If anyone is wondering, 1st dan is black belt. So at 4th dan, he's probably trained enough to be a teacher himself. Very humble guy!
That's the impression I get from how he talks-"We bring them into the classroom..." sounds like a teacher rather than a student phrasing. Very impressive!
Pls fans🙏 pls help me to click on subscribe to my channel Mandolast🙏💖💖
It’s very impressive, however another uprising exponent of nunchucks is Rebel Wilson !
A wee bit better than his "not very good", I would say. Definitely a very humble guy, indeed!
thanks for explaining :) I was wondering
I'd say I'm not very good... I'm a 4th Dan and leaves the black belt off that tells everyone that 4th Dan actually means something quite serious. What a humble guy
You can practically hear the insurance people's pterodactyl screech of dismay as Graham handed those nun-chucks over. 😅
LMAO love the way you worded that 😂
Rebel Wilson has done them on the show before, so they’re used to it lol.
😂
@@MrNerdyBrittotally!!!!😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂
“I am not very good” and he’s 4th Dan?! It takes many years of practice to reach that level and deserve such a high title! Wow.
Taekwondo is a Korean martial art and 4th Dan grades are granted the title of master, master meaning they've been taught the entire martial art and spend the rest of their life perfecting their skill to gain higher Dan grades.
One of Britain's greatest ever Shakespearean actors. Legend
Graham Norton......? 😂
I love Adrian's energy, very calm and pleasant. I think I've only seen him on Undercover and he was fantastic!
I agree! Loved him as Mickey Briggs in Hustle! I’ll have to check out Undercover.
Graham Norton can never retire. He’s the GOAT! 🎉
He's such a humble guy, mumbling about his Dan grade instead of going "Not only black belt, but forth black belt!" However good his technique is (i don't do kobudo) he's a credit to his Dojo.
Saw Adrian Lester as Hamlet in London in 2001 at the Young Vic --I was stunned by his work - powerful and unforgettable!
He was INCREDIBLE
So many years to get to a 4th dan.
Respect !!! ❤
A man who can hustle and also can fight with numb chucks be very careful who you attack Danny Blue😂
It's amazing, he hasn't aged one bit since I first saw him in Hustle! Lovely guy, good-looking yet so modest and humble.
Didn't know who this guy was before I clicked on this but glad to know some new badass
Moo Duk Kwan Taekwondo 4th Dan. I won't be scrapping with Adrian Lester anytime soon -- with or without nunchucks
What a humble chap. Brilliant stuff
*(Rebel Wilson awakens)*
Hahaha! Ricky Gervais says “I never knew you were this weird.” 😂
XD♥
I love that he explained nunchucks is weapon of Okinawan Karate. Cause even Japanese still think karate was originated in mainland Japan 🤦🏻♂️
Can you please dumb it down for us?
@@nik8468Okinawa is an island in Japan. So that meant it originated from an island and not the mainland.
Adrian's got class. 😎👍
Don't do this at home. It takes years to perfect. These sticks are lethal. I've been training with these, amongst other things, for nearly 50 years. I've never been hurt, as I've always been so careful. Most people get hurt. DON'T DO IT. IT ISN'T A GAME.
I...I...Love Adrian Lester 😊
I really like the energy of the man. Calm, non-boisterous and somehow very pleasant. The smile alone is worth taking a second look) Don't know what kind of actor he is as I'm not British, but he is obviously a great preson.
I loved him in Hustle!!! Didn't know he was this amazing!!
Kate Winslett, Cate Blanchett and Dua Lipa... 🤯😍
Second time I've seen someone expertly handle nunchucks on this show. Rebel Wilson several years ago, and now Adrian Lester.
A 4th Dan?? Very impressive
the best crossover ever !!!!❤❤
Quite rightly he’s not impressed with the researcher picking weapon-grade nunchucks.
