Try to play braindead on the left hand and focus on playing melody in right hand. Practicing this did it for me after a while. ( Started on second part, easiest to combine rythms)

Tip for beginners, if you having trouble with the pattern and hand coordination, do it really really slowly and after a while attempt to pick up the pace. You got this.

I'm generally a guitar player but I do play the piano at times. I have to admit that being a guitarist has it's own problems when it comes to playing chords on other instruments. On guitar, chords come very casually. But with the piano, they take a huge chunk of concentration, let alone muscle memory. Anyhow, thanks a ton for this wonderful tutorial!

Why do you play an accord higher at minute 6:25 and at minute 6:47 you play an accord deeper with the left hand?
It's the same chord, it doesn't matter where you play it on the piano

Thank you very much, very helpful but i cant seem to play both hands together. I learn the right hand part. I learn the left hand part. But when I play both hands my brain just messes up.
I know this is extremely late but i have learned that when you coordinate the two hands for example "when my right hand plays this one key my other hand will play the next key in relation to when the right hand is playing its key" Its kinda hard to explain but hopefully you get something from this. Oh and its best if you start really slow then eventually you can speed it up once your more comfortable with it. (I am self taught and this is how I have been teaching myself) oh and if you cant see his hand because it is moving to fast you can slow down the video on youtube :) good luck
