The circle at 7:57 is for a secret boss you need three guardians to stand in each circle around the blind well entrance to summon it, if it's not present you can't summon the boss.
I'm so glad I randomly decided to watch this video and saw your comment. This video confirms to me that the rocks can indeed still start glowing and can be activated to spawn the bosses. The Triumph for those bosses (Double Trouble) is one of the only Triumphs I still need for the Dreaming City. I'm happy to see it's still possible. Me and some people on Reddit were starting to have our doubts after waiting around for hours and them never glowing. Some guy said it took him over 3 hours to find them glowing. The speculation is that maybe the instance you're in affects if they glow or not. For example, maybe they only glow if you're the first person in that particular instance of the Dreaming City. I guess I will try again another day and just wait around for hours and hours and just check in on the rocks every once in a while LOL. Toadsmoothie, do you know how long you were in the Dreaming City for when you realized the rocks were glowing?

Seeing him cut through parts of the map to get to the raid reminds me of Venus in D1. I got so much nostalgia. I spent so much time just messing around on that map, and I ended up finding ways outside of the map on my own. My ex and I spent hours and hours just jumping around the outside of the map, seeing where and how far we could go. The way that map was designed was fantastic for stuff like that, basically did an extraordinarily long jumping puzzle. Fun times, I really miss that map. The Dreaming City definitely brought some of those vibes back.
While I wish we had a Dreamkng City/Ahamkara based season, Ahamkara would be near impossible because Riven was the “last known Ahamkara”. So SIVA it is!

12hrs in Dreaming City is one of the best places we can spend time. It's one of the most beautiful areas in all of Destiny. It's where I go when I just wanna enjoy the skybox and general architecture.
If you didn't spawn in the secret oger boss with the arc orbs then you didn't do anything. It gives you a Dreaming City drop as well. And that lost sector has been broken for a bit now.
I unironically have done this over my years playing d2 since the d1 beta. Same with D1 beta when I'd stay in the dreadnought when it came out. When foresaken was released? Tangled shore and dreaming city I would genuinely play for like 6 hours in each area gathering many weapons, armour and materials that over time I've used to buy a lot from Huginn and Munnin, because that's how you used to get tinctures of queensfoil. I farmed, helped newer fireteams spawn the secret bosses and find every chest... Yeah I did that for nothing, just bored and free loot on all 3 characters. The reviere dawn armour looked beautiful but shader wise was always annoying to colour. The weapons were fun and honestly really good to use. I HOPE bungie adds a new area for the dreaming city like the plague lands for the cosmodrome because as it stands the dreaming city is useless bar a few good weapons.
5:43 I'd love a SIVA season. I just think SIVA looks really cool aesthetic wise. I would really like some good looking SIVA armor/ornaments and weapons (and no not the wrath armor/weapons from d1, some actual new stuff).

The dreaming city has got to be one of the most underrated locations in D2, for instance, it has: Learn with Shuro Chi patrol missions Cats = loot Blind well, amazing xp and loot farm ascendant challenges ahamkara eggs and bones hidden bosses hidden chests Ascendant chests Stunning beauty and big amethysts Quests from petra venj Shattered Throne Last wish secret locations easter eggs Tremendous amount of lore the list goes on..
Hey what if bungie was to put a feature in the game that allows players to favorite one non-exotic piece of armor for every armor slot so that if for example a player is using exotic boots and wants to equip an exotic helmet they can simply press equip on the helmet and the screen asks you are sure about the swap of exotic boots for exotic helmet and then the favorite boots you have selected gets equipped simultaneously in order to reduce the amount of time swapping armor pieces takes. This could asilo be done for the weapons as well
I still want some good rolls of the dreaming city weapons but man I don’t have the patience to go back there but I’m thankful we can focus engrams for the weapons I just got surplus kill clip on tigerspite and I love it
Pretty sure you could do Riven legit with Telesto, but you'd need to use abilities to get the eyes, mainly Solar hunter knifes? Golden Gun too, I suppose! Maybe Chaos Reach, but you'd have to be really careful with that...

There was a time when my wifi wasn't allowing me to be matchmade with anyone, so I ended up spending that whole day in the dreaming city. And it wasn't to bad
I get that the raid clause was most likely for content's sake, but if you were sticking to the rules, you should've been forced to return to the dreaming city to finish out the remaining time upon realizing you could not do the raid with just telesto. A great video nonetheless!

There is also another hidden puplic event in the upper zone in the map with a Oger. Google it. Most never saw it.👌

If you did this during curse week you could technically access shattered throne via patrol.
