How absolutely wonderful! Today is my 72nd birthday! Hubby is out fishing and instead of cleaning for the family Thanksgiving, with all the kids and grands coming home, I am going to spend it watching your precious video. I am enjoying seeing you working with your father and so grateful for the love and memories you shared with him and gave to us. Thank you for your love of family, legacy and faith. May God grant you and yours a blessed Thanksgiving. Know you and your fantastic build skills are appreciated. Oh, one more thing. I lost my beautiful cat Sophie 2 years ago. She always enjoyed watching your videos. Not sure why, but everytime I watch I remember those treasured times cuddling with her.
@cjaracz2757 Happy Birthday to you! I'm glad you were able to take the day to relax. Did your hubby catch anything? I hope you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving. 🙏🙂
Your father's spirit will live on forever in that cabin. Thank you for sharing the ups and downs of your life's journey with us and I wish you peace and happiness in your life/future.
After the last four hours, I have an even greater appreciation of what it took to build this incredible cabin. Yes, your dad would surely be proud. Thank you for this journey. Your editing skills match your building skills. May you, and your family have many happy days at the cabin.
I have watched you and your father build this cabin from the beginning. Over the years I would looked forward to any new videos. They were sad videos to watch when you announced the passing of mother and not long after the passing of your father. You and your father worked hand and hand to get the cabin to a solid dried in state. Your commitment to carry on and complete the cabin shows tribute to your father and family. Great craftsmanship and attention to detail seem to be standard. Always great to watch and look forward to more to come.
Thank you for sharing the entire cabin build. It's been a long labour of love. I have watched every episode from the beginning to the present. God has clearly blessed you with the skill set and ingenuity to create the spectacular cabin. My prayer for you this coming Christmas season is that the Lord will continue to bless you and your family. You are loved by many of your subscribers.
I’ve been watching since the beginning, but thanks for doing this for the people new to this 🥰. This isn’t just another log cabin…every little thing is a work of art. The ups & downs of your family life could bring a tear to your eye. I’ve lost count how many years this took…i’m guessing 4 years? The outside is wonderful, but the inside is phenomenal. Well worth the 4 hours….break it up if you can’t spare the time all at once. Thanks for the entertainment…going to put a bag of popcorn on and re-watch for a while. 🍿 Cheers 🥂
Hallo my friend, great to see you made a video about the whole series. I have been following you since the beginning and I do not miss a video. If you ever get to visit South Africa, I would love to meet you.
Incredible video. My algorithm sent me this direction and I'm massively thankful it did. I enjoyed this whole video from start to finish! A beautiful cabin built by great gifted men. God bless you. From the other side of the world 🇬🇧👍✊️
I will be 72 in January. I have watched you and your father build this cabin from the beginning and have enjoyed every second of it. I have been an outdoors guy for as long as I can remember and watching your videos of this great build has kept me inspired for the outdoor life. I just got back home (Washington State) from a week-long Montana deer hunt, living out of a wall tent (and no not guided but a DIY hunt) that a good friend of mine have done for over 40 years in Washington state, Idaho, Montana and Colorado and to see your video, albeit 4 hours long and worth every minute, made me feel so relaxed and humbled. To have this video and the memory of your father brings tears to my eyes. God bless you and your family.
@johna.9742 Those hunting trips, camping in the wilderness, in a walled tent for a week, sounds wonderful. Keep doing it for as long as you can. My grandpa is 100, and he just completed a 3-day hunting trip with my family. He didn't carry a rifle, and he slept most of the time, but he was in his element. 😄👍
You and your family are very special. Your workmanship is second to none. You now have some great memories of your father and what he meant to you. I consider myself blessed by your videos. Thank you for sharing.
This is an incredible build. I watched all the videos of you and your father build this wonderful place. The craftsmanship is unmatched. The knowledge shared was priceless. I felt in many episodes, I was right there with you both. Your dad’s padding hit me hard as well as many of us in your viewership. Your father is very much in this log home. It’s an awesome monument to your dad. Through my screen, I can feel your father in that home. Thank you for sharing this build and experience.
@whirledpeas5717 Thank you! Most of the lumber used in the build is ours. However, we did purchase the roof sheathing, and barn board flooring from a lumber yard.
