh he will LOVE that!! lol. he is such a sweet baby
The dance practices are definitely the best way to see the full choreography, but the music videos are worth it for the visuals
THANK YOU !
Can't wait for you to check out BLACK SWAN 💜
I love your reactions. I would like you to react to ON, Fire and Black Swan
Agreed!! well said :) I love that they are so universal and its bc their talent is undeniable. Speaks for itself
Their choreos are very much relate to the relics so i recommend you to check out their songs with the meanings as well. I see many dancers react their dance practices but most of them just focus on the moves. But since their works are all mixed contents of art, so the more you know, more side you can find.
My favorito BTS choreographies are On Kinetic manifesto, Idol, Dope and Black Swan 🥺🙏
Thanks for sharing. I'll add those to my list! Im curious to see them all and really excited 😝🥰
DNA dance practice is my favvvvv I think you’d enjoy it a lot :)
Thanks for the advice x0x0x
Now it's time for the Music Video
I think watching MV dance practice and live is imperative cause they each bring to table something unique and some of the MV have behind the scenes which is awesome to watch
I know some people combine them on the same video back to back
Yeah that's a great idea bc there really is a moment where as a performer you go from practice mode to performance mode. We can stay hype and use the same energy dancing in practice but emotionally its different when there is a crowd involved so it changes a bit. Thanks for the idea ;)
"Dionysus" MMA 2019 dance practice is crazy, also "ON" dance practice! Welcome to the BTS Zone, Enjoy!🙋🤗💜💞✌️🙏🇺🇸
K-Pop dance practices are on another level!
"Black Swan" is absolutely stunning. Clearly they are incredible in general, but "Black Swan" is on a whole other level. There is a dance practice for it, as well, and I'd love to see you experience it!
ON Kinetic Manifesto or dance practice, Danger dance practice and the Dance Break Practices compilation by Ida S would be my recommendations. 💜
Love these reactions! I think some videos you should check out next are the Fire dance practice or the DNA dance practice💜
New subscriber here...I get super excited when you upload more BTS dances.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED you react to their MAMA 2019 and BTS 'MIC Drop' Dance Practice (MAMA dance break version). And YES we need more your video girl....just love it
Thanks Nella!! Appreciate the love and support. Im going to add those to my list! x0x0x0
Well said! x0x0x thanks
two guests for your first bts dance practice as well!! superbe reaction again thanks!!!
yeah you got it. they don't do crazy unique moves but their consistency and presence makes it very relatable and impressive to people (i guess im bullshooting)
Awesome! Thank you for the kind words x0x0
I love how technical you got! I think all their dance practices are great, but if you want to see some seriously synchronized stuff, it might be worth checking out older content like the Danger practice. They were newbies back then and would monitor their performances frame by frame, and it really shows.
Subscribed! Loved your reaction :)
Thanks for your input. I couldn't help laughing when you called Yoongi "the kid in the back" at 6:55 hahaha he actually turned 29 a few days ago :)
Awww thanks Yalda! lol I mean you can be a kid at 29 🤪😂 lol
Yes but this video is nearly 6 years old... they were so young then
choreographers working with them give them high praise because thry dont ask the choreography to be watered down. in fact it became a challenge for choreographers to create a choreography that matches their dancing skills and messages they want to send. you gonna enjoy watching all their dance practices. its different from the others. even their old dance practices when they are just new is a chef kiss. i recommend DANGER dance practice for their old songs
Great reaction. I learned a lot from your info. Please do more BTS!
Thanks! will do x0x0x0
Loved how much you noticed on the first watch. 💜
Thanks Angela! They are just so crisp and clean and interpret movement so well
its crazy how fast youre able to catch every small movement they take! your expertise is so satisfying to listen to :)
Thank you very much! Im glad you enjoy it
During BTS's performances they never I mean never lip synch. Part part of their training is singing while running on a treadmill. As you watch more you will be amazed at their breath control, his smooth they sound while dancing. 💜
Finally a choreographer making sense on choreography ! LOVE
x0x0x0
Yeah their choreography is crazy good. They practice super hard though to be that way. They are really inspiring 👏 💜
I’m not usually a person who likes watching reactions cause sometimes people just do it for the views but I LOVE your insight as a choreographer it’s so so good!! Btw love your dog
Thanks Raina!! I appreciate the luv and support x0x0
As a Martial Arts Instructor, I'm happy to see this simple but thorough analysis of movements and timings. Subscribed.
Much appreciated! Thank you
Yes, please do more reactions to BTS dance practices, such as DNA, Mic Drop, or Butter (or if possible, all of them lol)
✍all of them...lol...heard ;) 🥰
I love hearing you explaining how dance moves work!!! I'm learning so much from you. Thank you for appreciating the boys
I love this content from yours!
I think u should react to their dance practices because its so good.
-DNA
-FAKE LOVE
-BOY IN LUV
-DOPE
-FIRE
-MICDROP
Thanks for these!! Added to my list 😝🥰
I absolutely LOVE your commentary. Breaking down and describing whats going on makes for my favorite reactions. Can't wait to see more!
Yay! Thank you!
In one Festa Jimin and JK made a choreography for MJ’s Black or White and they killed it. Possibly check that out. =0p
I agree since she has expressed her love for MJ.

The most thing that impresses me is that in formations you can see all of them, even if they are coming to the formation jumping or with hard movements, all land in the perfect spot and you can see all seven
This lady's knowledge deserves a subscribe.
I am so appreciating your explanations. They really increase my own enjoyment of the movie videos and dances. 💜
Thank you! That is really cool....these guys are amazing and the fact that its increasing your enjoyment is what is best x0x0
Blake did a good job on introducing you to ARMY - looking forward to more BTS reactions n congrats on getting to over 1000 subs in about 6 days 💜
Thank you luv, I appreciate the Army so much and that everyone is so excited to be on this journey with me x0x0
Thank you Sienna for all the information it's really helpful! And very interesting to hear how it all came about and where they all came from. x0x0x0
Your dog decided HE was the main character LOL so cute!
My pleasure 😊
My fave choreo is in “ON” music video. Just amazing 😻
I'm actually can't wait for your next reaction video. So excited
Thanks Danah you're so sweet. More to come x0x0x0
I love how murphy was like: "Mom, you're watching too much BTS now, i need some love too." 🤣
hahaha I know! Poor pup...I still have to remind him he is the love of my life lol
and now imagine it with live vocals, the talent is crazy
"On Kinetic Manifesto" is fun to watch! Crazy dancing. And then Black Swan and Mic Drop dance practice videos are some of the most contrasting yet amazing dances imo!
