  • Backstroke Technique. The movement of the arms in backstroke is somewhat unique. However, the most important movement of the stroke is the shoulders and hip rotation.
    In this video we will talk about the rotation, so subscribe in order to watch the next video in which we will go over the hand movement.
    The rotation of the shoulders in backstroke is a especially important technique for two reasons:
    1- Because it helps prevent shoulder injury. When you rotate you set yourself in a better angle, preventing overextension of certain shoulder muscles and using bigger back muscles to help you pull.
    2- You can generate more speed with the counter-rotation of the opposite shoulder that will work as a lever to help the other arm’s pull.
    While doing the rotation it is very important to keep your head still. The best drill to practice this technique is the “cup on the forehead”.
    The hips will rotate at the same time as the shoulders. They should be riding high in the water to create as little resistance as possible. It is important to coordinate the feet with the rotation of the body so they don’t hit each other.
    When you swim make sure your arms are not passing your middle body line, or else you will be swimming like a snake all around the lane.

    • @SkillsNT
      @SkillsNT  5 років тому +1

      You could count the number of strokes it takes you to reach the other side. Be careful at first and once you are sure you’ll need to count your strokes every time. Also you could ask them if they can but flags in the future? That’s what I would do.

    1
    00:00:09,252 --> 00:00:12,714
    The movement of the arms in backstroke is somewhat unique.
    배영에서 팔의 움직임은 약간 독특합니다.
    2
    00:00:12,968 --> 00:00:18,369
    However, the most important movement of the stroke is the shoulders and hip rotation.
    어쨌든, 배영 영법에서 가장 중요한 움직임은 양어깨의 회전과 엉덩이 회전입니다.
    3
    00:00:18,809 --> 00:00:21,465
    In this video we will talk about the rotation.
    이번 동영상에서는 회전(돌리기)에 관해 말씀드리겠습니다.
    4
    00:00:21,780 --> 00:00:27,692
    So make sure to subscribe in order to watch the next video in which we will go over the hand movement.
    손의 움직임에 관한 다음 비디오를 보려면, 구독 버튼을 눌러주세요.
    5
    00:00:29,099 --> 00:00:34,207
    The rotation of the shoulders in backstroke is especially important for two reasons:
    배영에서 어깨의 회전(척추를 중심축으로 두 어깨가 돌아가는 움직임)은 다음의 두 가지 이유에서 특히나 중요합니다:
    6
    00:00:34,929 --> 00:00:37,795
    1- Because it helps prevent shoulder injury.
    1 - 어깨 회전을 통해 어깨 부상을 예방할 수 있기 때문입니다.
    7
    00:00:38,378 --> 00:00:41,381
    When you rotate you set yourself in a better angle,
    어깨를 돌림으로써 더욱 좋은 각도로 자세를 취할 수 있게 되어,
    8
    00:00:41,894 --> 00:00:48,486
    preventing overextension of certain shoulder muscles and using bigger back muscles to help you pull.
    특정 어깨 근육이 과도하게 늘어나는 것을 예방할 수 있고, 물을 당길 때 더 큰 등 쪽 근육들을 사용하게 됩니다.
    9
    00:00:49,876 --> 00:00:58,581
    2- You can generate more speed with the counter-rotation of the opposite shoulder that will work as a lever to help the other arm’s pull.
    2 - 반대쪽 어깨의 역회전이 지렛대 역할을 하여 당기는 힘을 증가시켜주는 원리를 통해 더 빠른 속도를 낼 수 있습니다.
    10
    00:01:00,565 --> 00:01:04,295
    While doing the rotation it is very important to keep your head still.
    회전하는 중에도, 머리를 움직이지 않게 하는 것이 매우 중요합니다.
    11
    00:01:05,258 --> 00:01:08,724
    The best drill to practice this is the “cup on the forehead”.
    "이마 위에 컵 올려놓기"가 이것을 연습하는 가장 좋은 부분훈련입니다.
    12
    00:01:11,406 --> 00:01:14,810
    The hips will rotate at the same time as the shoulders.
    엉덩이는 어깨와 동시에 돌아가야 합니다.
    13
    00:01:15,350 --> 00:01:20,071
    They should be riding high in the water to create as little resistance as possible.
    저항을 최소화하기 위해서 엉덩이는 높게 물을 타야 합니다.
    14
    00:01:22,221 --> 00:01:28,028
    It is important to coordinate the feet with the rotation of the body so they don’t hit each other.
    두 발이 서로 부딪히지 않도록, 몸이 돌아가는 것에 맞춰 두 발을 움직이는 것이 중요합니다.
    15
    00:01:29,104 --> 00:01:33,742
    When you swim, make sure your arms are not passing your middle body line.
    배영을 할 때는, 반드시 팔의 궤적이 몸의 중심선을 가로지르지 않아야 합니다.
    16
