The Dutch clubs are closer to Arsenal in playing style than clubs in any other top League....Therefore , Timber would need very little time to adapt to the Arsenal style of playing ..should hit the ground running.
You forgot that the Premier League is a huge step up in competition though. That's the biggest issue for any player coming from another league.

There is absolutely no way you can compare these two. Bergkamp was a striker-midfielder. Timber is a CB/RB. Sure, they're 'Dutch'. But with Timber rooting in the Antilles (Dutch West Indies) and Bergkamp born and raised in Amsterdam, the only thing they have in comparison is their language and yes: their cool. Cold as ice, they are. If you really would like to make a style association, go towards Rijkaard. He's far from that level yet, but his composure and attitude resembles Franks'.

It’s only preseason but White looks in top form/shape. I don’t think Timber will start right away but sometimes White has indifferent games. Maybe Mikel will rotate him in when he sees lapses like he had just a few times last season.
Why? Ben White has been magnificent at right back and center back. Timber will be his understudy
Rotation is the name of the game. This is a great problem to have for Arteta