I have a crush on Adrian Lester ever since "Hustle".
saw him in several plays but most memorably in the london production of " six degrees of separation" many many years ago..in which he appeared full frontal nude..there's an image I have truly never been able to forget 🤭
KATE AND CATE 😭😭😭kskdjsksjsksjsk
Have known Adrian from HUSTLE(Not sure if that is a popular BBC show since I catch up very much later in years), very good actor in my opinion and love his charming performance and calming gentle way on Graham's coach as well. 😄
1:56 Dua Lipa looks like she doesn't understand what's happening hahaha 😂❤
I remember this guy Adrian from the excellent BBC TV series "Hustle" (about 20 years ago). He played a character named Mickey Stone...
So freaking cool!
He looks mortified in this clip. I'd be so worried about hitting myself in the face out of sheer nerves.
Amazing 🤩
Amaaaaaaaaaaaazing!
he looks like Danzel Washington´s never seen brother from another mother 🫣🤷♂
Istg I thought of Denzel too, something very calm and humble about him…
The brother who actually kills people. He would be the ultimate spy, nobody would think ...
...and just as badass..............................without trying to be a badass.............................
Brilliant 🔥
CATE AND KATE REACTING AUDIBLY AT 0:24 IS KILLING ME
Now that's awesome sauce!!!😮
0:21. Cate and Kate have the same kind of reaction in this segment
2:26 Cate Blanchett's reaction was priclesss
If nunchaku were to hypothetically exist in the vicinity…
Twice isn't a great many times to have seen someone use nunchucks on the Graham Norton show, but it's still a bit mad that it's happened twice.
So many guests must have been trained in stage combat, they should throw down and have sword fights now and again just for kicks.
They have had sword fights and even Light saber fights lol
"If I produced"...
So what, you gonna birth them, Graham? 😂
Upsetting when people use their vocabulary, isn’t it?
Another example of someone trying to be funny but lacking the skill of humour .
Michelangelo would be proud!
0:04 Dua Lipa is already laughing
Considered as (strangling) weapons, prohibited in many European countries.
hoping you can feature the Korean alternative rock band The Rose as a musical guest too
This is Sick ❤😂🎉😢😮😅
Nunchuku is great for body coordination and ambidextrous
Dad have a nice day ❤ it's still ur boy Mandovibez🎉 lovely fans let chill up together
👏👏👏
❤❤❤❤😂😂😂🎉🎉🎉 thanks all
Good on Adrian!
That seems like it be so awkward!
He's Michaelango
Is it the same one Rebel Wilson used? 😂
*sits up straighter*
👏
Adrian Lester vs Jason statham...pay to see that.
Bring back Hustle
0:47 Why would someone bring out nutcracker and asked them to be careful ?
Dua Lipa looks like she doesn't ❤😂
Didnt Chris Colfer also do nunchucks on a late night show?
Looks like a 3rd nunchuck in his pants...
If not "very good", then why so very good?
Thei insurance company must be wetting themselves ...... imagine it going wrong ....
Who else is living in the never ending loop of The Graham Norton show. 👀👀
Spam
Haha me too!
Jesus Christ loves you everyone and He will never forsake you ❤
lol Graham says Adrian can do nunchucks and all three ladies (sploosh) and look at each other lmao
Careful you don’t end up with non chucks Adrian 💪🏾🥷🏾
Not better than Rebel Wilson
Tae Kwon Do is a Korean martial art & it does NOT include weapons. Weapons are used in Chinese & Japanese martial arts.
That's exactly what he said in the video?
Yes-I was glad he made a point of specifying this in the interview.
Not something I expect for a 4th dan. Those are basic moves my 8 yr old can do lol.
Always some edgelord bullshitter.
Hi troll, I'm giving you the attention you so badly crave. Do you know how lethal that weapon is? Please show us footage of your 8 year old performing advanced martial arts moves.
Are your balls still there?
@@hoover728 What do you mean? He is probably skilled being a 4th dan but what he demonstrated is not really something advance. He didn't even do a single wrist roll. Weapon training is not really TKD's specialty anyway. No BS in what I said.
