This is for sure 100% Bageshree Kanada. Pt. Sanjeev ji is a wonderful wonderful man very nice person and BadeGuruji Pt. Jasraj ji is too. His hand gestures are simple and not disrespectful. Bhimanna's body language was very big and but he is still a great singer his is not regarded as disrespectful. Sanjeev ji is a brilliant vocalist and he deserves to make whatever body languages he likes, he sings with lots of bhaav so he needs to like BadeGuruji and Bhimanna.

Yes ...you are right ...I have also the audio CD of Panditji containing this Raaga...there are about 30 Raagas sung by Pt. Jasraj in that CD lasting for about 15-18 hours....
Sanjeev Ahayankar may be technically well-prepared but definitely lacks the soul ad the depth and the 'ras' of Panditji. Was actually a bit of a grating torture to listen to his insipidity after the vocal magic of Panditji.
Being technically perfect is not less of a compliment. He has a sweet voice and sings very well for sure. Perhaps comparing him with his Guruji is being more unfair to his Guruji, than for him. He will certainly reach great heights with his Guruji's blessings and his own toil.
Our tradition is DAARSHANIK ....something which transports to the higher, unseen truths, elevating experience...for that the artist has to forget himself and rise to those heights....technique is only a tool....but the artist has to go beyond that to tap into soul.
