It's crazy to watch how fast you are improving. You have reached such a level, that simply by being living and observing the world around you, your art is getting better and better! Good for you.
Thank you for the explanation, lovely paintings once more. It must be a very nice feeling to see you paintings framed and hanging on the wall, you may be very proud. The Hague is far from where i live but am sure one day i will see your paintings. Have a nice weekend Titus
Ok new favorite. I love the amped up color play and I don’t know if it was a mix of perylene violet with a bit of burnt umber or raw umber but it really reflects nicely. I love my same flat brush more than the other Hakes. I don’t know if it is a word but it mushes( Mooshes?) well. Usually I have a difficult time watching others paint but you sped it up at a nice pace. I don’t do as much painting on the heavier Arches these days unless it’s a commission but I miss it and have to default to stretching due to the amount of layers. Lovely work Titus. As always it takes a lot of patience. Your other painting is lovely and I do enjoy the addition of the occasional color. Looks great have a wonderful weekend. 😊
Thank you, that was very interesting. I notice that when you are actually painting, you are completely non-verbal. You do not talk to us, you do not talk to yourself, you do not even make exclamations, if something goes wrong. Are you thinking only visually? Are you not thinking in words, but only in images, when you paint? I realize you may have edited out things you have said and also I know that you often listen to music when painting, but not always. Just curious about your thought process.

When you add the highlights it becomes magical
