When I’m in a battleship, I never bother switching to HE when shooting a destroyer as well. Over-pen damage from a BB will still absolutely punish a DD if you land a decent amount of shells.
That’s why Frontal fire on AL Dunkerque is for, I never use another commander for my French BBs

I generally switch to HE when engaging a DD, from my experience it works much, much better, especially on their torpedo tubes which is a very nice courtesy to grant to one's teammates. I'll also do that against certain BB's as well because it works for me. BB's have two types of shells for a reason and it's beneficial to know when to switch, like when one is in a cruiser. HE can be very good but when you get a favorable angle...switch to AP if your cruiser offers both.
It's a great way to train your mind to not only adapt but understand the vulnerabilities of various ships and how to use them to your advantage, but that's just me.
Whilst I agree with pretty much all you said about the jager, I would have been pinging the map to indicate where the black had travelled.
The most beautiful shot I ever did was with Petro, I was literally crying from shock on how all 6 shells did citadel and completely deleted that broadside Saint-Louis.
Imagine being one of the best dd hunters at it's tier, blowing a radar, and sitting behind an island farming a bb that's not even in the cap while your battleship charges the dd. I'd almost have to turn in my Atlanta card after that.
See it all the time and I am that BB chasing the DD.
@@nutzz7244 I actually found myself apologizing to dd player last night because I was in Kongo and rng refused to let me kill a cruiser that was chasing him around. Yeah, some people just seem oblivious to their role.
that is still so much better then my matches today. but it was obvious. I disconnected after 1 second in my first game. the start for a session of hell.
questionable teammates, inexistent rng. at least, I cant be worse tomorrow :D
one of my best shots: I knew the shima was going past me. I waited in my yama, he shows um 7,2km from me, I shoot and one shot him with AP 🤣
Ah yes, the Jean bart...tell me you like playing with cheat codes, without telling me. I hate that damn ship. It really should be a tier 8. Played against a div of 3 of those yesterday .. yeah, was a waffle stomp.

My Worcester win rate has drop from 58% to 55% Within 1 hour, get 1800- 2,200 base xp in a losing team more than 10 times, Yeah potato everywhere.🤣😂
It is only you, "big content creators", who can radically change things by forcing Wargaming to open their eyes to the fact that the vast majority of players do not know how to play correctly or at least be interested in the game. how a battle works.
I always advocate for creating a game mode based on statistics

Sometimes that’s the case but I’ve actually been in matches where when it ended I was the only player left on my team and the enemy team had all 9 players still alive! So one would guess it wasn’t just my fault…
Blind fire is a real thing on PC wows I follow a gamer on there and man are they good at it
They also have a cursor on their minimal that makes it much easier... we dont
