Back when I was in my final year of architecture school, working on my thesis, I nearly filled up a sketchbook with sketches for ideas of projects. Most of these sketches ended up with no future.
Today, I decided to go back and select one of these sketches at an attempt to give them life. I decided to see what would happen if I tried to model this sketch into a building. I used Rhino as my main modeling program and Twinmotion as my main rendering program.
Somewhere along the line I decided I would put this project inside of a mountain... I thought it would be a cool thing to do. Anyway, here is the project, I hope you enjoy!!!

At first i was like this looks pretty ugly, not really liking it... but the final product looked amazing!!
How many years did you personally go to college for
I went to school for 8 years. You can do architecture in 5 or 6 years but I lost a couple.
@@Moochers how did you end up loosing so many years? Also how long did it take to get licensed after college?
@@samharp5646 because I was confused and didn't take any arch electives my first two years. My advisors said i didn't need to do that held me back an extra year. Then I lost another year when I didn't have the pre-reqs for my last year classes. I'm still working on my license. When you graduate you need around 3,000 hours of experience working at a firm before you can complete the program that allows you to sign up for the six exams. I've taken and passed two of them. Four more to go!
