Wow! I thought for sure this was gonna be the first epic fail but I am in love with this look! I would totally wear this look for sure.
I wondered what you would do when i saw the wig, but when I saw what was under those ribbons I was sure the only thing you could do was layer it over another one of the wigs, tease them out and do a big drag version of the original wig. This, though... this was inspired! So different from what it was intended for! Love it!
It's also giving me a very Sigue Sigue Sputnik vibe. You have worked that tragic thing into a miracle of fabulousness!! With your cheap wig transformations, there is absolutely no reason for anyone to ever let a bad wig remain atrocious. 👍

Jaymes this is legitimately spectacular, and even moreso with what you had to work with. But honestly you should either keep this wig, or make a near-exact replica with a better quality hairpiece because this is something so versatile and different, but still very you. Like Jaymes meets The Misfits (Jem version), Cyndi Lauper, or even a punk 80s wrestler like the ones you described. For real I'm SO into this for you, and it's also really flattering to your face!

Girl, I tried to dye my hair pink in '81 when I was 13 by using a tutorial from Seventeen magazine, involving packets of unsweetened Kool-Aid and Dippity-Do styling gel. Everything in that bathroom ended up pink EXCEPT my hair.
