We can't blame the Westerners for translating it wrong because ay least they went through these books n tried working on them. We ourselves don't hv the culture in our families to read anything of this subject. I am around 50 yr old n hv started taking s little interest in knowing what the scriptures hv in them. This is because we were never aware that the value system that we follow is the outcome of the practice of the scriptures over generations. I would want small booklets to be printed for students of every field to know at least the basics of this ancient culture because everyone would not be able to do intensive study of these books . So while the kids are in school these could come to them in small comics n further while they are in colleges.

Excellent interpretation of Suktams of Rig Veda. One suggestion to the organizer "Spotify"is that their logo was blocking the left side screen which the speakers were looking upto. Also the camera was showing long shots when some suktams were being read out while it should have been focussed on the screen when the hymns were being explained.

Thanks to Western academicians who has given a big whip to Indian scholars and Indians to think over our scripts and importance.If not we would never have woken up.Secondly,our education system which was completely western based never gave time or chance to study our scripts. Twice we are told that Vishwamitra was the priest of the defeated enemies of the Bharatas in the Battle of the Ten Kings. I challenge anyone (Indian, foreigner, pro-Hindu, anti-Hindu, whatever) to produce even the faintest reference from the Rigveda or from any other traditional text which describes this battle to show that Vishwamitra had anything at all to do with the enemies of the Bharatas in this battle. Even as we are being told that western interpretation is wrong, we are also being told a story fabricated by western scholars out of thin air.

@@idris7086 There is no commandment in Sanatana Dharma. Vedas are open ended and can only be interpreted and accepted if the interpretation makes sense. There are three main interpretation of Brahma sutras given by Adi Shankara, Sri Madhavacharya and Sri Ramanujacharya. The only goal in Sanatana Dharma is to understand human existence and to attain Moksha

A Civilization which does not tell its story has no right to complaint.
Thanks to Western academicians who has given a big whip to Indian scholars and Indians to think over our scripts and importance.If not we would never have woken up.Secondly,our education system which was completely western based never gave time or chance to study our scripts. Though I was so much interested, there was no time or chance to read them in the age of competition.

Wonderful chanting by the scholars, and good references to the spiritual messages of the Rigveda. But there is some misrepresentation in the historical narration. Twice we are told that Vishwamitra was the priest of the defeated enemies of the Bharatas in the Battle of the Ten Kings. I challenge anyone (Indian, foreigner, pro-Hindu, anti-Hindu, whatever) to produce even the faintest reference from the Rigveda or from any other traditional text which describes this battle to show that Vishwamitra had anything at all to do with the enemies of the Bharatas in this battle. Even as we are being told that western interpretation is wrong, we are also being told a story fabricated by western scholars out of thin air.

Allah created man from sounding clay, from mud moulded into shape..." (Koran 15:26).
The world was created by Allah's sheer command not bound by the laws of nature.
