Been watching a lot of your videos! Some things I’d love to see set in resin that I don’t *think* you’ve done yet: Legos (unassembled), pipe cleaners, dyed toothpicks, yarn! And maybe some Christmas tree tinsel.
beautiful work as always! I love when you carve such satisfying spheres; I also wasn't expecting how nice the colors came through that black resin, very cool!
I love this! You did a wonderful job on it. I’ve been planning on casting a small rubber duck to make a new gearshift knob for the old Jeep I knock about with. Having the insert & chuck attachment make it so much easier. Where did you find them?
Hello Ben! i'm wondering would it be possible to make a silicone mould from a vinyl record and then recast in epoxy? it would be interesting to see what it sounds like if it would work and might make an interesting video
Looks awesome.. And the finish is impeccable.. so polished and clear.. Do you do repairs to a project that I was working on and cracked due to the heat? It may be a good video to see if it can be fixed maybe.. 👍👍
Beautiful distortion effects, but the with the original the cube looks round, where as in this project it doesn't. Not mad though, this look awesome. Great work Ben.
the original cube was casted on its side and this one is glued on its corner, I feel like since Ben likes to experiment he wanted to see if the end result would look any different
Hey Ben, if I wanted to make my own custom gear shift knobs, do I need all different threads or does one fit all? Also could I just mould one then add threading
just curios, but is there a reason why you hava a laid ( idk if it's sdpelled like that) for turning sand one for sanding? I mean what difference does it make, couldn't you just always use one of them to do both jobs?
Hey mate, just wondering what the face mask/shield/dust-protector thing you use is and where you got it from. Cheers and love your work. You've been an inspiration for some of my stuff lately.
You really are a great artist and maker! Everything you make is amazing! Even the mistakes sometimes lol! God bless you and your family sir. Thank you for sharing your amazing creations with us and always keep doing what you love!
@@BensWorx there's a bunch of varieties out there including various thermal colour shift hues, magnetic responsive, colour patterns, however the scented ones may not be ideal for this lol 😆
Something I've noticed between you and others I watch who use resin, why don't you wear PPE while working with it? I've gotten it on my skin before and it wasn't pleasant (though not as bad as it could have been with a quicker curing epoxy or a larger amount) when I went to clean it off. Is the brand you use more skin safe comparatively to others? Love both those cubes in spheres, either way. The way they seem to twist and deform depending on the angle is awesome!
Interesting that you are using that rubik's cube. I was watching another UA-cam video today, and she was doing an unboxing of World's Smallest brand toys.
@@BensWorxthank you so much! You’ve inspired me, particularly with the shift knobs. I’ve been wanting to make them but had no idea how, and resin is now one option in my mind. Thank you again for the inspiration
Hi Ben! Does your car have a replaceable shifter? I've always wanted to know. And if so, what shifter do you use? Also, those dragon diaries are so beautiful! Are you & Nicole going to make one for the channel?
I needed this today. Covid booster yesterday so I've been feeling like hammered crap all day. Very nice little follow-up. Rubiks cubes are very aesthetically pleasing.
Thanks for stopping by, If you have time you can check out my new range of Eggs here www.etsy.com/shop/bensworx
You should make another one, but with the cube unsolved so you trigger everyone's OCD.....
Would you by chance be able to make one of the eggs with an LED light in it so when you turn it on it lights up the inside
@@festertues That's a great idea!

That was a masterful knob polishing job. You must have practiced a lot over the years.
Jerkins is my go-to polishing compound
His wrists are the strongest in his home state
When we were kids we had a ton of those tiny Rubik’s cubes. They were on keychains. I think it looks pretty spiffy.
Thankyou
Lies, when we were kids we had 1 kind of Rubiks cube and it only got solved when we learned how to take it apart and put it back together again
And whenever you would try to solve them too fast, they would just explode, and you would have to reassemble
Please continue to keep selling shift knobs on your Etsy, your work is absolutely stunning
Thankyou
The effect at the end when roatating makes it look like you are looking at the inside of a box. Really trippy!!!
beautiful work as always! I love when you carve such satisfying spheres; I also wasn't expecting how nice the colors came through that black resin, very cool!

Hi Ben, turned out beautiful. Sorry missed a few videos, our home got burnt 2 weeks ago. All safe. I will go back to watch. Have a great weekend.
Love the dragon diaries! They truly are keepsakes, you should make them such that the pages can be replaced.
Thankyou
That looks fantastic. The dragon diaries look fantastic too.
Thanks Dave
That is adorable!! Looks like it is floating. Pretty Cool💖💖
Thanks Connie 😊
I love the distortion from the round shape!
ben you have done it again mate hit it out of the park and little base looks so cool
Ben, you might want to invest in more of these small Rubik’s cubes, cause I think you’re going to get a lot of requests for this knob!!!
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Yay I loved the rubix cube original video. Tiny version is even better. Sooo cool!! Keep being awesome!!!
Thankyou
That little rubix cube is so adorable. The casting is crystal clear, which makes the end result look amazing.💜
Love how it looks like it changes shape inside as it spins
Ben! You need some more of these. I need one for my son's 16th birthday. 😊
absolutely amazing video, love this channel
Turned out Great!
Thanks Kim 😊
Hey Ben
Great outcome 🙂
I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend.
Take care

Thankyou, I found them online, I think the mandrel is for a bottle stopper kit and the inserts are just threaded inserts
that's a super cool idea, i hope it works out
What a GREAT idea for a shift knob! It turned out really nice!
Thankyou

what a knob job! looks like someone bought it already, lucky dog. i would’ve loved to have this knob in my car to yank on daily
Thankyou
I like the colour swirls in the base
I’d buy that in a heartbeat
I like how it turned into an optical illusion. Like you were looking inside a box not at the outside. Fun
Very cool project, question is how bad will the resin yellow being in a car year around.
Bloody brilliant! What an awesome result 👌👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thankyou
Can you please explain the difference between what the vacuum chamber does compared to the pressure pot?
Fantastic as always Ben 😁😁 love it

Ya are extremely talented young man THANK YOU STAY SAFE AND GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY
Those resin shavings look really cool. I wonder what you could do with them.
You should try putting a working analog watch into resin and watch it work in the resin.
That looks amazing Ben. Of course, I expected no less. Love your channel.
Nice knob Ben! Well done.
great work as always ben
Thanks Stephen
Put small chess men in epoxy and turn them like your eggs. Add specific colors to each side. It will be epic!
Really cool illusion
Man, I'd love to have one of those... It'd look amazing in a good oldie like the Brasília or an Opala
looks awesome as usual dude the other stuff sounds awesome too
Thanks Beth 😊
Love the way the cube always looks like it's inside out after you turn it. Really satisfying to watch and look at. Very nice!
I had some of them one was a keychain. I love the big cube.
Thanks Brian

You can use isopropyl alcohol to make hot glue release easily.

Perfect gearshift knob!

Awesome job Ben. Now I just need to undo the mistake of telling my wife that I was watching a guy on UA-cam polishing his knob.
