There are few guitarists out there who have both skill and feel. This is one of them. In my opinion, Bernth is up there with Buckethead and Luca Strigagnoli
I was literally rendenered speechless for a moment by that performance. Bernth, I say this with complete and utter honesty that your playing inspires me to practice that much harder. Utterly amazing!
I’m a musician of getting close to twenty years. I’m technically an advanced player on violin, but I know that I’ve truly got a ways to go (a lot of it was me using natural talent to get by). This is something I wish I could do, and was astounded listening to it. I’ve personally known few people who could do polyrhythms (percussionists excluded since that’s their whole thing), and do them successfully
Oh wow that's an instant sub. I ve been dabbling in fingerstyle arrangements for a good decade so my mind is hard to blow. It's been years i ve felt so flexed on by anybody
@@ripadblock Are you questioning if they're underrated or if they're awesome? Because polyrhythms are well established in classical music and used by some of the best known composers including Chopin, Brahms, Debussy, Beethoven, and Mozart, suggesting they are, in fact, awesome. However, they're much less common in use today, despite still being useful in creating excellent music as this video demonstrates, suggesting that they are, in fact, underrated.
As a piano student, I really appreciate this ABSOLUTE MASTERPIECE. You’re right in that advanced rhythms are very underused, and you did a fantastic job making a song practically based on them! So you just earned a new fan, congratulations!! :D
Bernt, you are frantic! I don't understand how you can generate all this music. Farewell is my favorite song, it would be cool if you could show how to play it. Hello from Lviv, Ukraine!
There are lots of videos downing skills and taste for beautiful things... But this is something special. Magic melody twisting you like a spell... gorgeous!

You are an amazing musician. Thank you for creating art for us.

Wow.
Bernth, Charles Berthoud, and El Estepario Siberiano should make an album and tour together.
Have Will Ramos and Tatiana Shmayluk doing vocals.
Underrated comment
that would be insane!!
Greatest hypothetical collab ever
With 'El Toro Albino' on drums, would knock it out the solar system
Bro imagine being so good u can play polyrhythm in individual fingers 😭
Jacob Collier
@@rolojaredah yes, the guy that made the 5 finger polyrhythm challenge
Now play drums with your eyebrows
Mannn🤣
Don't give him ideas, please
Now he will do drum complex
Now play eyebrows with your drums
@@o.Froggy.osiri pull up that video of bernth sweep picking with his small intestines lol
0:23 that riff is one of best I have ever heard
That's like the most basic part of the song 😭
@@MrAFK495 I mean it is but that vibrato just hits hard
It reminded me of the melody of around the world, by daftpunk

Seeking perfection is the soul of music
Bernth... It's music from beyond the event horizon!!!

If someone can play this, then they Deserve to have a god complex... Like, damn.
He has completed guitar and is doing side missions.
This dude changed my way of thinking totally. Thank you Bernth
In a few more years just picking up the guitar will cause new universes to pop into existence
I've seen a UA-cam add for it before actual video was in my feed. I thought it is something I've missed. And than bam! And I see it here

Holy mother of guitar gods!! Effortless, like water flowing around a rock!!
This sounds good, just like music should. The rhythms are just a bonus for those who appreciate them
Sounds so sick! My fingers would be hurting after stretching that much 🤣🤣🤣
Polyrythms is soo underrated, such an awesome technique! 🤘
Are they, though?

@@keegans5695 I guess on mainstream music polyrhythms are not used that often, but In metal and jazz music they are quite popular.
this is the best ad in youtube I've ever seen
That 20yrs riff was worth it

Это было просто потрясающе, слышать, как сочетается то, что обычно не используется вместе. =) Лучшее из многого, что довелось услышать)

Thank you for teaching the kids that complex time signatures doesn't mean just memorizing randomly placed chugs.
Him: playing fast is hard, but polyrythms are crazy!
Also him: *Shreds in polyrythm*
Muy pro!! Y no solo técnicamente sino musicalmente
So awesome to see where consistence and discipline combined with passion and intelligence leads. Such an amazing example that people are awesome 🤘🏻😎
Happy to see you embrace your God personality without any shame.
Also, am I broken cause this sounds perfectly rhythmical to me?

Polyrhythms are also the core of traditional African music and highly danceable.
I have to say growing up in the 80's, even Eddie Van Halen Would be challenged by that playing of guitar, amazing performance, cheers!
