Bang on. I was like fuck who was that? She looked royal as fuckkkkk. She deserved the top toot because that dress looked like it came off the runway from Milan it was that striking. Though I agreed with Raja a better shoe would have made it perfect but the dress was unclockable.

About the shoes, if every element of a look is embellished off the charts, then nothing stands out. The yellow rose detail on the skirt stole the show of the bottom half of the look, and too strong of a shoe would have competed with the eye for attention. The look deserved every bit of that "SHOOT".

Detox's look was without a doubt the most creative and well put together.
It truly is HIGH FASHION and if this is the level of drag she is bringing to the show I may just have to reconsider that they've made this season to give Alaska the crown
It was made up of all the right pieces put together like a puzzle. It had the drapes in the right places, cinched in the right places, had the train with just the right length of drag, it had the decorations in the right spots, her face was PAINTED like she had walked right out of some portrait from 1776, and her hair was touching God's ankles it was so highly coiffed. It was amazing.

I really like Katya's look. I think it looks like it's in a Tudor style due to the Ruff. But, I think the length makes it slightly more modern. I also like the look because the simple stance and the shorter length makes her stand out, in my eyes, from the other queens

I agree, Katya's look would have been perfect for a lot of other challenges but it did not read regal to me either. I agreed with R&R that a Russian royalty look would have been far better and I know she would have killed it. They do enjoy a lot of her kooky looks so it isn't as if they don't often toot her crazy ass, just not this time because she didn't shine as much as she could have.

Idk, Katya's "royal look" was a bit more contemporary (not really, but still) than the ones the other girls went for, I guess that's why it didn't sit well with Raja and Raven. I mean - the silhouette is very Queen Elizabeth II, with the length and all... the decorative elements however - the "doily" moment Raven drew attention to, aren't, but I still don't think it looked bad or failed to convey the theme... not at all.
Of course - fashion and taste are subjective and we can't (and shouldn't) all like the same stuff, it'll be really boring that way.

Ginger is one of the most talented queens to ever be on the show. I don't know why people are still so salty over her but you need to recognize. She deserves this chance and if she won I wouldn't even be mad. In fact, aside from Alaska, I think she's the one to beat.

I'm all for having a variety of queens but All Stars is supposed to be the best of the best. You have contestants here who have won snatch game, and several acting/performance/intellectual/creative challenges. To top it off, they've produced some of the most iconic looks as well as shadiest moments the show has ever seen. Sorry to say it but up against queens like Detox, Katya, Alaska and Alyssa who have more than proven themselves since the show and expanded their creativity (heck I'll even give that to Tatianna and Phi Phi....no shade), Milk wouldn't stand a chance.

I love Katya's dress to be honest. Its so quirky and different from everyone else, and that's why it works. If she was in a big ballgown with fancy pearls and rhinestones like the others, I think I might have been disappointed actually.

Firstly, her presence on the show has lasted from her iconic entrance to the phrases that Ru and company used all season long last season. Secondly, she's always been an incredible performer. i legit teared up at alyssa.... holy shit so perfect... and detox and katya holy shit.... as for casting i rly wish milk was there? she got such a neutral/bad rep on the show but her looks were the most interesting in her season and shes super funny too.
Alyssa's combination of materials was brilliant - the lace with the trasparent red pvc in the sleeves is gorgeous ( I love plastics combined with other fabrics ).
Milk definetely needs another chance, particularly when we can see that the producers obviously use each series to determine what is hapoening in drag right now and tailor the challenges to suit it ( remember the fuss about her wearing a beard?..then what did the queens of series 7 get - a challenge featuring beards. It's not the first time I've spotted that patten either ).
If the producers really think all types of drag should be celebrated and that all queens should respect the diffetent styles from pageant to high concept, then that should be reflected in the line up.

I think personality has A LOT to do with how a queen chooses to dress. So, I actually loved Katya's look. It suited her personality, and fits her persona well.
I am going to tell you WOWPresents that I have in fact subscribed to your channel and it is solely because of FPR. This show is my favorite upload of any channel on youtube every single week. I do like the guests you bring in from time to time but Raja and Raven are why I keep coming back. They are magic and so fucking dreamy and I LIVE for their sickening chemistry.
Katya's look is tiered with that oxblood color perfectly; can people not see how the fringe and pumps are equidistant and proportionally increasing in width? The shades of cream from her skin, dress, and ruffled collar unify everything so satisfyingly. I don't care if the other queens were serving more gold and regalia. Katya is the golden ratio here and beauty serves her.

Detox here is in a whole new level to the other queens. When I first saw her with that makeup, I didn't recognize her. That dress and the details... It's pure magic. It's a dream. It looks like it just turned out fiction reality. It's the winning look for an Oscar on Best Costume Design. Yes, I'm living for it.
