I think one key element people are sleeping on regarding Deni, is his insane work ethic. Unlike most players you know what they are going to be 2-3 years from now, this dude is such an elite worker that he can improve and expand his game every season. I wouldn't put a ceiling on him as long as he works so hard. There are still stuff on his offensive game (spin move, footwork, mid range) if he can improve, he can become an All Star.
This summer He worked on pull ups and mid range,he said a lot of times he intends going above 20ppg and being an all star. he is going to be an all star next season.
Deni is an enabler, not a scorer. More of a point forward. He needs ball movement, he'll give you the extra pass, do the right move. He can score but that's not his main value. Deni is also a defensive force, he can guard 1 to 5 and his next step will be defence general like Dramond.
What you said was correct for his first three seasons. On his last season he was already a plain scorer. I think he has averaged almost 20ppg the last 20 games or so, when they were prioritized him more and realized it's worth more than prioritizing Poole. I believe he would still improve a lot from the player he's right now, because he's a hard worker during summers.
I'm honestly worried they won't be bad enough to position themselves for a good chance at Flagg. If you look at the roster as is right now, there are guys that saw a ton of minutes last year that won't hardly crack the rotation if everyone stays healthy. They got deeper. They got better. Trades, health, and whether they play the Tanking game at the end. But I see path right now for them not to be terrible.
@@pdxgolfpro well i think they will need to play ant and grant to get or keep their value up.......personally i dont care fore scoot and there are rumors that the front office and coaching dont think he will be much better.....id rather they keep ant and it sure seems like the lottery is just a crap shoot now.......14pct is not.very high......hope the draft and trade well i guess
@@sirloin6662 I agree they have no incentive to trade JG and Ant at current value. Makes sense to play them and get their value up. I'm not giving up on Scoot just yet. I don't believe the front office is either. I wouldn't believe any such rumors personally. We'll see if he makes any improvement on last season. If his last part of the season is any indication I think he can be good even great. But how great is yet to be seen.
@@pdxgolfpro i hear ya...i think i just hate the way they have ki d of hampered ants progression......never gets a chance to have a full season or 2 and just let him play......i just dont think scoot will ever be better than him.and at 24 they act like be is too old for this team.....makes no sense to me
@@sirloin6662 Yeah I get it, the let's trade Ant train has been chugging hard this summer. I'm not ready to get rid of him either. Think he'll be in his sixth year now so I think he kinda is what he's going to be. He's a bucket and a microwave scorer but basically a negative on defense. Scoot is projected to be a better defender but he's got a ways to go to be as good as Ant is offensively. Great playmaker and passer for other's. Something Ant could always get better at. Ant is a score first guard in the mold of Dame of course.
Wasn’t Scoot 19 years old most of his rookie season? It’s insanity to even suggest a 19 year old is a bust lol. The only good 19 year old weve ever seen in the league was Lebron. Even Kobe wasn’t good at that age
I'm a simple man, I see Deni Avdija, I click the video 🔥

Although some of your takes on my Blazers hurt some U still get the NLD award. No Lies Detected.
Great video 🤟🏽
Appreciate you didn’t take any of the takes personally. You’d be surprised lol
I bet man.. fan is short for fanatics. 😆 U get accused of being the worst BC your opinion doesn't align with a fans dilusion. 😂
Good analysis bro.

Deni is a strong right hand driver, hopefully he can develop that left hand
We will see
the next nba superstar
If the blazer dont tank and they bring scoot off the bench they may actually win more than people think
