I can not believe you figured this out so quickly. The trailer itself seems to be very high IQ. Nothing shown stood out so much because they were already showing advanced use cases that would not be normally recognized if you had not used the moves yourself. My first impression on projectiles was that some or all can universally be reflected (like Mii Gunner's down special explosive).

EDIT: I should specify whenever we see a projectile reflected it’s with a basic attack and that’s why I think it’s universal. Cause so many characters do it with basic attacks and if it isn’t universal, it’s something that should be relegated to only one character.

I wish more people understood the characters Ludosity chose were ones they thought had the most moveset potential. They weren't going to include characters out of principal. Like I'm sorry but I don't get why so many ppl wanted two more turtles that likely wouldn't play that differently just because "there should be all 4." April has a really unique concept and because of that I think she was a much better addition. Edit: I'm not here to argue so if u disagree sorry I'm not reading it lol
All 4 turtles are together in practically every other fighting game they appear in and their movesets still stand out because they wield completely different weapons. Injustice 2 gives them mostly unique movesets. It's not a fighting game, but in the upcoming Shredder's Revenge, trailers show them all with completely different movesets and characteristics. I don't disagree that April is unique, but I also don't think you can just discount Donny or Raph because they don't stand out from Leo or Mikey.
A boa staff, two katanas, nunchucks, and sais are all VERY different from one another. And the Turtles have always had different play sales in their games. Heck, the reason why people usually gravitate towards Donatello in the games is because his boa staff always gives him incredibly long range that the other turtles can't match. There is absolutely no excuse for why Donatello and Raphael shouldn't be playable in this game. It isn't as if the devs don't even have reference material to choose from. Get your facts straight.

I really hope to see more details about the mechanics and core gameplay of this game ASAP!

My point in bringing it up though is that I'm pretty sure there are some mechanics directly taken from Slap, so there's definitely some similarities. If characters do have dash attacks that means that's a significant addition to the game
