I'm glad they didn't ruview the runway looks. I wasn't feeling the nude runway theme. I hope they never do it again.

I liked the coat and the pants a lot. I don't understand why the bra was on display. I liked Violet and Katya's better. Just my opinion.
What I love about Max is what most people haven't noticed. For most of her looks, she chooses a slightly faded shade making it look like it's on an old, early technicolor, tv. It's that added detail that takes it to the next level.

I'm pretty sure that was her inspiration. It was completely Jay MacCaroll although that was over ten years ago maybe she didn't see it? It's possible.

I'm so glad that Max is getting some positive attention early on, when I feel like the pretty/pageanty girls are going to try and slash her. She's gonna pull a Jinkx and take it to the top.
I'm sorry I have to disagree... honestly Max is REALLY pretty and actually VERY HIGH FASHION and GLAMOUROUS which Jinkx wasn't. So yeah she's gonna make it to the top but not by pulling a Jinkx....

The pageanty girls attacked Jinkx because his costumes were campy/kitsch/outlandish/fun and weird. (Not insulting Jinkx) Max's looks are all like fashion show, magazine, photoshoot....
I'll hope So, I mean Max didnt have a lot of screen time in this episode but Jinkx wasnt either at the beggining and at the end she slayed everyone and deal with all the Bullying shit from Roxxy, so I hope Max will do the same this season!!!

I'm SHOCKED. I wasn't expecting Pearl to get a double boot. Although I can see where they're coming from.
I think that it looked better in motion and I also don't think that they had a particularly flattering photo of the look but I get what they're saying about editing.

Agreed, I get where they're coming from on it, I didn't catch gray underneath, but looking at it up close, I don't love it. During the episode i was LIVING for it while Pearl was walking.
i thought the look was fashionable in a NYFW RTW collection kinda way. her fashion sense is beyond anyone who have come on the show so far. also i think the gray plays off her make up and matches well. if they saw her makeup they would of understand the look alittle more.
Agree with boot. In the red carpet interview Pearl was asked who's wardrobe she would love to raid, her answer was Max's - interesting how these two queens are also the same age. Max has a more sophisticated style.

+RPDR is my new religion Max was either always safe or won (2 challenges) and messed up once and went home. Trixie never won and messed up on a COMEDY challenge which she was supposed to excel at. Get the hell out of here. I agree with Katya though.
+Paula The issue is Trixies team in the comedy challenge wasn't even that bad. If anything it should've been Pearl and Kandy Ho/Kasha LSFYL. Trixies performance was solid and she should've been safe, the 2nd time she got eliminated tho...

they tooted Jasmine and booted Pearl????? am i missing something here? Pearl's fashion is NEXT Level shit. this photo didn't do her justice, should of seen her walk the runway. btw Max's fashion sense is also very next level to me. her walk was sickening with that high fashion RTW look.

I totally agree with them on Max's look. It's honestly refreshing to see someone who looks super fashionable yet toned down. There is still that wow factor in just the design without all the sequins and bling.

raja loves fashion and thierry mugler. The dress was inspired by Thierry Mugler's iconic chimera gown, one of the most iconic dresses in couture history. It was for the effort and concept.

Dani Taschen Totally. Besides being a pretty bad knockoff it wasn't as good as a lot of the other queens looks! Violet nailed it, Max nailed it and Miss Fame was in her element. Those are my top three predictions, unless they fuck it up. :)
zack42187 The difference is Sasha may have at least made that chimera gown whereas Fame might have not even had any imput at all...just asked someone to make her something with a general concept she had. But, I somewhat agree...I wish Fame recreated the Mugler look... its a gown Ive always wanted to see recreated.
zack42187 miss fame is going to be saved by rupaul as many times as it doesn't make it look biased or too obvious. in episode two rupaul let it show because miss fame did a worst job than Katya, but since Sasha was already up for elimination RuPaul knew that if put against Sasha, Miss fame would have been sent home, so she saved Miss Fame and left Katya to send Sasha home. you can always see wich Queens are the ones RuPaul really wants and the ones she can't wait to send home.

Why the hell was Pearl's look booted? That look was my favorite. It was a gorgeous, punky look. Something I'd wear, headphones and all.

The shade of gray of the underskirt was office-wear gray. It should've been a more broody gray like Raja implied. That was irritating to look at. Among other things. 50 Shades of Hell No. Love me some Pearl though. I need to re-watch the episode because I swore I loved some of her other looks, but now I can't remember.

Don't you see makeup is 'so ON (Kandy's) alley' - the shade doesn't need to be thrown at her face; it is already clearly defined by her cheekbones.
Kandy ho is a Puerto Rican queen and the one thing they deliver almost every season is fucking beauty. And I do believe she'll fix her mistake in the first episode. So keep your comments to yourself and shut the fuck up.

Myeon - They probably didn't know it when they shot the episode, they did this, obviously, and they even admit it in the video, before the premiere, so they knew little to nothing about the queens, not even their faces. They might have some idea, but they don't know for certain who they are.

Myeon - They didn't say it straight forward like that, but they implied it along the way, like on Jasmines look, where they hoped there was a reveal, or Violets look, where they were completely unaware of the now almost iconic reveal-turn, etc... Plus, they say in the beginning that they don't know who the queens are, they can't see their faces, another hint they shot this before the premiere (and I don't mean the TV premiere, I mean the premiere premiere, when the cast was announced)

YES! Max was the top toot of the week! I have to say she was my favorite going INTO the show becauseI was obsessed with her love for old Hollywood glamour! I will be honest, I thought she was going to have some old lady shtick with her walk, kind of like Magnolia Crawford did. But she walked down that runway like a damn 90's super model. I can't WAIT to see what she does next.