Thank you Outsider and Family😇🙏🏻 I miss my Dad 😇and Mom😇 cherish all the memories as well. May God Bless you all, and keep you in his grace my friends 🙏🏻Appreciate you always❤️Stay safe and take care👍🏻
This video was absolutely amazing. I hope you truly take the time to think about all you’ve done and what this means to your father for finishing everything with the highest quality you possibly could. I saw quality the entire video, but once it was you working, it was like he was there guiding you through each difficult task and creative design. As cliche as it sounds, it truly was one of the best videos I have ever watched on any platform. You’re a good man.

It is a joy to watch you and your father at work. It’s so interesting watching the love and commitment you’ve put into the build that it doesn’t feel like seven hours at all when watching. Godspeed.
I’m still really sorry about your dad… your content is excellent and I love the cabin. I randomly found your last 2hr video of this style while I was sick at home for a day in August of ‘23 and haven’t missed a video since. Oh my. You know I always comment, because you always produce amazing content, but, this was a tough one to watch as I lost my dad 2/18/23. Seeing your dad working so hard again to achieve the dream you shared was so wonderful. The shot of him walking through the snow always makes me cry, because I believe you used it in a post about Fathers(maybe it was Fathers Day after he passed). Hope Mrs Outsider and little Miss are doing well. As always, much love and respect from South Carolina.

@@peterfardell1564 My grandfather is still going strong. 🙂👍 In fact, he just returned from a short hunting trip with the family. He didn't carry a rifle, and he slept most of the time, but he loved every minute of it.
I’m so glad you have these memories and video for you and your family. Your Dad seemed like a wonderful person it was always nice to see him and you working together.
I've never seen a cabin more beautiful than yours and nor do I ever expect to. You are one of the many inspirational people who contributed to us changing our lives.
You and your father are artisans. Together, you've created a jewel set in natures' bountiful glory. May God grant that you and your family find joy, comfort, and peace there. Thank you for sharing with us.
I love the pennies. What a great idea. I know your Dad is watching from above. I am sure he is very Proud. So very beautiful. Dad will continue to be remembered.
The vision you and your dad had is incredible. To see the 2 of you work together just showed the love and respect you had for each other. It was a shock to hear he passed during the build of this. My heart ached for you. I love that you continued on knowing your dad was cheering you on from heaven. The details and craftsmanship are beautiful. You have the creative eye that made your cabin a one of a kind. Your beautiful family family must be so proud. Thank you for sharing this.❤
So many emotions I'm feeling watching this video of you and your dad and the continuing work you put into it after his passing. Much respect to you and the silent giant.
Kenny.
It was such a pleasure to follow you through your build again. It was really nice to see your dad again! A big hello from Norway!
Your boulder and stone work is incredible. You have so much skill. The craftsmanship in this build is surpassed by none. You Dad is SO PROUD
Good day to you all ,
Love this video
It brings back memories 😊❤
I wonder how many of us wish we had such a treasured time in our lives? No worries. Through your videos we are living vicariously through yours and I for one feel blessed to have joined you and your family throughout the journey. Thx.
Just gotta say, this is officially the longest video I've ever watched straight through and it was well worth it. I know this must've taken an absurd amount of time to edit, so thank you for your many hours of hard work to get this out to us. I look forward to every episode :) Hope you and your family are doing well.
Wow thanks! I never expected anyone to watch it in one sitting, so I'm impressed! 😄👍 Thanks for the support.
@@TheOutsiderCabin With winter upon us and work slowing down, this is one of my favourite ways to relax and unwind :)
What an amazing journey Mr. Outsider. And a very touching tribute to your father at the end. Yes, he would be proud of it....and you.
Echt geweldig dat je hier met je vader aan heb mogen werken wees maar trots.
Ik heb er met plezier en een traan naar gekeken 😢
Groetjes uit Holland
You are a happy guy! You have built your dream house with your dad... I never had one...
The best 4 hours that i have enjoyed in a very long time. Thanks for taking US along on your journey and letting US look over your shoulder. Jim in central Florida
You're so lucky to have had a dad like that. You will see him again.
