can you upgrade the dock? maybe then your boat won't take damage from it? I started watching all your videos on this game a few days ago. that came about because a big update just came out on May 21 2024 and I stumbled across a video by someone else I follow. that lead me to hunt for more videos on this game. but I can't play this yet, not until it comes out on PS4/5. I have thoroughly enjoyed watching all your videos (up to No.23 and still going!) on this game. It's right up my alley! I've played Ark, Stranded Deep, Green Hell, The Forest and a number of other survival games. This game gives me Stranded Deep & Green Hell vibes but games like Stranded Deep don't want you to just keep surviving so resources don't really respawn as they want you to keep moving and progressing through the game til you reach the end game, I feel they rush you through it too fast. From all the videos I have watched, the very first video gave me some tips I don't know if you were aware of. 1. With Perk Points it was recommended to get your 'Learning' skill up as it will give you bonus points once other skills reach level 6. Idk if this is the case, but he implied that you want to get your learning up before you reach level 6 on other skills or you won't get the bonus perk point on skills that reach level 6 BEFORE you get learning up to the bonus point level. Hence why you want to spend your points on learning first. If this is not correct info please let me know. 2. Use your Crows Nest on the new boat to do your mapping as it gets you up a little bit. This will help with mapping the waters around the islands. 3. Collect scorpions you kill to make medicine. I have watched you kill so many and walk away then you get poisoned and don't have the heals on you. I would always carry 2 or 3 different types of medicines when you know you won't be going back to base anytime soon. 4. Turn the animal fat into lamp oil and craft the second level torch as it lasts longer than the basic torch. I know I thought of other things to suggest to you but haven't commented yet as what I have watched so far was uploaded 9 months ago or more so I have no idea what you may have learned in that time. As I recall other suggestions I will post them in the comments of the video I am watching. Can you believe I had not heard of this game until the day the 1.0 update came out last week!! Now I wanna cry coz I wanna play this so bad but I can't until it's out on Playstation :( and no matter how much I have searched for a release date for PS5 all I have come across so far is 'coming later in 2024' and knowing my luck that means I won't get to play this until the end of this year or even next year!! Man, I can just imagine you eventually building a huge ship and sailing back to Spain with a whole boatload of treasure.... or just sailing around the world. Of course whatever is the 'end' of the game may be very different. Keep these videos up! (Builds a new boat, goes out for a test sail and....almost....tips the boat over. LOL)

If it's a boss definitely upgrade the armor... maybe make a bow w/arrows if possible.
That moment when you were calling for the bird and instead a puma attacked was amazing. 😂 Every island in this game is a death trap. Also, I like that there’s a cold temperature now, temperature changes are always a fun challenge. And congratulations on upgrading your entire house! It looks amazing now. And I can’t wait to see how the boss fight goes. I don’t know why but I wasn’t expecting that. Given how deadly everything is here, it sounds fun but terrifying. Lol
Edit: Also, the boat almost tipping over was amazing, too. 😅
This game needs the ability to dissemble the old stuff and get some of the ress back. All of the old ships are hogging the pier lol
