I gotta love how the comment's section is just enjoying the race as it is aside from plot armor here and there, it makes this anime fun. I've seen people complain because it was "unrealistic" for even an upgraded GT86 to beat supercars that are miles beyond powerful than his car in real life. The story may not be of best in contrast to its predecessor (Initial D) but it's exciting to see luxurious cars such as the porsche, ferrari, a lambo, GTR and other modern cars to finally step in the universe of initial d in actual races especially the Godly Fifteen, slap some good ole eurobeat and there you have it. Initial D but in modern day fashion. Looking forward to seeing more of this anime in 2025!

Love the races in MF Ghost, and I figure the grip-to-weight-ratio thing accounts for some of why the 86 has a chance, as we saw in the first round the high powered cars can chew through too much tire if they're not careful. To be honest I hope Kanata performs relatively badly in the rest of the current race, to give proper weight to the injury.
@@rRekko Keiichi Tsuchiya (the father of drifting) was a consultant for Initial D. He helped Shigeno to get the stuff correctly and also recording the car sounds for the anime. He basically helped getting the driving right so most of the time there's no anime BS going on (because anime BS tends to happen even on initial D, the no hand Drift for example is BS and probably the gutter run too but that's debatable)
The face of Beckenbauer will taste of despair,shocked and fear in Round 3 and 4 because of kanata rivington technique student of fujiwara just like the gutter was the smoothest drift i ever seen 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I suspect the Blitz turbo kits and Red 86(es) will be flooding the streets with 86 decals on the side and MFG decals on windscreens. My black EVO9 will have to challenge them on the streets. Legends are then born.

Besides despite turbocharger, Sawatari & Beckenbauer still have advantage with mid-engine, their top speed will still be faster then 86GT.
