I've just received my first mystery box from Sawyers. I had an excellent Bachmann wagon, a short radius point, Peco accessories, a couple naff trees(!) some fine ballast and a trailer for a Scammell trailer. Overall, I'd say good value for a tenner. Thanks for the tip, Jenny!
These bags, like the mystery boxes, are a good idea. You never know what you'll get and might be surprised. If there's things in it that you don't need you can always sell them on ebay or something. Paint intended for a particular purpose, BR blue for example, doesn't have to be used for that purpose. BR blue could be used on buildings, road vehicles etc
Hi Jeny I bought one of these Mystrey bags a little while ago, I got a £15 bag which contained about £20-£23 worth of items. I like the idea of these, its a gamble but it also fun and the surprise of finding out what inside. Good video. Thanks
Did you buy the items or given, in the review you used the words given to you, if that’s the case it’s never going to be an un biased review. Personally I don’t see the attraction, as some else has said, that’s £20 towards something you want and need, if your feeling flush and can afford to gamble £20 then why not I suppose.
99% of the stuff in the bag you would never ever buy i would rather put 20.00 towards a loco thats well over priced these days so the 250.00 has got 20.00 pounds towards it by not waisting it on junk you neer would buy or you got all ready and its now doubled
So you'd never buy a wagon or oil to keep your locos maintained to stop them from braking or scenic items to add on to your layout if you even have a layout judging by this comment
Chances are, if you have a layout you have those maintenance items already, I certainly do. There is nothing in that bag you can say I really needed or wanted that, it’s a gamble. High probability that the bag “given” to Jenny (her words) was specially chosen one for the review. By the way nothing against the videos Jenny does, they are highly polished, professional and entertaining video 👍
Reminds me of the lucky bags we used to buy in the 60s. 3d ( thripnee-bit for a few sweets and a cheap toy.
Picked one up at the Tyneside Railway club show. All things were useful to us with various scenery, scatter, people and a brake van.

I agree Peter - who needs Christmas presents?!
wonderful video Jenny
Hi Jenny and Zoe.
Good usable items. Wouldn't say it's a fantastic bargain.
Keep safe you two.
DELPH JUNCTION
I got one of these at the waterloo train show in September
I'm sorry now I didn't pick one at the last show I was at , cool review
You must be Well Chuffed with this 😃
Fantastic mystery bag. Very tempted to pick one up for myself. Much better than that laughable excuse for a Mystery Box from Rocket Railways.
Great videeo Jennifer very onformative too
Fantastic video
Personally I don't like surprises so I wouldn't buy one. However, it was interesting to watch

@@Jonnyuk365 if you read the other comments from other people that have bought one you'll see that one hasn't been made specially for jenny.
@@Jonnyuk365 there's even several other videos out there on UA-cam of these bags showing the same quality
