Next “element table” a mountain that has an epoxy cloud on top?
Underrated comment! This would be so cool. The little peak that sticks up above the cloud is what pops in my head. Reminds me of the smokey mountains
Or an epoxy storm could with a lightning bolt leg
Get more squirrelly and carve a tiny squirrel to sit on the tree limbs!
John definitely has the coolest projects out of all the woodworkers on UA-cam. I love that you include your messing around in the shop and include footage of you just staring at the project and thinking where to go. Way more relatable (and entertaining) than the step by step videos that only show the woodworking.
That is my goal George, glad you appreciate being a clown like the rest of us haha
I don’t mean to disagree but bourbon moth turned his lawn mower into a tank... John is good though. And the antics are great.
I love the irony that you took wood slabs and made it look like a tree again. Looks so awesome!
John is so funny! And his projects are always so cool. Another idea for you John: you could make classes and teach kids how to woodwork
Yes I need that now
Great idea
@@connellyfromwiller7877 thanks
After COVID of course
@@zachpayne1761Virtual classes?
John, I like how you said your not comfortable sticking the grinder in the middle of tree at about 6 minute mark, then grabs chainsaw. Nicely done sir!
This is where ur actual talent is!!! U are really good at wood carving!!!
Love that you explain that you are uncomfortable getting down inside the top with the arbortek tool, then promptly break out the chainsaw!
Man, you hit it out of the park with this one!!!
Great job man, love the imagination. It turned out awesome. My son loves Minecraft so he would have made me stop right there lol!
Johnny, Johnny, Johnny. You, sir, outdid yourself on this one. 3D Sculpting and Resin. Plus the sexy 3M Versaflo... this video should be a 1mil candidate
I love it by the way, would add another later of epoxy so it covers the wood showing through the top and so it rolls over the edge a bit. Great work.
Hahaha! Callin' me out I see.
I dig the concept!
I've actually been sitting on an epoxy idea for a while now believe it or not.
Your epoxy/wood screwdrivers turned out really cool
Hey John, now you have to create the top for the other three seasons too. ;-) Maybe one base with four tops to change whatever season is at the moment ;-)
BTW: I have the idea for another epoxy project: Take a massive tabletop (i.e. maple), burn it down, really deep. So you have the cracks and it will look like cooled lava. then put in some small amounts of orange/red epoxy. I should look like liquid lava in a cooled lava field. After this, cover the whole tabletop in crystal epoxy ;-) What do you think?
I have just one word for this table... BADASSERIE !!!
Only a true native will truly appreciate the “yinz” 💪🏼💪🏼🤘🏼😎🤘🏼
That tree table to so cool. I feel likw it need cup holders from a couple of random branches. Think you should make a dining table with chairs all to give it a rain forest feel.
Been waiting for this one ever since I saw it on Insta
I watch a lot of makers on youtube, and even if I don't vibe on the project you are doing I somehow can't stop watching until the end. Keep up the great work.
Jon, the tree table is a piece of art man! For the next build an epoxy tree dinning table because that’s clownery. Can’t wait for the new desk build!!
Sweet proof of concept! I think it'd be super cool if you made one with a 3D top; where the epoxy extends down in a tree shape, and the top looks like you took and cut the top of the tree flat! Then the bits of the base that show up look super natural because that's what would happen if you cut off the top of a tree!
Nooooooo.... the pour is the best part and WOW....love the madness
This is the perfect idea for a toddler room!
That thing is beyond sick. You are by far my favorite woodworking channel. Just got my merch ordered.
A dozen of those would make an epic cafe
This is so neat, should try to make another one in the future, add some jungley hanging bits in the top, would be so awesome
What a piece of work!!! You have some talent there big fella. From the beginning with you using a invisible pencil to make it out to your ability to carving. Being a footballer, you'd make a bloody good craftsman. Well done mate.
very cool idea and it turned out incredible!
this concept could be a whole furniture series honestly... personally, i would love to see a matching book shelf with the branches winding up through multiple layers of resin leaves. or like, a coffee table version that's two small trees standing next to each other.. idk this was a very inspiring build haha
I love the picture of Ron Swanson in the background
Mr. Malecki bringing the goods, once again!!!!
Love to see John concealed carrying
Wonderful work!!!
One suggestion, you can do a multi color pour to make it look like a tree turning colors in autumn. Just a thought. 😊
You should go big and do a dining room table like that!
Hey John I use the Milwaukee m12 die grinder to carve you can buy any cheap 2 inch aluminum oxide discs for them. I use 36-40 grit to hog away material and you don’t get any tear out. I can carve for around 30-40 minutes on one 4.0 m12 battery. I currently use mine to carve birds. I roughout them out on the bandsaw and then shape them with my die grinder from 36 grit for shaping up to 10000 grit for finish. I don’t do any hand sanding on them. It makes the job fly and you don’t have to worry about losing a finger!
This is one of my favorites. I love that green.
This is really cool. I watched all your epoxy videos, but I think that this is the best of all. But I also think that you put table legs to deep into epoxy and that because we can see it on the table top. Great job, guys!
