Great tutorial! Simple and straightforward. I'm using Filmconvert Nitrate but the process is similar. Only difference is that you are doing the coloring far better than me 😅 Since the Film look 'effect' is now available with Resolve 19, a decent looking film emulation is now available to all of us which is amazing!

Haven't you considered using the Filmic Look on DaVinci 19 Studio? I've been exploring it, and it is very good (and free if you have the studio version of DVR 😉). Nice video. Keep on going.

My friend! What is your color menagment settings in davinci ??! Davinci YRGB and Davinci WGI for timeline and maybe gamma 2.4 for output color space?!!
hi, this is best for mute colored video right? i tried it to a iPhone shot video, it became somehow overly saturated..the output is different from yours..
@@judecarlomanaog6633 you have to set your input to rec709 if you are using iPhone. I’m using Sony Slog3. That’s why it became saturated when you applied it to a rec709 footage. Hope this helps 😁
@@alvinastorga8375 I just had to watch a lot of color grading tutorials and tried what works for me. I would say it’s better to just start making videos. This way, you also practice your color grading.

Almost every tutorial forgets about color boost lol. Without it, it makes dehancer footage look so desaturated and gloomy

CinePrint 16 doesn't look practical at all. Too many nodes. You are essentially locked into someone's grading workflow.
