Crawford would’ve destroyed Maidana, Floyd didn’t like the kind of pressure Maidana applied, especially in their first fight. I would have said Mayweather vs Corrales, because both where undefeated at the time they fought.
One of the greatest attributes about Floyd was that he was a natural welterweight. That was his walking around weight, so he really never had to deal with being weight drained like how some people may use as an excuse. He struggled to make 154 those few times.That being said the only weakness that he had "if any" was facing southpaws with their angles. So Crawford would be a real test the way he can switch to southpaw. It was fascinating looking at Floyd's reaction while watching the Crawford/Spence fight, cause you know Spence was his boy.

Been watching boxing for 40 years and i agree what Bud did to Errol the most dominant and impressive performance I’ve ever seen in any fight at any weight at or even near that level.
I love crawford and his tenacity i cant wait to see him fight someone more powerful than him or faster than him to watch the iq in full force. Brook, porter, spence are one dimensional either brawler or come forward style is all they had. Unfortunately i dont think there is anyone that can bring out the best of bud since no one can match his iq. Here's the thing though: We all saw how skilled Floyd was in his prime but when decades pass and the newer generations of boxing fans are born and grow up, just like we do now, they'll look back on the greats and go by specific accomplishments and stats to decide which past fighters are the 'best'. So while we all know how great Floyd is and how he reigned supreme in his era, they won't see it the same way in the future. They'll see the comparison of Floyd and Terrence as: 'Floyd has never achieved undisputed status' but Terrence achieved it twice (maybe even 3 times?), brutally decimated the number two undefeated pound-for-pound unified champion, and knocked out everybody he's faced at 147. So to us, we know Floyd is great because we lived through his reign and actually saw his dominance, but to them he will probably seem to be merely 'good'. This is why standout legacy fights and accomplishments are so significant.

An unfair conparison between Sugar Ray Robinson and Bud. Unless you take Bud and put him in the same era - using same training techniques and tools. Sugar Ray was a beast in his era, Bud is at his pinnacle becuz of the foundation set by Robinson.
Let’s be clear though, they essentially fought to in two different sports arguably. The differences in rules, gloves, rounds, ring size, ringship, referees, angles, clinch-work, and politics are outstanding. Modern fighters would have a hard time fighting in that era as well.

careful, it's not just 50-0 it's the names in that 50 world champs and future H.O.F.s, floyd didn't focus on undisputed, he focused on elites, he would technically never be undisputed anyway, he was throwing belts away, and refusing to pay sanctioning fees, he would've been immedeately stripped, and crawford (with all due respect) didn't do any of the heavy lifting for it, he fought 1 guy, who was dehydrated and outta sorts, by the time floyd was that age (35) he had well over 40 fights actually closer to 50, this is no shade to my guy bud (i picked him to stop spence late) i'm just noting their philosophical pugalistic differences.