So sorry to hear about your dad. Glad you came back to finish the cabin. Your father would want you to continue working on it so you can enjoy it with your family. ❤❤🙏🏽🙏🏽
Thank you for putting it all together like this. Is great to see you and pops working together again too. I always dreamt of doing something like this with my father. But alas he passed and i became disabled long before we could. This is why i enjoy these videos so much i suppose. I just want to add. Sorry for your loss. He was a great man.
What a fantastic tribute to papa Outsider. Your work is a masterpiece young man. Bravo to you and your father. May he rest in peace.
This video is a wonderful tribute and reminder of your dad, Outsider. He'll be happy about it in heaven.
It is a joy to watch you and your father at work. It’s so interesting watching the love and commitment you’ve put into the build that it doesn’t feel like seven hours at all when watching. Godspeed.
Number one build on UA-cam! No old trapper cabin like the guy in Ontario.
I’m still really sorry about your dad… your content is excellent and I love the cabin. I randomly found your last 2hr video of this style while I was sick at home for a day in August of ‘23 and haven’t missed a video since. You have inspired me to give my home more of a cabin feel as well. Thank you for creating this content.
This is one of the best videos I've watched. It's full of love, passion, and excellence. The workmanship is superior and meticulous. You've blessed us, Outsider family. Thank you, and God bless ❤
I can't imagine the work that went into making this full build video. You are a multi-talented individual!
I watched all episodes of this build and have been following your progress for years now. Thank you (includes your dad and you family) for your hard word and great content. Still looking forward to each and every new episode!
Oh my goodness I forgot your first videos haircut love it now but laughed the first time I saw it!
What a great video sir. It’s good to reminisce and remember the legacy your dad has left. One of the nicest cabin builds out there.
Congratulations on your beautiful cabin with some family time in the effort and something you can pass down to future generations ❤!
It was great to see your dad again. Thanks for sharing!
Wonderful to see it all outfitted and in use! Lovely to see footage of your dad helping again.
What an amazing video. Your dad is so proud of you. I have followed this build from the beginning. Your content has truly touched so many lives in a good way. Keep up the awesome work and many more years of blessings coming your way. 👍😎✌️
This is a beautiful , thoughtful , multi-generational work of art !
The love poured out in its planning and execution is evident

I have no words, perfection from your God given skills, Dad would certainly be very proud of you as your family certainly are. 👏👏👏👏💕🙏🙏🙏🇬🇧
You had such an amazing adventure building the cabin with your Pops. You have shone much creativity on the rest of the project. I can watch the job get done over and over.

Have watched from the start and enjoyed every single video, i have cried with you as i have lost those 2 most important people in our lives as well and watching you push on has really helped me with pushing on as well my friend, your channel is one of the most inspirational channels on UA-cam and skills and workmanship as far from none!! May God continue to bless you and your family and i hope you all are blessed with much these coming Holidays, they always seem to be the hardest, God Bless my friend 😉
Your cabin is simply magical and the stuff of dreams. A true credit to you and your father’s skills and talent. Loved the video - thanks for sharing.
It is very emotional to see this video my friend that is truth of my feeling, however it was sweet to see your Dad, I used to watch your blog from the start of the cabin build almost very week how creative you and Dad was doing thing. May blest his sol!! God bless to you and your family, I hope your wife is doing well.
I know this had to have been hard to edit, but Thank You! It was absolutely heartwarming to see Sr. again. He is sorely missed, but I know he's so happy that you and the family are fighting the good fight. I hope Mrs. Outsider is doing well also. God Bless! I came upon the channel right around 31:24 and have been watching ever since.
Your father was so talented carpenter. I was so shocked when I heard the sad news. But your dad is now guiding you from Heaven and you've made a great job with his tips.
I have to say, that property is a little heaven on earth, it's beautiful God's country and a perfect place for a cabin. You two did an excellent job, I was impressed.
Incredible! Even after watching each episode as they came out over the years.
Thank you!
What a wonderful trip down your memories with your dad by your side.
So So So BEAUTIFUL ❤
Thanks for the video. It reminds me of the time I and my dad had to together. My dad got taken away from me when he got a vicious form of brain lymphoma back in 2005 and was gone inside one and a half months. I miss not having my dad around but I have memories of the times we shared.
