So there was me doing some graft in Halifax in the early 90’s. Guy I’m staying with pulls these huge Jamo bins out, hooks them up and proceeds to belt out this track. In a mid terrace back to back I’m guessing it shook the entire street!
there were that many djs on the flying records night hard to keep track - I definitely remember Brandon block dancing on the bar upstairs and the records ran out. . . those were the days

Weatherall and marijuana have always had a fairly productive relationship, as exemplified on this shamelessly bloodshot pile-up of clattering and booming - which bore very little relationship to the chugging funk of the original, or indeed to anything outside its own stoned world.
