As a woman of colour, I sometimes feel a little uncomfortable around white folks...not because they are racist, but because they have no room to be themselves without wondering if I will get offended. I was out on a fieldwork training recently and the funniest and most welcoming group of people were the white men and women. I had such a great time with them but it was a shame that it took them a few days to let their guard down around me because of how the world has become recently. I wish we could go back to stop seeing colour and stop being offended over stupid things and just be fricking normal.

That was dinner topped off with a glass of water. Was it like this back in 2020 and before? No we had plenty of food to eat. We could pay our water bill and our gas bill and our electricity bill. Even with both of us being disabled. But the last 3 years has changed our lives completely. I would like someone to be able to answer my question. Which is, I have health insurance, good health insurance, why is the medical community not willing to step up and help me? And why in the world would the government have us go hungry? It exists. My grandmother was racist towards me and a few other family members have not allowed "it" (me) to attend their activities. But my father was permitted to come. As long as he didn't bring "it" with him. So he stopped attending. Racism exists on such a small scale from such a small minority of dumb people of all races. That it's literally not a real problem. My adoptive white mother also experienced social judgement unfairly due to public perception of how I came into existence. Not a crisis. Just a minor inconvenience at most. 😂

Lunch time comes around same thing over again but this time there's no crackers left so you skip lunch. Then you have your big meal of the day, dinner. If someone were to ask me what did you fix for dinner last night? Oh you know about four of those little pieces of compressed chicken with some sort of coating on it that you find in the frozen department. That's it. That was dinner topped off with a glass of water. Was it like this back in 2020 and before? No we had plenty of food to eat. We could pay our water bill and our gas bill and our electricity bill. Even with both of us being disabled. But the last 3 years has changed our lives completely. I would like someone to be able to answer my question. Which is, I have health insurance, good health insurance, why is the medical community not willing to step up and help me? And why in the world would the government have us go hungry? Yes we are white people through and through. It's kind of like this, sorry hun It looks like you guys make about 87 cents too much, be gone with you.
