No this is for especially for diesel engines (High compressed engines). This will just heat up the plug and heat will be there for a few min (3 to 15 min depends up on the glow plus models). This will help engin to ignite with out putting much efforts to the starter and cold cranking time might decrease.. This is using only just b4 the start process.
