Two Of The Greatest Showman Of All Time Michael Jackson & James Brown they admired each other what you saw on that stage was the purest form of embracement James knew MJ had his own style & moves there’s even footage of him saying it backstage at the BET AWARDS 2003 you should also React to that backstage part and also MJ on stage with James Brown at the BET AWARDS 2003 that was a Epic/Wholesome moment as well and another thing I got from this video you reacted to was I got a vibe from James Brown he always loved watching MJ perform etc. cause he knew MJ was his predecessor it truly was amazing! And thank you for the shoutout you know I have knowledge on anything MJ when he started doing the Crazy Legs,And then spun, posed for James Brown and then did the Moonwalk that was freaking epic and one thing you’ll notice as MJ was doing those moves he was facing James the whole entire time that’s the most respectful thing I ever saw MJ genuinely idolized James Brown and that was the man who he mirrored his showmanship from but also MJ in his own right had his own style and formed into as we know it today The King Of Music/Pop🙌🏽👑❤️💞✨💯
Michael and Prince actually respected each other, but the media kept pitting them against each other. Although they did have some funny run-ins with each other and would take some jabs at each other, it was a friendly rivalry. But they would go to each other's shows and stuff, there wasn't any REAL beef. Also, If you look up Chris Rock's interview with Prince, you will hear the story straight from Prince's mouth about the time when Michael tried to collaborate with Prince on his song Bad. (Funny story how Prince tells it btw)
Michael Jackson and Prince were both inspired by James Brown. It shows in their art but differently. Prince did not wanna be associated with Michael and I don't think Michael cared. Michael was willing to make his 1987 hit single "Bad" a duet between him and Prince but Prince didn't like the opening lyrics "Your butt is mine"...Look it up...Prince says this directly.
From a metalhead's perspective this would like if Tony Iommi saw both James Hetfield and Dave Mustaine in the audience for a Sabbath show and called them both onstage... classic
Michael Jackson punked Prince and it didn't turn out well. MJ could be calculating and he loved to play this clip as entertainment. To be honest, I don't think this video should have seen the light of day. It's unfortunate. MJ & Prince worshipped James Brown. I think the so called beef was a media creation, however they were super competitive with each other. It probably made them both better entertainers.
Yes MJ was being shady but he could never punk Prince he wasn’t masculine enough to punk Prince or anyone. Yes he was throwing shade tho because he had seen P earlier this night and saw P was drunk so he wanted to put him on blast.
@@Milkers777 You can love Mike as much as you want, he was very talented, but it’s not like this is the first time you heard this. Eddie Murphy notoriously said he wasn’t the most masculine fellow. 🤷🏽♀️

Prince was mad the crowd wasn't rocking with him That's why he knocked the pole over
Unfortunately neither of them ever collaborated.
