Hey Yall. Ive been kayaking the Wolf River for 2 years and theres clay chutes and downed logs for 25 miles. Next trip , Im takin a scoop (with holes in it) and A 1/2" wiremesh-PVC screen. Ill post points THATLL HAVE YALL GOIN "lOOK AT thAT jUST lOOK AT THAT !!" lol YALL ROCK
We have been talking about trying the Wolf river but never had the time. People have told me they found stuff on it but I have never tried it myself. Good luck and let us know how you do. Thanks man and GL&HH.
Its full of those blue clay chutes and gravel bars the size of football fields. Im gonna have to beat yall there to get first pickins !! HA . But kayaks required , Spike !
lol You're safe. We have no plans to get down to the Wolf River anytime soon but I would be really interested in how you do. I do have a bit of trouble with kayaks. The next video won't show it but we had a 7.5 mile trip down a creek in Perry County and it got the best of me. I didn't make the second day of the trip because I was exhausted.
Thant's a good question. No the shapes are determined by their function (arrow points or knives or dart points) and some evolved over the centuries into other shapes/types.
I BET THEY DANCE AROUND LIKE PAGANS....OR MAYBE THE SOIL IS WAY TO ACIDIC FOR BONES TO LAST MORE THAN A DECADE OR TWO. MAYBE THEY ARE DIGGING IN A CAMP SITE AND NOT A GRAVEYARD. MAYBE THE ANCIENTS HAD SENSE ENOUGH TO BURY THEIR DEAD AWAY FROM WHERE THEY CAMPED. MAYBE THESE FOLKS MAKING THE VIDEO HAVE MORE REVERENCE AND RESPECT FOR THE ANCIENTS THAN YOU DO. YOU APPARENTLY THINK THEY WERE DUMB AND CAMPED IN THEIR OWN GRAVEYARD. I'LL GIVE YOU $1,000,000 FOR EVERY BONE YOU CAN DIG UP IN SOUTH MISSISSIPPI THAT IS OVER 50 YEARS OLD. YOU CAN'T. THEY DON'T EXIST. YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT AKA YOU ARE IGNORANT.
Looks like you men and them Pinebeltrelics men had a Great day !!! Awsome video. Thank you all for sharing with us. You men found some nice artifacts. Mike's little serrated point. The one with that barb on it. Had some killer edge wirk. Best of luck to all you men on the next hunt. P.H.
Thanks. Yep it was a great day. Those guys (PBR) are the real deal. They have been more than generous sharing their site with us. They know know limits when it comes to digging too. It is never too hot or too cold or raining too hard. They are like the US postal service of relic hunters. Thanks again and GL&HH to you.
In this case these guys were finding debitage and artifacts in a food plot next to the creek and just started digging test holes up and down the creek. If you have a water source find ground just out of the flood plain and level enough to live on and dig test holes. When you find chips and flakes or artifacts then you are there.
Great. Thanks.. The only relatively productive area I have hunted is Sunset Beach in Cape May at the mouth of the Delaware River and the Atlantic Ocean.
Thanks for the shout out guys! I'm glad if I can help a bit every now and then. Still doesn't make u[p for all the pleasure I get from seeing y'all get excited about So MS pooters, and the occasional superb point that comes from your extraordinary diligence. I have also been diggin' on Rocks' videos. He's amazing with those crocks and other stuff from the dumps!
You are so very welcome Rob. We have learned so much from yourself and others since starting this channel and the FB page. You have been the biggest help though and we wanted to let everyone know. I would love to find one of the crocks like RC has been finding. I use to do a bit of bottle hunting years ago but not so much now unless we come across a dump site in the woods. Thanks again and GL&HH.
Guys please understand that I believe in spirits. I believe they can use things to show their faces. If you believe in spirits please FFWD to 16:01 in this video and look on the shadow in front of Zach real good. Pause the video even and you will see a mans face on the dirt pile. His eyes are closed and looks like he has no teeth. Big round chin I can see his hair, nose and ear too. Please tell me if you see him? Thanks NOTE: think of the jolly green giant then you might see him.
Thanks Scott. We missed you. It was so hot Mike was literally ringing the water out of his seat cushion. I had a little fan that helped me a lot. Thanks again my friend and GL&HH.
Hey Spike you boys did real good, real nice bunch of artifacts. That's a interesting one Randy found. Nice find on the broken one finding both pieces. Nice pencil drill. That pink one is unusual. I enjoyed the video . Thank all of you.
Good showing of it all fellas. that fit-together point was the koolest. Y'all don't eat chanterelles down there? some restaurants buy them in some areas. don't know how y'all do it into the heat of the day, it gets in those triple digit temps with high humidity, we're done early, never past 11am, unless surface hunting with the boat, it cools ya off. Spike hope y'all have a great week. won't be long and cooler weather will be here.
Thanks Mike. Yes we do eat the chanterelles, well Randy does anyway. I will eventually, just haven't had the opportunity yet. He fully intended to pick these in the video but I don't know if he ever got around to it. By the time we were finished it was so hot I don't think they were on his mind. The heat was tough, especially for an old man. I have to admit. lol I stopped digging about two hours before the others did and I just sat in front of the fan. Thanks again Mike and GL&HH to you.
Nice saves ... I don't use two part epoxy on obsidian or super glue it expands slightly when it cures ..and can break in a new spot ... E6000 works good only need a drop or two it really spreads .I put a tiny drop then drag a tooth pick through it keeping it in the center.. it drys shiny so it matches most obsidian
Hay man, check those flakes out. Might be a scraper or flake knife in one of them. You would not believe how many people pick them up and throw down and never check. If it has been used, the edge will be worn down Just saying.
That's a nice group of finds for you guys. Very cool to see the two pieces come together. I really liked the micro chipping on the one piece. It great to see UA-cam meet ups like this. Congrats to all and continued good fortune this summer.
Spikes on Gofer ridge no wonder he’s doing good! DHMO water worthy of points everywhere! Lol On the ridge they is more shallow finds because it’s washed down more. Boys don’t wanna get into them rock hornets 🐝 they like rocks too. I was missing Zach. He didn’t get no action this video. Lol unusual but it’s because I bet he gave y’all his best spots to be nice. Haha 🤣 ok ok Zach is got something now. Cool Great to see y’all all together. Thanks for sharing your show.
As always a wonderful show I got the invite the other day I from PBR I wanna come when it’s cooler and really get down on it love yalls channel so much keep rocking.
Thanks. We look for high level ground just above the flood plain close to a water source. Once that is found we dig test holes and sift. We are looking for chips, flakes, pottery or artifacts. Once any is found you know it's a good place to do some serious digging.
Man oh man!!! That poor fat guy in the blue shirt with the bandana on looked like he was about to die!!! Lol!! He needs his own fan!!! Awesome vid as usual buddy and tell Randy the glamour shots are on point......as usual!!! Great times brother!!! See y’all soon!
I was wondering where you guys went, then I saw this notification, what a great video, those points were off the chain, simply superb, that one broke point and it’s peice looked amazing☀️🔥💪🏼😯😍😍🏜🏕
Thanks. We try to release a new video every two weeks on Friday at 11 AM. Sometimes we may not make the schedule because it is tough finding enough for a video. We do have one up already for two weeks from now though and it is a good one! Thanks again and GL&HH.
Best introduction ever!
Thanks.
Hands down the best arrowhead channel on UA-cam. Not sure how I never saw this one. Great video, Spike!
Thanks Ben! What a great compliment. That means a lot to us my friend.
You're very welcome. Good luck to y'all.
@ 00:40 that looks like a hummingbird Moth cool.
I think it's a hover fly
@12:51, possibly a tattoo tool?
Thanks for your input.
Lot of fun watching y’all.
Thanks! We're glad you enjoy it.
Rocks Costeau is outstanding and very very knowledgeable.
The history wow
Thanks.
Nice finds you found a little bit bigger type of points this time but those creek finds are killer I enjoy watching you guys videos keep em coming
Thanks. We appreciate you watching and leaving a comment.

