This is an outstanding sling. Once you start working with it, you'll realize how thoughtfully designed it is. There are so many little things about it that make it durable, comfortable, and powerful. Truly a slinger's sling.

Looks like a nice product but a bit expensive. considering how much it costs to make one. More bells and whistles I guess but it does make a great sound.

I am so happy I started slinging a few years ago. Didn't start making it a common every few days kinda serious practice until recently, lost my first sling, and took a while to make a few more, made one for a friend so we can go out together and give him an excuse to go out too. Amazing how far, and how accurate one can get with a little practice. It is so simple but so deadly. People forget about David and Goliath, or ancient soldiers. Those things are awesome and terrifying, and terrifyingly simple. I like to refer to mine as my Assault Style Shoelace. I DARE the Canadian government to confiscate it.... Bwahahah. 😆 Honestly it kinda makes ya feel dangerous, and kinda a bit smug that you can walk around everywhere with a weapon around your wrist, and a couple rocks in the pocket. And when people see ya practice when they walk the dogs by the dam or something, it kinda shocks em.... had a few say that they had no idea how scary powerful the really are, and how far they can go. Those pan slings look great! Some wonderful little improvements on that sucker. Thanks for sharing.

They are crazy fun to just play with too! The assault style shoelace is a fantastic name. Mind if we use that? Love that you are giving the hood a little exposure therapy. That's fantastic.

@@uncivilizedvitality Yeah, brother.... use it. Make the Assault style shoelace great again. Yesterday, where I shoot at boulders near the dismantled railway by the dam, had an audience. We have some work being done on main street, and by railway ave, lotsa trucks hauling back and forth, couple foremen were parked for about half hour break at the intersection right behind me watchin. So I figured would spice it up a little, and shoot as fast as possible and hard, and of course show off a little awesome throwing form, after shot and follow through, release tag end lands in left palm ready to slide over palmed stone, when in my groove, can do a shot every 3-4 seconds, like to mix it, fig 8 for accuracy and power, sidearm balearic for heavier rocks and distance, underhand for heavy, yeah, I was showin off a little, but dang.... I really wanna go now and do more, even some underhanded across the dam at boulder at opposite shore, but I know if I do, .... will have to wait a week longer than I want... is so much fun. Will maybe punch the bag or do some dumbbell flies instead, am working on building up my strength again, am quite disgusted at my endurance these days, and cannot run for sht anymore. THAT is UNACCEPPTABLE, so well heck, will still grab a backpack and bag of rocks anyway and at least go for a hike..... of course sling will come with, is a part of me now. It satisfies every bit of primal instinctive need and self image. ach at least I can go look for some atlatl dart branches or thrower stick fork. Rock on dude! Keep inspirin' and teaching. Thinking of maybe starting some kinda slinging club........ but figure, will let people come ask, so excuse to go out is to BE visible and show em if they have the 'stones' to ask. I always have an extra little too short for me from frayed ends retying length, but good enough to allow someone to play along if they like to start or try out.

Is very meditative too, helps to focus thought and plans and intention, reflecton life and spirit. Always have the feeling of prayer and feel like a little kid to God saying 'Hey Dad.... look what I can do!" kind of happiness and pride. With todays Goliath sized problems...... feels a bit like a talisman of sorts to remind me that even when an impossible seeming things or dangers loom before us, we are never powerless, NEVER. Our best human traits are the abilities to learn and to take something as simple as flax stem cordage and make something so ........ infinitely useful. Even the simplest thought or actions can be used to weave into massive result, good or bad, you choose and be responsible for it. David and Goliath was always my favorite childhood story, helped me feel strong when feeling weak. Thanks for lettin me babble on a bit, off I go.

Sounds like a good day down by the dawn. Totally natural.