For wind you should make a epoxy fan that works.
Turned out way better then I imagined. great job man
Medium stain it to look a bit darker and add a knot or hole or two. But yeah, I like! Oooh, add a tree branch side holder for a remote.
You should build a manual lifting standing/sitting desk! Challenge would be no powered parts!
More levels with branches as shelves. Very Cool. Looks great.👍
I love what you do. And you make me laugh and being a hospice nurse working on the front lines. I want one
One of a kind table, so neat. Turned out fantastic.
That was awesome but I think in the next one pint the ends of the branches green so it shows up better. Great table!
really fun to watch and I think you should do more of these nature projects
out all the pours I have seen you do , this one has so much potential , so many ideas and so little time . . . thanks for sharing
Who else thinks that John should start get a forge and make knives and stuff.
You guys should do three work bench’s be rad to see beginner to pro and everyone’s different style
That thing looks awesome! To level the bottom you could have poured brown epoxy to mimic dirt.
John: uses cut down tree to make a tree
Tree: Am I a joke to you?
Been binging these videos of yours. Should try maybe make a fractal river epoxy table to go with the elements. Call it your light table... Maybe some LEDs.... Florescent epoxy... Great content. Keep it up.
I think it looks great. The 1 thing I would suggest to improve it is when pouring the resin top that you have the table suspended like a 1/2" so you don't see the limbs protruding through the top.
And maybe making the base a little more organic by cutting through the base so you can see the individual roots branching out instead of 1 big cluster.
Love your solution to lost footage!
No idea where that was going at the beginning but ended up great. Always fun to watch some go from the Malecki "mind" to some sort of ending!
You are defenately one of the most entertaining guys on UA-cam. You make some very interesting projects. I have a suggestion for a project. How about a huge, carved shop(logo) sign you can hang outside your enterence door from a fancy bracket? You can make good use of your new mask.
John getting squirrelly in tree dimensions now
Yeahhh man!! This is amazing!! Really like the green epoxy with maple. Biiiiig up Man!!
I am just armchair quarterbacking here, but on the next one, do the same pour, then when it's done, do a second pour with the table right side up like you did with the lava table to give it some overhang. 8-D
John you should sell your off cuts of resin for people to make knife handle blanks
This needs to be part of a furniture set for a little kid's room. Make a crib/bed frame in the same style, maybe a dresser. Really nice work!
Ahhh yes the four elements:
Earth
Fire
Water
And weird.
That’d make a great shirt!
And by weird you mean squirrelly
The Fifth, and most perfect element then, is Assclownery.
You gotta try a Star Wars trench run epoxy table!! X-wing and Tie-fighter in the epoxy trench!
Very fun and cool project. It reminds me of a banyan tree. If you carved out material between the roots it would look even more like a banyan.
Cool as hell guys
definitely one of the coolest epoxy projects you've done. this reminds me of the Tree of Life in Disney World, my girl is a huge Disney fan, maybe i should make something like this
I’m an arborist and a novice woodworker. I am very inspired. Thank you! And love all your vids!!
Cool build! Love that flag in the corner, Semper Fi!!!
def one of my fave builds yet just looks so calming and relaxing you know like one of those paintings you could just stare at for ages
Very cool! Would you consider propping the “trunk” up some while it dries so it doesn’t come completely thru the epoxy?
Woooow this is sooo cool! It's the best epoxy table ever.
Very nice and a lot of effort put into this table. If you were to build it again I suggest that you would lift the wooden branches a little bit while pouring the epoxy so that you would have a clean green table top. Well done sir.
Sickest table ever!
Didn’t like it at first site before I watched it but then me malecki pulls it out the bag ,good job
Who knew your an artist looks really cool john I dig it
Came out very nicely.
Amazing absolutely love it
This was very neat. I agree with the hood filter PPE device.... I need one at some point...
Gorgeous!
I’m in love with this project!!!
Just beautiful! Thank for the great ideas!
That turned out amazingly, excellent work good sir!
Love the Builds !! Keep it up !
John .. what a great item .I like watching all your videos keep them coming .
carving looked really great.
Love it. Wife loves it. Win/Win.
Looks AWESOME!
Possibly the coolest thing ive seen your creative ass build!!! Keep it up John! Great content!
I friggin love that table. Home run bubba
it looks pretty awesome!
That is the nicest one I have seen from you... great job!
Awesome project John! Everything really has an organic look to it, super impressive! As always, thanks for a great video!
that is bloody outstanding! Great work fella
Fantastic Video John!
That thing is incredible!
I would love to see this at a multi level tree top it looks awesome
Turned out fantastic wish I had a workshop half the size of yours I’m working out a six by eight shed 👍
Awesome table and I want one.
But since you asked for an opinion, could you do a two layer pour so you don't see the branches too much through the top.
Also, and this is just what I'd like to see, I'd put in a small bird nest in the branches to stash snacks and such like.
Good job. Definitely creative and original.
Love it. This is a wonderful start to a cool series.
looks awesome! great work
