Thank you. This man is my new hero. I've spent the past year and a half on trying to understand my own difficulties with attention, studying the brain, different theories, etc. I was born half bind and half deaf; but I was lucky to have available strong glasses and good teachers that would place me at the front of the class. Still, I had a lifetime of interest in the deaf and blind because, being on the outskirts of both average + deaf/blind cultures; I *know* that a little longer with a little too much oxygen as a premie, and I could have easily been needing the services such as Perkins or Dr Jan van Dijk. Long story short... chasing through a maze of a compartmentalized brain on Wikipedia and across the internet... trying to find the nature of attention. And... it was so simple. Barely mentioned anywhere. the RAS. Brain stem. I decided to investigate "what if" I was deafblind... and he came up and gave me just what I needed. Recently I was studying embodied cognition; and there is certainly good parallels here. His approach resonates with me; not only as a good method to interact with deafblind children, but with any human who you wish to help... modified for your own circumstances and the individual. Just awesome. Simply awesome. Thank you for putting this video up. Kenneth Udut, naples, florida. I'm subscribing to you too. Thanks.