Are the shapes of the points dependent on the tribe or the maker?
Thant's a good question. No the shapes are determined by their function (arrow points or knives or dart points) and some evolved over the centuries into other shapes/types.
Do Zach and Mike ever work in the creek itself?
We've walked a few rock bars with them but there's too much sand in the creek to actually sift it.
Aahh! I just wondered. Have a good one. God bless.
Great stuff. 😊😊 thanks for sharing your day
Thanks you for watching and for the comment. GL&HH
You find so many beautiful artifacts!! You must have buckets of them!!!
We don't have as many as you would think but we have a few ; )
Fantastic hunt.
Thanks. We appreciate it.
All right, Zach!! How often do you get that lucky finding the rest of a broken point? Congrats.
Believe it or not Zach has done this several times! Thanks for watching and for leaving a comment.
Love watching you guys
Thanks. We appreciate it.
Great finds guys! Gave ya a sub.
Thanks. We appreciate it.
What's the solution you keep spraying on the relics?
It's dihydrogen monoxide or water. Randy and I are old laboratory guys and it's a joke from back in our lab days.
WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU FIND A BURIAL SITE AND HIT BONES... DO YOU DIG GRAVES?
Are you kidding? Where do you people come from?
I BET THEY DANCE AROUND LIKE PAGANS....OR MAYBE THE SOIL IS WAY TO ACIDIC FOR BONES TO LAST MORE THAN A DECADE OR TWO. MAYBE THEY ARE DIGGING IN A CAMP SITE AND NOT A GRAVEYARD. Thank you so much. You are so "right on" with your comment and we appreciate it.
Congratulations to all! Beautiful artifacts
Thanks. We appreciate it.
Another great video! I do not know how I dun missed this video when you published it!
Thanks. Sometimes I don't think UA-cam is sending notifications like they should but we're glad you saw it. Thanks again and GL&HH.
Looks like you men and them Pinebeltrelics men had a Great day !!! Awsome video.

Mike's little serrated point. The one with that barb on it. Had some killer edge wirk.

