The way this movie made me absolutely sob. 😭 My heart not only breaks for her, but for my Ancestors whose children were ripped from them and sold as Property. Cruelty and evil unimaginable has happened to some of the best people in this world. I hope they were reunited in Heaven, and have Eternal Peace. 🙏🏽💕✝️

Such a moving story, Ms Della Reese was just wonderful she was a great actress and the rest of them as well. Just an emotional story.
One of the greatest movies I’ve ever watched and I am 77 years old. I wish every adult living could see it. Sometimes in real life evil happens to the best among us. 💔 This Beautiful soul never gave up praying for a miracle from God and because he loved her so much he gave her that miracle before he called her back home. He also brought families together and the truth all came out. Another example of Gods Love and how important it is to know God, to trust in him and to never give up hope. 🙏🙏🙏
Yes very true ... Just a shame it took 50yrs of people thinking she was crazy and they got away with it because they be dead by the time it all came out the truth, but I guess at least the Son got to know the truth most importantly.

I 'lost' the love of my child for 6 years, then at age 21 she started to warm up to me again. Stay hopeful!

Very heartbreaking when her son was taken away but she never lose hope. Very heartwarming when her son finally came to her. My tears could not stop flowing. BEAUTIFUL.

What an amazing movie..I cried so hard, my mother endured her older son's kidnapping in the civil wsr in El Salvador and she never found him..she told me once that on the day he was kidnapped she died, she looked for him everywhere for years and years ...oh my God this movie helped me to see a new angle of her deep suffering...she died 12 years ago

This movie pulls so many heart strings😭😭😭😭 and Lady Reese is an amazing actor❤️ they all were so very wonderful here😭❤️ I’m so glad they let her have her son one last time before she went though
Testament of our times. Lilly was doing fine until they took her into hospital and then she deteriorated and died. Similar to my dad - got to 84 and was fit and healthy on no medication - tripped and fell and in hospital less than 12 weeks having contracted water infections and a whole host of issues and never came home. Modern medicine is a scourge and the whole industry is run for profit.

I know of a 96yo that my best friend called Grandpa, was her mother's father-in-law. He'd walk w/ walker, use toilet, etc. When my friend had to go into her long awaited senior living (her body's falling apart as well) he had to go into nursing home & went from walker to wheelchair & diapers to several ER trips w/ her mother now in charge. That's been a year & a half, so who knows how he is now. I haven't asked her as her body's "falling apart" & she's only 59 this year.
But, nursing homes, & rehabs, I've been in them after major surgery. You don't want your loved ones there until last resort/hospice care. 😿😿
This film sure touched my heart,and open our eyes to how people got treated just toxic and unfortunately still goes on.
What I dont get is how worse she got in Hospital 😢after waiting 50yrs trying to convince she had a Son called Henry atleast Lilly Cooper's soul will rest now knowing she eventually had her son in her arms what a strong woman ❤

What some people had to endure, so sad cruel taking her baby away!
And she lived her life in a hide-out.. recreating.. putting up with all that she had of memories .. good and bad .. holding on to the good ones which generated hope .. hope to someday, somehow she gets to see him again.
Viewing a life this way makes you think deep.. and then be grateful for there IS an after life.. in which the Lord will dry our tears and help us forget and focus on enjoying the bliss before our eyes.

OMG.. What a powerful and touching movie
Omg! 😢 I didn't know what this movie was about. My daughter was taken from me and she was only 12. It left a whole in my heart the size of the grand canyon. She's still alive and the pain almost killed me. 💔

Scars and testament of so many that were ridiculed and harassed to a point where some would think they were mad when talking alone but it's gnawing pain that leaves them powerless. My own son grew and grew, he turned 40 years old in february this year, and became such a huge handsome Viking.
I wanna cry everytime when thinking of him, because I love him so much and I'm so proud of him. He was the first child I did not lose in miscarriage.
I carried and lost 9 children before him, so you might imagine how happy I was when I got my first child. I love him ( and my beloved daughter who came 2,5 years later).
We are all imperfect human beings, but LOVE makes it all right. ❤️❤️❤️