You guys are in the middle of the woods somewhere and are finding points hand over fist. Generally speaking, how do you know where to go in the woods.
Your creative use of natural backgrounds (points on counterpoints) lends new meaning to top shelf (mushroom). Nice work.
Thanks. We think it lends another dimension to the videos. It works better than doing a conventional clean-up. Thanks again and GL&HH.
Thanks for the shout out guys! I'm glad if I can help a bit every now and then. What is dhmo and why is it better than water
It is dihydrogen monoxide which is just water. It's a little laboratory humor from Randy's and my days working together.
Have been enjoying so many of your videos. Absolutely love those battery operated fans. So worth the money. Keep up the great hunts.
Thanks. The fan was a life saver.
LOVE THESE VIDEOS thank you so much!
Thank you for watching and for leaving a comment.
👍 happy huntin
Thanks and GL&HH to you.
Nice videos! I'm in central VA and enjoy the heck out of coming across the Native stuff! Nice vids.
Thanks. We appreciate it. Thanks for watching and the nice comment. GL&HH

I don't know Calvin. You sure have a vivid imagination lol.
Heartbreaker Relics I’m serious just look closely at the shadow on the dirt pile. It’s looking at Zach. The image is the size of a garbage can lid.
I could see what you talking about
ptudor63 thank you for confirming it.
how the heck do you know where do dig in a tree area????????????/
You dig some test holes and look for debitage (chips and flakes). If you find them then get serious about digging that spot.
Love the Mark Twain Quote!! Great video as always ty!
Thanks and thank you for watching.
Man I hate I couldn't be there I missed a great time as usual. Great artifacts brother ya'll tore it up. Great video and thanks for the shout out
Thanks Scott.
Thanks Tommy. I wish there was a way to really get across how hot it was. I had a fan that helped a lot but man it was HOT!
It was 107 here yesterday and 108 here today . I know what you mean.
Good showing of it all fellas. that fit-together point was the koolest. Thanks. We'll have to check that out. I have used super glue successfully on a few that I have. Thanks again and GL&HH.
Hay man, check those flakes out. Might be a scraper or flake knife in one of them. You would not believe how many people pick them up and throw down and never check. If it has been used, the edge will be worn down Just saying.
I look at every flake I see. I keep anything that looks like a flake knife. We need to start showing them when we find one. Thanks and GL&HH
That's a nice group of finds for you guys. Very cool to see the two pieces come together. I really liked the micro chipping on the one piece. It great to see UA-cam meet ups like this. Congrats to all and continued good fortune this summer.
Thanks Tom. These guys at PBR have been so generous with their sites. GL&HH to you and PopJohn.

Wow, those are some great discoveries. Thanks for sharing. Take care and be safe.
Thanks for watching and for leaving a great comment.
Man that's some nice stuff you guys appreciate the videos
What are y'all spraying on the artifacts? Just water?
It's dihydrogen monoxide which is just water. It's a little laboratory humor from Randy's and my days working together.
Awesome vid guys! Great to see so many artifacts coming out of one place! As always great photography at the end!
Thanks Cooper. Hope your doing well. Good luck and happy hunting buddy.

Thanks DW. We can't wait to see you and get together. Thanks again and GL&HH.
Every girls life too!
This girl, anyway!
lol I knew we were going to hear from some of you girls but I didn't want change Mark Twain's quote.
Great finds. I don't know who does the ARTIFACT photos but they sure have an artistic eye. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks. Randy does those and yes he does a great job. Thanks.
Great videos guys!! My question is how is the best way to find out where a "settlement" was. I know y'all said you don't just randomly dig.
Thanks. We look for high level ground just above the flood plain close to a water source. Once that is found we dig test holes and sift. We are looking for chips, flakes, pottery or artifacts. Once any is found you know it's a good place to do some serious digging.
Also hopewell were well known for camping in flood plains for some reason. If it looks like a pretty spot you would camp, so did they.
Thanks. That's good to know.
I love the artifacts and those mushrooms are jewels of the forest! To me they look magical and they taste delicious!! 🧚🏻♂️🧚🏻♂️🧚🏻♂️
Thanks Julie. Randy said he can make a stick taste delicious and I believe him.
Thanks Mike. We had a blast! It was HOT but so well worth it. That little fan sure made a difference. Thanks again. Later my friend.
Great finds. Love the one with the super fine serrations. Congrats.
Thanks. Yes, that would have been an awesome point had it been whole. GL&HH
Ya'll southern boys gotta learn how to stay cool out there when it's hot!! Ya'll are a bunch of hot weather rookies....LOL
lol You would think we would be use to it but this humidity is stifling. It didn't stop us though. Thanks for watching and for the comment.
Randy how did y'all get that cry baby Spike out in the heat to hunt points!
lol It wasn't hard. I wasn't gonna turn down a chance to dig with these guys.
Spike
I was wondering where you guys went, then I saw this notification, what a great video, those points were off the chain, simply superb, that one broke point and it’s peice looked amazing☀️🔥💪🏼😯😍😍🏜🏕
